Credo in Unum Deum, part two of a continuing series
The video of religious indifferentism that starred Jorge Mario Bergoglio and co-starred a Buddhist, Talmudist, Mohammedan and a conciliar presbyter has garnered a great deal of attention.
As noted in No Space Between Ratzinger and Bergoglio: So Close in Apostasy, So Far From Catholic Truth, as well as in hundreds upon hundreds of articles on this site, religious indifferentism a hallmark of the “magisterium” of the conciliar “popes” ever since the issuance of Nostra Aetate on October 28, 1965, The only thing that has changed over the years is the increasing degree of boldness with which the conciliar “popes” and their “bishops” have displayed their respect for false religions, thereby violating the First Commandment.
These acts of respect for false religions and veneration of their symbols have served as effective catechizing tools to rip away the actual sensus Catholicus from older Catholics and to provide those born in the 1960s and thereafter with a false sense of the Catholic Faith that includes, among other noted apostasies, religious indifferentism.
To be sure, the “melting pot” that was said to be the United States of America in the Nineteenth Century helped to foster religious indifferentism that certainly influenced many Catholics, noting that many were also ready to do and actually did fight with their fists to defend the Faith from Anglo-Saxon and Masonic nativists who feared that Catholic immigrants would, if they remained faithful to what they, the anti-Catholics, knew to be the duties of the Catholic Faith, seek to convert non-Catholics to the maternal bosom of Holy Mother Church. Human respect being what it is, of course, the fact Catholics lived in close proximity with non-Catholics and worked with them fostered a “live and let live” attitude that took deep root in the American soil, thus predisposing many Catholics here in the United States of America to breathe a sigh of relief when the “Second” Vatican Council endorsed false ecumenism in Unitatis Redintegratio, which was issued on November 21, 1964, the Feast of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
More than any document issued by the “Second” Vatican Council or since then by five different conciliar “popes” and their curial dicasteries, however, the words and the actions of the conciliar “popes” and their “bishops” and priests/presbyters have spoken very loudly in behalf of religious indifferentism. Some examples of Karol Josef Wojtyla/John Paul II’s legendary words of religious indifferentism were provided in Keeping Silent About the Holy Name of Jesus, meaning that it would be good to provide just a few instances of how the vaunted "restorer of tradition," Joseph Alois Ratzinger/Benedict XVI, offended the First and Second Commandments during his seven years, ten months, twelve days as the universal public face of apostasy, focusing specifically on Mohammedanism (with one nod in the direction of Buddhism) as a means to show the absolute continuity between the supposedly "refined" Ratzinger and the visceral, vulgar Bergoglio.
Yes, “Saint John Paul II’s” performance on the stage of apostasy was followed by those of Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI, who fawned all over Jews, Anglicans, Lutherans, Methodists, the Orthodox, Mohammedans—and all other manner of non-Catholics, including Buddhists, who came in for special praise from him in 2007 when he called the place where the Tendei sect of Buddhists practice their devil worship as “sacred” in a message read by one of the most fervent devotees of religious indifferentism and syncretism that the world has ever known, Paul "Cardinal" Poupard, whose successor, Jean Louis "Cardinal" Tauran, has since surpassed him as the "all time Triple A hits leader" of apostasy, second only to the major league leader himself, Jorge Mario Bergoglio. Anyhow, here is Ratzinger/Benedict's letter to the "Venerable" Kahjun Handa of the Tendai sect of Buddhism.
I am glad to greet you and all the religious leaders gathered on the occasion of the Twentieth Anniversary of the Religious Summit Meeting on Mount Hiei. I wish also to convey my best wishes to Venerable Eshin Watanabe, and to recall your distinguished predecessor as Supreme Head of the Tendai Buddhist Denomination, Venerable Etai Yamada. It was he who, having participated in the Day of Prayer for Peace in Assisi on that memorable day of 27 October 1986, initiated the “Religious Summit Meeting” on Mount Hiei in Kyoto in order to keep the flame of the spirit of Assisi burning. I am also happy that Cardinal Paul Poupard, President of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue, is able to take part in this meeting. (Letter to Venerable Kahjun Handa.)
Ah, yes, the "flame of the spirit of Assisi," which Ratzinger/Bergoglio hiimself kept burning on October 27, 2011, as he held the Assisi III "World Day of Prayer for Peace" event on the twenty-fifth anniversary of Wojtyla/John Paul II's Assisi I (see Outcome Based Conciliar Math: Assisi I + Assisi II + Assisi III = A-P-O-S-T-A-S-Y). Make no mistake about it, my good but relatively few readers, the "cultured" Ratzinger was every bit as much the religious indifferentist that his successor as the head of the counterfeit church of conciliarism has shown himself to be.
To wit, tThe photograph below shows none other than the “restorer of tradition,” Joseph Alois Ratzinger/Benedict XVI, standing in the Mohammedan “prayer” position after he had been directed by a Mohammedan imam in Istanbul, Turkey, to turn in the direction of Mecca while in the Blue Mosque there on November 30, 2006, the Feast of Saint Andrew the Apostle.
Ratzinger at the Blue Mosque, November 30, 2006
The antipope emeritus was eager to be obsequious in the presence of his Mohammedan host at the Blue Mosque on November 30, 2006, as he was trying to make amends, as he saw it, for having offended Mohammedans worldwide in a speech he gave at Regensburg University in Germany on September 12, 2006, the Feast of the Holy Name of Mary, by quoting Byzantine Emperor Manuel II Paleologus as follows:
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached.”[3] (Revised Text of Regensburg, Germany, Speech, September 12, 2006.)
The firestorm engendered by a simple historical quotation let loose a furious reaction in the Mohammedan world against the then presiding universal public face of apostasy, Ratzinger/Benedict. Taken aback by the reaction, the then-seventy-nine year-old Modernist inserted the following footnote into the revised text of his speech:
[3] Controversy VII, 2 c: Khoury, pp. 142-143; Förstel, vol. I, VII. Dialog 1.5, pp. 240-241. In the Muslim world, this quotation has unfortunately been taken as an expression of my personal position, thus arousing understandable indignation. I hope that the reader of my text can see immediately that this sentence does not express my personal view of the Qur’an, for which I have the respect due to the holy book of a great religion. In quoting the text of the Emperor Manuel II, I intended solely to draw out the essential relationship between faith and reason. On this point I am in agreement with Manuel II, but without endorsing his polemic. (Footnote in Revised Text of Regensburg, Germany, Speech, September 12, 2006.)
Thus it was that Joseph Alois Ratzinger/Benedict XVI used his appearance at the Blue Mosque on November 30, 2006, to appease the infidels, thus defaming the martyrdom of those Catholics who have preferred torture and death than to give even any momentary credence to the false, blasphemous sewer of impurity and bloodletting that is Mohammedanism.
Ratzinger/Benedict also called the blasphemous Koran “that dear book” upon receiving a copy of it in Rome in May of 2008 just weeks after having received one while at the John Paul II Cultural Center in Washington, District of Columbia on April 17, 2008, and it was only a year later that the “refined,” “cultured” Hegelian advocate of the “new theology” described the mosque Al-Hussein bin Talal in Amman, Jordan, as a “jewel” when he visited Amman, Jordan, on May 9, 2009:
Places of worship, like this splendid Al-Hussein Bin Talal mosque named after the revered late King, stand out like jewels across the earth’s surface. From the ancient to the modern, the magnificent to the humble, they all point to the divine, to the Transcendent One, to the Almighty. And through the centuries these sanctuaries have drawn men and women into their sacred space to pause, to pray, to acknowledge the presence of the Almighty, and to recognize that we are all his creatures. (Speech to Muslim religious leaders, members of the Diplomatic Corps and Rectors of universities in Jordan in front of the mosque al-Hussein bin Talal in Amman)
A den of devil worship was said to be place of worship that stood out like a jewel across the earth’s surface while no mention of the Holy Name of Jesus was made by the man who was thought to be His Vicar on earth. Ratzinger acted as though Our Lord’s Incarnation did not matter and that Mohammedans have no need to convert to the true Faith and thus to avail themselves of the benefits of Our Divine King’s Redemptive Act on the wood of the Holy Cross.
It was only three days later, that is, on May 12, 2009, that the practitioner of “diplomatic” indifferentism went to the Mosque of Great Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem, whereupon he took off his shoes once again and praised a blasphemous religion of violence and carnal licentiousness as follows:
I cordially thank the Grand Mufti, Muhammad Ahmad Hussein, together with the Director of the Jerusalem Islamic Waqf, Sheikh Mohammed Azzam al-Khatib al-Tamimi, and the Head of the Awquaf Council, Sheikh Abdel Azim Salhab, for the welcome they have extended to me on your behalf. I am deeply grateful for the invitation to visit this sacred place, and I willingly pay my respects to you and the leaders of the Islamic community in Jerusalem. (Courtesy visit to the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem at the Mount of the Temple.)
Since when is a place of false worship "sacred" to the true God of Divine Revelation?
A Mohammedan mosque is “sacred” only to the devil, not to the true God of Divine Revelation, the Most Blessed Trinity.
As is well known and has been documented on this site so many times, Jorge Mario Bergoglio has fawned over every false religion imaginable, demonstrating his belief that no one is required to profess and to adhere to the Catholic Faith in order to save his immortal soul, thereby demonstrating himself once again to be a figure of Antichrist.
That is, the constant "papal" reaffirmations of those who adhere to false religions, which have been accompanied by endless gestures of respect and reverence for the symbols of these false religion, stands in stark contrast to the exhortations of our true popes to seek the unconditional conversion of Catholics to the bosom of Holy Mother Church, outside of which there is no salvation and without which there can be no true social order.
Consider, for example, the encyclical letter that Pope Benedict XIV sent on August 1, 1754, the Feast of Saint Peter's Chains and the Commemoration of the Holy Macchabees, to the archbishops, bishops and parish priests and missionaries of the Province of Albania, which was then under the control of the Mohamemdan rulers of the Ottoman Empire. One will see that Pope Benedict XIV was unsparing in his efforts to denounce the quisling compromises that had been made by many of the Albanian faithful, who had become virtual apostates by taking Mohammedan names in order to protect themselves and their property from reprisals from representatives of that “religion of peace” that the conciliar “popes,” including Jorge Mario Bergoglio himself, have told us can help build a world of “justice and peace. Pope Benedict was a true and legitimate Successor of Saint Peter. Jorge Mario Bergoglio is not.
See for yourselves:
To Our Venerable Brothers the Archbishops and Bishops as well as Our Beloved Sons, the Parish Priests and Missionaries of the Province of Albania.
Venerable Brothers and Beloved Sons, We give you Greeting and Our Apostolic Blessing.
Forbidding Use of Mohammedan Names
The Provincial Council of your province of Albania, Venerable Brothers and Beloved Sons, was held in the year 1703 during the pontificate of Our predecessor Pope Clement XI. It decreed most solemnly in its third canon, among other matters, as you know, that Turkish or Mohammedan names should not be given either to children or adults in baptism. It also decreed that the faithful of Christ should not allow themselves to be called by Turkish or Mohammedan names which they had never received, for the purpose of either exemption or immunity from taxes, or the advantage of free trading, or avoiding penalties. We have confirmed and commanded the observance of this decree in Our encyclical letter Inter omnigenas, addressed to the kingdom of Serbia and its neighbouring regions. This encyclical letter, covering many subjects of religion and discipline, was published on the 2nd of February 1744 in the fourth year of Our pontificate. This prudent and saving statute was established by your predecessors with great wisdom and devotion as a shining example of your Catholic faith and sincere Christian piety; in our 1744 encyclical, We strictly ordered it to be imitated and fully observed by other churches. Just as adhering to it clearly results in the greater fame and reputation of your province and in greater benefits for securing the eternal salvation of souls, so if it should be neglected, it would greatly dishonor your province and openly endanger these souls. (Pope Benedict XIV, Quod Provinciale, August 1, 1754.)
Comment Number One:
We are not permitted to compromise the Faith for any reason, including that of career success, economic security, personal physical safety or human respect. We are here to bear witness to the truths of our Faith, not to hide Its blessed light, that of Christ Himself, under a veritable bushel basket:
[11] Blessed are ye when they shall revile you, and persecute you, and speak all that is evil against you, untruly, for my sake: [12] Be glad and rejoice, for your reward is very great in heaven. For so they persecuted the prophets that were before you. [13] You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt lose its savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is good for nothing any more but to be cast out, and to be trodden on by men. [14] You are the light of the world. A city seated on a mountain cannot be hid. [15] Neither do men light a candle and put it under a bushel, but upon a candlestick, that it may shine to all that are in the house. (Matthew 5: 11-15.)
Indeed, Pope Leo the Great reminded Catholics that they cannot be silent about blasphemy as to hold one's tongue as the true God of Divine Revelation, the Most Blessed Trinity, and His Most Blessed Mother and the saints are being blasphemed is to give one's consent to such blasphemy:
But it is vain for them to adopt the name of catholic, as they do not oppose these blasphemies: they must believe them, if they can listen so patiently to such words. (Pope Saint Leo the Great, Epistle XIV, To Anastasius, Bishop of Thessalonica, St. Leo the Great | Letters 1-59 )
The silence of the "conservative" "cardinals," "bishops" and traditionally-minded priests/presbyters is deafeaning, many of whom choose not to defend the honor and majesty and glory of the Most Blessed Trinity in order to retain their status in false religious sect that has been headed by heretics from its very inception, is thus culpable unto them at their Particular Judgment.
Pope Benedict XIV knew that he had an obligation to warn Albanian Catholics through their bishops and priests to stand up for the Faith, not to give the appearance of indifferentism and/or apostasy because of the threats posed by the ever-so-peaceful Mohammedans:
In Our letter mentioned above, We designated that abuse as a cowardly concealment of the Christian profession, approaching infidelity. Since then, We have learned with great mental anguish that many people in that province continue to take Turkish or Mohammedan names despite the consideration of their eternal salvation. They do so not only in order to be immune and free from those taxes and burdens which have often been and continue to be imposed on the faithful of Christ, but also in order that neither they themselves nor their parents may be thought to have abandoned the Mohammedan sect, thereby avoiding the requisite penalties. For all this cannot take place without a pretense of the errors of Mohammed, even if the faith of Christ is adhered to in the heart, and this is at variance with Christian sincerity. It involves a lie in a most serious matter and includes a virtual denial of the Faith, most insulting to God and scandalous to their neighbors. It even gives the Turks themselves a suitable opportunity to rate all Christ's faithful as hypocrites and deceivers, and accordingly to persecute them justly and deservedly.
Comment Number Two:
Contrast Pope Benedict XIV's fidelity to his duties as the Vicar of Christ on earth to warn souls about lying in order to please mre men with the actual (as opposed to parodied) dialogue found on Jorge's recent video that celebrated religious indifferentism:
Jorge Mario Bergoglio (shown seated, either speaking into the camera or reading from the script as various scenes were played) spoke first:
Most of the planet’s inhabitants declare themselves to be believers.
This should lead to dialogue among religions
We should not stop praying and collaborating with those who think differently. (Subtitles from January, 2016, Apostate's Intentions Video.)
The video then shows the adherents of four religions, including the false religion of conciliarism, explaining what they believed:
I believe in Buddha.
I believe in God. (Jew)
I believe in Jesus Christ. (conciliar presbyter)
I believe in God. Allah. (Mohammedan) (Subtitles from January, 2016, Apostate's Intentions Video.)
Bergoglio is then shown again, saying the following:
May think differently, feel differently, seeking God or meeting God in different ways.
In this crowd, this range of religions, there is only one certainty we have for all: we are all children of God.
The “believers” are then shown individually explaining what unites them all, a false concept of “love”:
I believe in love (Buddhist)
I believe in love. (Jew)
I believe in love. (Mohammedan)
I believe in love. (presbyter)
Bergoglio concludes his own part in the proceedings by asking those viewing the video to join in his apostate “prayer” intention:
I hope that you will spread my prayer request for this month: That sincere dialogue among men and women of different faiths may produce the fruits of peace and justice.
I have confidence in your prayers. (Subtitles from January, 2016, Apostate's Intentions Video, which was parodied by a dyed-in-the-wool anti-sedevacantist, a man who believes that he can have his Vicar of Christ and mock him, too, in “The Pope Video” UPDATED.)
Unlike Pope Benedict XIV, Jorge Mario Bergoglio promotes all manner of religious indifferentism. After all, he is a pure Modernist who believes that religious faith springs up within the heart of the individual “believer,” thus validating whatever it is he happens to believe, and his own nefarious example in this regard reaffirms most Catholics within the conciliar structures to hide their Faith under a bushel basket in order not to give offense to those who “think differently, feel differently” than they do. In this, of course, the Argentine Apostate, who has hidden his pectoral cross in front of Talmudists and Buddhists, shows himself to be the exact opposite of Christ the King Himself:
[16] So let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 5: 11-16.)
Pope Benedict XIV reminded the archbishops, bishops, and priests of Albania that they had the obligation to exhort Catholics to give witness to the Holy Faith no matter what it might cost them in earthly terms, and he was unsparing in his condemnation of their own connivances that helped to assuage the consciences of the faithful who had taken Mohammedan names:
2. Our sorrow and anguish is further increased by the fact that some of you yourselves, venerable brothers, and of you also, beloved sons, parish priests and missionaries, take no measures against so vile and hateful a pretense. In fact, some of you even connive at it; by being impressed by empty motives to find excuses for sins, you do not hesitate to allow those who take common Turkish or Mohammedan names and desire to be addressed by them, to partake of the Sacraments with no pang of conscience at all, to the public offense of the obedient faithful.(Pope Benedict XIV, Quod Provinciale, August 1, 1754.)
Comment Number Three:
As we know, Jorge Mario Bergoglio has specifically those who live on what he calls the “peripheries,” namely, those who are living lives of wanton, unrepentant sin, to approach the Sacraments without any reservations or pangs of conscience. This is all part of his “Year of Mercy,” which is nothing other than a celebration of sin in the name of a false mercy that does not require hardened sinners to amend their lives by quitting their sins and avoiding their near occasion in the future.
The false “pontiff’s” false “mercy” stands in contrast to the true mercy shown by the apostolically zealous and paternal heart of Pope Benedict XIV, and it stands in contrast to the true mercy shown to insincere penitents by Padre Pio, something that Mr. Frank Rega, the author of Saint Francis of Assisi and the Conversion of the Muslims, has documented once again on his website:
I recently began to re-read parts of a book on St. Padre Pio I had written about a dozen years ago. As time goes by, even authors have to refresh their memories about the content of their own work. I had been contacted by an organization interested in the saint's interaction with the American military during World War II. In fact, not far from Padre Pio's friary in the town of San Giovanni Rotondo, the Army Air force had established a ring of air fields girding the town of Foggia.
Foggia was on an enormous plain, situated just below the Gargano mountain, upon which sat San Giovanni Rotondo. Often the soldiers and airmen would explore nearby towns, and exchange candy and cigarettes for fresh eggs and vegetables from the locals. During these interchanges, the troops began hearing stories about some mysterious holy man on the mountain.
Before long, many soldiers, with some Protestants joining the Catholics, were making the trek up the Gargano to attend Padre Pio's early morning Mass. One of these men was Ray Ewen, who was attached to a bomb group of B-24s based near Foggia. From 1943 to 1945 Ray made so many trips up the mountain that he became friends not only with Padre Pio but also with the saint's father Grazio, who was residing near the friary. Ray would often sit on the little stone wall surrounding the elm tree in front of the friary, listening to Grazio Forgione talk about his famous son.
Quoting directly from the book, Padre Pio and America, pp. 120-121, is the following occurrence that Ray Ewen spoke to me about:
"On one of his visits to San Giovanni, Ray was inside the church while Confessions were taking place, and he heard Padre Pio order someone out of the confessional. After hearing Padre Pio say this, some of those waiting their turn in line lost their nerve, got out of the line, and left. They had witnessed one of the distinctive marks of Padre Pio's ministry of bringing souls to God. He would refuse to hear a Confession on those occasions when he was aware that the penitent was insincere, or required a jolt to make him realize that he needed to examine his conscience. It is said that invariably such people would undergo an inner conversion, and eventually return to make a sincere Confession either to Padre Pio or to another priest." (An Example of Padre Pio's Mercy.)
Such genuine mercy as exhibited by Pope Benedict XIV and Padre Pio, among so many others, is foreign to the mind of the pure Modernist, Bergoglio, who believes that one’s religious beliefs spring up from within his heart, thus validating whatever it is he happens to believe, thereby placing all religions and irreligion itself on an equal footing,
Prompted by the same God the Holy Ghost Who has guided each of our true popes and Who cannot contradict Himself, Pope Benedict XIV expressed his own awareness of the accounting he would have to make at the time of his Particular Judgment if he failed to call the Albanian hierarchy, clergy and faithful to correction:
3. We who are entrusted with the care of all the churches and the supreme administration of the sacred Apostolate; in this capacity, We are obliged to lead all Christians back to the way of salvation and to present them to God pure and sincere, walking in the spirit and in truth without stain. We have heard Our Venerable Brothers, the Cardinals of the Holy Roman Church, who are general Inquisitors for evil heresy on this subject. In accordance with their advice, We first renew and confirm by Our Apostolic authority in this letter the praiseworthy canon of the council of your province of Albania, and We command that it be strictly observed. Also We extend the decrees of Our church by the same authority and uniformity to include your province; We equally strictly prohibit any of Christ's faithful from daring to take Turkish or Mohammedan names in order to be considered Mohammedans, in any case, under any pretext, or in any conceivable circumstances.(Pope Benedict XIV, Quod Provinciale, August 1, 1754.)
Comment Number Four:
Pope Benedict XIV’s words were prophetic echoes of those written one hundred fourteen later by Pope Pius IX in Iam Vos Omnes, September 13, 1868, and one hundred forty-two years later by Pope Leo XIII in Praeclara Gratulationis Publicae, June 29, 1894, and one hundred seventy-four years later by Pope Pius XI in Mortalium Animos, January 6, 1928, to exhort non-Catholics to convert unconditionally and with urgency to the Catholic Faith:
It is for this reason that so many who do not share 'the communion and the truth of the Catholic Church' must make use of the occasion of the Council, by the means of the Catholic Church, which received in Her bosom their ancestors, proposes [further] demonstration of profound unity and of firm vital force; hear the requirements [demands] of her heart, they must engage themselves to leave this state that does not guarantee for them the security of salvation. She does not hesitate to raise to the Lord of mercy most fervent prayers to tear down of the walls of division, to dissipate the haze of errors, and lead them back within holy Mother Church, where their Ancestors found salutary pastures of life; where, in an exclusive way, is conserved and transmitted whole the doctrine of Jesus Christ and wherein is dispensed the mysteries of heavenly grace.
It is therefore by force of the right of Our supreme Apostolic ministry, entrusted to us by the same Christ the Lord, which, having to carry out with [supreme] participation all the duties of the good Shepherd and to follow and embrace with paternal love all the men of the world, we send this Letter of Ours to all the Christians from whom We are separated, with which we exhort them warmly and beseech them with insistence to hasten to return to the one fold of Christ; we desire in fact from the depths of the heart their salvation in Christ Jesus, and we fear having to render an account one day to Him, Our Judge, if, through some possibility, we have not pointed out and prepared the way for them to attain eternal salvation. In all Our prayers and supplications, with thankfulness, day and night we never omit to ask for them, with humble insistence, from the eternal Shepherd of souls the abundance of goods and heavenly graces. And since, if also, we fulfill in the earth the office of vicar, with all our heart we await with open arms the return of the wayward sons to the Catholic Church, in order to receive them with infinite fondness into the house of the Heavenly Father and to enrich them with its inexhaustible treasures. By our greatest wish for the return to the truth and the communion with the Catholic Church, upon which depends not only the salvation of all of them, but above all also of the whole Christian society: the entire world in fact cannot enjoy true peace if it is not of one fold and one shepherd. (Pope Pius IX, Iam Vos Omnes, September 13, 1868.)
Weigh carefully in your minds and before God the nature of Our request. It is not for any human motive, but impelled by Divine Charity and a desire for the salvation of all, that We advise the reconciliation and union with the Church of Rome; and We mean a perfect and complete union, such as could not subsist in any way if nothing else was brought about but a certain kind of agreement in the Tenets of Belief and an intercourse of Fraternal love. The True Union between Christians is that which Jesus Christ, the Author of the Church, instituted and desired, and which consists in a Unity of Faith and Unity of Government. (Pope Leo XIII, referring to the Orthodox in Praeclara Gratulationis Publicae, June 20, 1884.)
Let, therefore, the separated children draw nigh to the Apostolic See, set up in the City which Peter and Paul, the Princes of the Apostles, consecrated by their blood; to that See, We repeat, which is "the root and womb whence the Church of God springs," not with the intention and the hope that "the Church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth" will cast aside the integrity of the faith and tolerate their errors, but, on the contrary, that they themselves submit to its teaching and government. Would that it were Our happy lot to do that which so many of Our predecessors could not, to embrace with fatherly affection those children, whose unhappy separation from Us We now bewail. Would that God our Savior, "Who will have all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth,"[29] would hear us when We humbly beg that He would deign to recall all who stray to the unity of the Church! In this most important undertaking We ask and wish that others should ask the prayers of Blessed Mary the Virgin, Mother of divine grace, victorious over all heresies and Help of Christians, that She may implore for Us the speedy coming of the much hoped-for day, when all men shall hear the voice of Her divine Son, and shall be "careful to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace." (Pope Pius XI, Mortalium Animos, January 6, 1928.)
The conciliar “popes” have used no such language, have they? This because they do not possess the Catholic Faith, which one must possess in Its entirety or be considered a heathen or a publican, a truth that our true popes have taught us so frequently, including as it was expressed by Pope Pius XII in Mystici Corporis, June 29, 1943:
Actually only those are to be included as members of the Church who have been baptized and profess the true faith, and who have not been so unfortunate as to separate themselves from the unity of the Body, or been excluded by legitimate authority for grave faults committed. "For in one spirit" says the Apostle, "were we all baptized into one Body, whether Jews or Gentiles, whether bond or free." As therefore in the true Christian community there is only one Body, one Spirit, one Lord, and one Baptism, so there can be only one faith. And therefore, if a man refuse to hear the Church, let him be considered - so the Lord commands - as a heathen and a publican. It follows that those who are divided in faith or government cannot be living in the unity of such a Body, nor can they be living the life of its one Divine Spirit. (Pope Pius XII, Mystici Corporis, June 29, 1943.)
As a true pastor of souls, Pope Benedict XIV was concerned that the cowardice of Albanian Catholics would be a scandal to the heretical and schismatic Orthodox of the Ottoman Empire, a scandal that would reaffirm these non-Catholics in their false beliefs and thus reaffirm their misperceptions about the Catholic Faith:
4. Furthermore, venerable brothers and beloved sons, We ask and urge you in the Lord to think seriously about your ministry and the strict account you will have to give to the Eternal Judge Jesus Christ, the Supreme Prince of Pastors, for the sheep entrusted to each one of you; to this end, We urge you to take personal care by your good works that your election will be assured. Since it would be very careless and negligent on your part not to, do not fail to patiently convince, implore, and exhort the faithful of Christ in your Province to lead a good life among the nations. Urge them in all affairs to conduct themselves so as to be an example of good works in order that those who oppose them may be chagrined since they have nothing evil to say of them, and they cannot accuse them of being evildoers who for the sake of base gain profess one thing with their lips while believing differently in their hearts. But if they do not accept your warnings and Our commands, they must be compelled by the rod to follow the norm of Apostolic discipline. The sanctions and penalties provided for by your Albanian council and by Our letter mentioned above must be fully applied in their case: that is, they must be declared unfit to receive the Sacraments in their lifetime, and if they die unrepentant, to benefit from prayers after death. Insofar as it is necessary, We renew and reapply these penalties; We enjoin you to ensure their due execution. This should not be hard for any one of you, venerable brothers and beloved sons, for none of the schismatics and heretics has been rash enough to take a Mohammedan name, and unless your justice abounds more than theirs, you shall not enter the kingdom of Heaven. (Pope Benedict XIV, Quod Provinciale, August 1, 1754.)
Comment Number Five:
Jorge Mario Bergoglio gives scandal all of the time. Indeed, it is very telling that apostate Catholics such as former Alaska Governor Sarah Heath Palin and lifelong evangelical or fundamentalist Protestants are more scandalized by his words and actions in support of Communism, environmentalism, feminism, statism, global governance, rank immorality and in support of non-Christians as “believers” than are most Catholics today.
Pope Benedict XIV gave a strong exhortation to the Albanian bishops and priests to do their duty before God. He was not, however, unmindful of the difficulties that Albanian Catholics faced while living under the yoke of the wretched Mohammedan rulers of the Ottoman Empire, which is why he urged the bishops and priests of the country located in the Balkan mountains across the Adriatic Sea from Italy to find ways to help the weakest of the faithful to leave if they could not withstand the pressures of living under Mohammedan rule:
5. Finally, gravely advise those who have converted from Mohammedanism or the children of such converts, if they lack confidence in their constancy in the Faith, fearing punishment by their rulers if they abandon their Turkish names, to emigrate secretly from those territories and come for refuge to Christian lands. There they shall in no way lack the help of God who gives food to all flesh, or the charity of the faithful, especially if their Bishops provide them with letters of recommendation. In the meantime, We lovingly grant you Our Apostolic Blessing, venerable brothers and beloved sons, and We desire each Venerable Brother Bishop to extend it in Our name to all the orthodox faithful of Christ in his own diocese.
Given at Rome in St. Mary Major on the first day of August, 1754, in the fourteenth year of Our Pontificate. (Pope Benedict XIV, Quod Provinciale, August 1, 1754.)
Behold, my friends, a true pastor of souls, a pope who gave quarter to Mohammedanism, which is, of course, given every mark respect and expression of admiration by Jorge Mario Bergoglio, who has merely carried on the “tradition” begun at the “Second” Vatican Council that has been carried on with great enthusiasm by each of the four intervening false “popes” prior to his own election as the universal public face of apostasy on Wednesday, March 13, 2013.
A true pope expressed himself boldly with pastoral concern.
A false “pope” expresses himself with words like “I believe in love,” thereby teaching others that love consists the sentimentality of the human heart, not in the reality of Divine Revelation.
We must continue to beseech Our Lady, especially through her Most Holy Rosary, to beg her for the graces we need to remain steadfast in the Faith ourselves no matter what it might cost us for continuing to do so. Remember, the cost of not doing so bears the same sort of dreadful eternal consequences that Pope Benedict XVI was concerned awaited the quisling Catholics of Albany two hundred sixty-two years ago now.
A continued blessed Octave of the Epiphany to you all.
