Information on the Requiem Mass for +Bishop Robert Fidelis McKenna, O.P.
Information on the Requiem Mass for +Bishop Robert Fidelis McKenna, O.P.:
Here is the information on the PontificalI Requiem Mass for the late +Bishop Robert Fidelis McKenna, O.P. (July 8, 1927-December 16, 2015; ordained to the priesthood on June 5, 1958; consecrated as a bishop on August 22, 1986):
Pontifical Requiem Mass
Saint Dominic Chapel
765 North Hickory Ridge Road
Highland, Michigan 48357
10:00 a.m.
Please join us in praying for +Bishop McKenna's immortal soul during the time that his Requiem Mass is being offered and as his mortal remains are being laid to rest.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
May his soul and all of the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
We have already had several favors granted after praying to Bishop McKenna, and we know of others around the country who have had their own favors granted after praying to him. While we must pray for the repose of his immortal soul as we do not know for certain that anyone's soul is in Heaven until he is canonized by a true and legitimate Successor of Saint Peter, there is no doubt in my mind that we have gained a valuable intercessor in eternity!
Deo gratias!
