Lippy Leo Has Lots to Say About Trump, But Zips the Lip About Sacrilege
Leo Ernest Durocher was a legendarily infamous baseball player (New York Yankees, Cincinnati Reds, Saint Louis Cardinals, Brooklyn Dodgers) and manager (Brooklyn Dodgers, New York Giants, Chicago Cubs, Houston Astros) who shot off his mouth all the time. Although it is said that one of his most famous quotations, “Nice guys finish last,” was a compilation of different quotations of his, Durocher made the phrase his own and even published a “as told to” “autobiography” under the title of Nice Guys Finish Last. Leo the Lip or Lippy Leo Durocher was never at a loss for words. Never.
Similarly, a new Lippy Leo, Robert Francis Prevost, never seems to be lost for words about President Donald John Trump’s policies, thus carrying on the “tradition” of direct criticism of Trump begun by Prevost/Leo XIV’s predecessor, the egregiously insidious pestilential demon named Jorge Mario Bergoglio. It is amazing to watch the open hypocrisy of the effusive praise that Bergoglio heaped upon Barack Hussein Obama/Barry Soetoro, Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr., Nancy Patricia D’Alesandro Pelosi, Emmanuel Macron, and other pro-aborts in public life, to say nothing of the warm he exhibited towards an actual abortionist, Emma Bonino, the “Margaret Sanger of Italy, because of the work that she did with illegal immigrants. Prevost/Leo XIV has continued this “tradition” by supporting the soft-on-baby-killing pro-sodomite Blase Cupich’s decision to bestow an award upon the pro-abortion, pro-sodomite United States Senator Richard Durbin (D-Illinois), who ultimately declined the award, while saying that the chemical and surgical execution of the innocent preborn was just one of many “pro-life” issues, including opposition to the death penalty and to the deportation of illegal immigrants.
Lippy Leo Prevost is now openly expressing criticism of President Donald John Trump’s twenty-point peace plan to end Russia’s war with Ukraine that merely reflects the actual state of the battlefield in Ukraine and calls upon the Europeans to deal with European problems without relying upon the assistance of the United States of America:
Pope Leo XIV warned the Trump administration against what he described as an effort to "break apart" the alliance between the U.S. and Europe.
The big picture: The Chicago-born pontiff has not shied away from criticizing the administration in the past, notably on immigration.
- He has called for a just and lasting peace between Russia and Ukraine, and did so again in his Tuesday meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, per the Vatican's press office.
Driving the news: Asked if he believed the U.S.-proposed peace plan to settle the Russia-Ukraine war was fair, the pope told reporters that what he had seen "unfortunately" marked "a huge change in what was for many, many years a true alliance between Europe and the United States."
- Leo cited recent remarks made about Europe, presumably including the president's recent assessment of U.S. allies as "decaying," that he said are "trying to break apart what I think needs to be a very important alliance today and in the future."
- He added, "It has a number of things in it that I think while perhaps many people in the United States would be in agreement, I think many others would see things in a different way."
Catch up quick: In a wide-ranging interview with Politico's Dasha Burns, the president argued many European countries would "not be viable countries any longer," blaming immigration.
- His comments aligned with his administration's new national security strategy, dubbed the "'Trump Corollary' to the Monroe Doctrine." It calls for prioritizing the cultivation of "resistance to Europe's current trajectory within European nations."
- It reads, "We want Europe to remain European, to regain its civilizational self-confidence, and to abandon its failed focus on regulatory suffocation."
What they're saying: White House spokesperson Anna Kelly told Axios in a statement that the president "has great relationships with many European leaders, but he never shies away from delivering hard truths."
- She added, "The devastating impacts of unchecked migration, and those migrants' inability to assimilate, are not just a concern for President Trump, but for Europeans themselves, who have increasingly noted immigration as one of their top concerns."
Zoom in: According to a translation by the Vatican, Leo also stressed to reporters the importance of Europe's role in peace talks, saying it's unrealistic to try to reach a peace agreement without European involvement.
- "Unfortunately," he added, per the translation, "not everyone understands this, but I believe there is a great opportunity for the idea of Europe to come together and seek solutions collectively."
State of play: Amid growing tensions between the U.S. and European powers on how to end the war, Trump held a call Wednesday with the leaders of France, the U.K. and Germany.
- Zelensky is facing pressure to accept Trump's peace plan, which includes major territorial losses and other concessions, Axios' Barak Ravid reports.
- "He's going to have to get on the ball and start accepting things," Trump said of Zelensky in the Politico interview. "You know, when you're losing, 'cause he's losing." (Lippy Leo cautions Trump on efforts to "break apart" Europe alliance.)
While the next original commentary for this site will about tragic situation in Ukraine, suffice it to say for the moment that Lippy Leo Prevost lives the same bubble as the Eurosocialist globalists who have enabled Volodymyr Zelensky to keep fighting as his own government is rife with typical Ukrainian graft and as his own countrymen keep dying and as his cities keep being destroyed for no justifiable reason at all.
However, Lippy Leo Prevost keeps his lips zipped when it comes to sacrileges against Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and His Most Blessed Mother as occurred recently in Vienna, Austria:
VIENNA (LifeSiteNews) — Catholics held a Rosary rally on Monday in front of a blasphemous art exhibit in Vienna, Austria, as a public act of reparation for the offense against God.
As LifeSiteNews previously reported, a blasphemous, state-funded art exhibition in Vienna has caused an outcry from faithful Catholics for mocking Jesus Christ and the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The title of the exhibition, “You shall make for yourself an image,” is an inversion of God’s command found in Sacred Scripture to “not make to thyself a graven thing, nor the likeness of anything that is in heaven above” (Exodus 20:4).
The sacrilegious feature image of the display, prominently shown at the entrance of the “Künstlerhaus” in Vienna, is meant to depict the Blessed Virgin Mary as a bearded man holding a child.
Several chapters of the TFP (Tradition, Family and Property) from around the world gathered in Vienna to hold a Rosary rally in front of the Künstlerhaus as an act of public reparation.
The rally took place on December 8, the feast of the Immaculate Conception. Gabriel Zeymer from the Austrian TFP told LifeSiteNews that the date was chosen on purpose in honor of the Blessed Virgin, who is mocked in this display. Zeymer said the exhibition is held from shortly before Advent until after Christmas time. He noted that the dates were likely chosen deliberately during a time when Catholics honor Jesus Christ and his Blessed Mother.
Zeymer said Catholics from many different countries joined the rally, including one person from the Czech Republic who drove three hours to get there. Four members of the American TFP flew in from the U.S. to take part.
During the Rosary rally that lasted about an hour, Jon Paul Fabrizio, a member of TFP from the U.S., gave a speech in which he admonished the “vile, unspeakable blasphemy” on display in the Vienna art exhibition.
“Vienna is one of the most important cities in the world and has a history of defending the rights of the Church throughout history,” he said. “That’s why a blasphemy here in Vienna is especially grave and represents an attack not only on the Catholics here in Austria but an attack on Catholics around the world.”
“When the honor of God and Our Lady is attacked, we need to make reparation,” he stated, explaining that “public sin requires public reparation.”
“The final goal of blasphemy is to normalize irreverence towards the Holy Name of God,” Fabrizio continued. “The worst thing that can happen is allowing a blasphemy to pass without public outcry. Once we reach this point, blasphemy is normalized, and the other side wins.” (Catholics hold Rosary rally of reparation outside Vienna’s blasphemous art exhibit.)
Well, I have something of a newsflash for the members of Tradition, Family, and Property, each of whom is a sedeplenist: the conciliar revolutionaries themselves have been sanctioning blasphemy and sacrilege for the past six decades.
The conciliar “popes” have engaged in inter-religious pow wows with leaders of false religions, including outright pagans.
The conciliar “popes” have esteemed the symbols of false religions with their own hands, going so far to ask “forgiveness” for an Austrian man’s courageous drowning of the Pachamama idol into the Tiber River during the Amazonian Synod of 2019 (see Francis apologizes that Amazon synod ‘Pachamama’ was thrown into Tiber River and my own The Key to Understanding Our Situation Today: The Conciliar Church is Not the Catholic Church).
The conciliar “popes” have presided over antipapal extravaganza liturgies that have included pagan rituals and featured half-naked people presenting the “gifts” at the abomination of desolation that is the Protestant and Judeo-Masonic Novus Ordo liturgical, which is itself the conciliar sect’s most egregious outrage against the honor and glory of God and the sanctification and salvation of souls.
The conciliar “popes” and “bishops” have sponsored various “rock” concerts and used their churches for the celebration of sins that cry out to Heaven for vengeance.
The recently deceased conciliar “pope,” Jorge Mario Bergoglio/Argentine Apostate, authorized “blessings” to be given to those engaged in unnatural sins against Holy Purity that cry out to Heaven for vengeance (see Jorge Demands That His Clergy Suborn Sins That Cry Out to Heaven for Vengeance, Jorge Demands that His Clergy Suborn Sins That Cry Out to Heaven for Vengeance, part two, and Two Argentine Fiends Patronize African “Bishops” In Defense of Sodomy).
Jorge Mario Bergoglio himself approved of what is called the Amazonian Liturgy and one of the Mayans (see Bergoglio Extols and Idolizes the Very Pagan Practices that Our Lady Sought to Eradicate).
Formerly Catholic churches in Europe that have been emptied because of the empty conciliar religion have been turned into nightclubs and cafes (In Europe's empty churches, prayer and confessionals make way for drinking and dancing).
Robert Francis Prevost/Leo XIV himself gave permission two months for Mohammedan scholars visiting the Vatican Library to have a small room where they could pray to their false god (see Vatican 'grants request fotr Muslim prayer room').
Why should we expect pagan secular humanists and globalists to have any more respect for the Catholic Faith than the conciliar “popes” and “bishops” have shown as they continue to say and do things that millions of Catholic martyrs refused to say and do at the cost of imprisonment, barbaric tortures, and cruel executions?
Why should we expect Leo the Lip Prevost to denounce secular humanists and globalists for doing what he himself has done despite his more sober demeanor as compared to his caricature of a predecessor?
What is happening in Vienna is par for the course around the so-called “civilized world,” which is governed by men who have no fear of Christ the King and nothing but contempt for His true Church.
Those who remain silent about the blasphemies and sacrileges of the conciliar “popes” are just as guilty as those “popes” themselves have been for refusing to denounce blasphemies and sacrileges in the world, something that Pope Saint Leo the Great made abundantly clear:
But it is vain for them to adopt the name of catholic, as they do not oppose these blasphemies: they must believe them, if they can listen so patiently to such words. (Pope Saint Leo the Great, Epistle XIV, To Anastasius, Bishop of Thessalonica, St. Leo the Great | Letters 1-59 )
Obviously, it would never be necessary to criticize a true pope as thirty-three of them gave up their own lives rather than to submit to the worship of the idols or to engage in the kind of blasphemous sacrileges as have the false “popes” of the conciliar sect. Many other true popes in the modern era have been unstinting in their criticism of Jude-Masonic effort to sacralize the profane and to profae the sacred:
If these be taken away, as the naturalists and Freemasons desire, there will immediately be no knowledge as to what constitutes justice and injustice, or upon what principle morality is founded. And, in truth, the teaching of morality which alone finds favor with the sect of Freemasons, and in which they contend that youth should be instructed, is that which they call "civil," and "independent," and "free," namely, that which does not contain any religious belief. But, how insufficient such teaching is, how wanting in soundness, and how easily moved by every impulse of passion, is sufficiently proved by its sad fruits, which have already begun to appear. For, wherever, by removing Christian education, this teaching has begun more completely to rule, there goodness and integrity of morals have begun quickly to perish, monstrous and shameful opinions have grown up, and the audacity of evil deeds has risen to a high degree. All this is commonly complained of and deplored; and not a few of those who by no means wish to do so are compelled by abundant evidence to give not infrequently the same testimony.
Moreover, human nature was stained by original sin, and is therefore more disposed to vice than to virtue. For a virtuous life it is absolutely necessary to restrain the disorderly movements of the soul, and to make the passions obedient to reason. In this conflict human things must very often be despised, and the greatest labors and hardships must be undergone, in order that reason may always hold its sway. But the naturalists and Freemasons, having no faith in those things which we have learned by the revelation of God, deny that our first parents sinned, and consequently think that free will is not at all weakened and inclined to evil. On the contrary, exaggerating rather the power and the excellence of nature, and placing therein alone the principle and rule of justice, they cannot even imagine that there is any need at all of a constant struggle and a perfect steadfastness to overcome the violence and rule of our passions.
Wherefore we see that men are publicly tempted by the many allurements of pleasure; that there are journals and pamphlets with neither moderation nor shame; that stage-plays are remarkable for license; that designs for works of art are shamelessly sought in the laws of a so-called verism; that the contrivances of a soft and delicate life are most carefully devised; and that all the blandishments of pleasure are diligently sought out by which virtue may be lulled to sleep. Wickedly, also, but at the same time quite consistently, do those act who do away with the expectation of the joys of heaven, and bring down all happiness to the level of mortality, and, as it were, sink it in the earth. Of what We have said the following fact, astonishing not so much in itself as in its open expression, may serve as a confirmation. For, since generally no one is accustomed to obey crafty and clever men so submissively as those whose soul is weakened and broken down by the domination of the passions, there have been in the sect of the Freemasons some who have plainly determined and proposed that, artfully and of set purpose, the multitude should be satiated with a boundless license of vice, as, when this had been done, it would easily come under their power and authority for any acts of daring.
What refers to domestic life in the teaching of the naturalists is almost all contained in the following declarations: that marriage belongs to the genus of commercial contracts, which can rightly be revoked by the will of those who made them, and that the civil rulers of the State have power over the matrimonial bond; that in the education of youth nothing is to be taught in the matter of religion as of certain and fixed opinion; and each one must be left at liberty to follow, when he comes of age, whatever he may prefer. To these things the Freemasons fully assent; and not only assent, but have long endeavored to make them into a law and institution. For in many countries, and those nominally Catholic, it is enacted that no marriages shall be considered lawful except those contracted by the civil rite; in other places the law permits divorce; and in others every effort is used to make it lawful as soon as may be. Thus, the time is quickly coming when marriages will be turned into another kind of contract -- that is into changeable and uncertain unions which fancy may join together, and which the same when changed may disunite. (Pope Leo XIII, Humanum Genus, April 20, 1884.)
This was not only a very accurate description of the times in which Pope Leo XIII lived during the ninth decade of the Nineteenth Century, it remains a very prophetic warning of the worse things to come that we have seen come to fruition with our own eyes, including the very “canonization” of this Judeo-Masonic spirit at the “Second” Vatican Council sixty years ago and its never-ending incorporation into every nook and cranny of what most people think is the Catholic Church by putative “popes,” “bishops,” “priests,” and all manner of other officials who have held or are holding now some kind of educational or administrative positions sanctioned by the conciliar revolutionaries.
As noted earlier, millions of Catholic martyrs preferred death rather than make any compromises with the Holy Faith to placate heretics or infidels, and they were unstinting in refusing to offer even once small grain of incense to false idols. It is time for those in the resist while recognize movement to wake up and to recognize that the problem is not this or that “pope.” The problem is the rise of a false church that is not the Catholic Church.
Saint Peter of Verona, O.P., was killed by the heretics of his own day, the Cathars (Albingensians). Saint Peter Martyr did not practice false ecumenism with the Cathars; he sought their conversion, and he was willing to shed his very blood to defend the Holy Faith while avoiding even the appearance of giving any kind of legitimacy to the heretics and their falsehoods.
St. Peter Martyr of Verona was not the first Dominican to die in the cause of truth, but so great was he revered for his sanctity that he was canonized the year after his death; hence he became the type of fearless apostle of the Order.
More remarkable than his death is the record of his life. Born of heretical parents, and surrounded during his whole childhood with the most harmful theories and practices, Peter preserved a purity of faith and morals which was nothing short of miraculous. Continually ridiculed and harangued by his relatives, he remained untarnished in both body and soul. Sent to Bologna to the university of the age of fifteen, he met Saint Dominic, and instantly, with no backward glances at the wealth and power he was foregoing, threw himself at the saint’s feet and begged admission to the Order. He was present at the death of St. Dominic, and shared in the legacy of primitive zeal and courage passed to the sons of a saint.
While still a student, Peter underwent a severe trial. He was publicly reprimanded and placed on punishment because a brother, passing Peter’s cell late at night, thought he had heard women’s voices in the room. The voices were those of angels, who frequently visited the saint: but in his humility he thought it better to accept the punishment and say nothing about it. He was sent to another convent to do penance, and his ordination was delayed. Peter prayed and found great strength in prayer: but, being human, he felt the disgrace keenly, and he one day complained to our Lord: “Lord, Thou knowest that I am innocent of this: why dost Thou permit them to believe it of me?” A sorrowful voice replied from the crucifix: “And I, Peter, what have I done that they should do this to Me?” Peter complained no more. The truth was eventually discovered, and Peter, reinstated in the community, resumed his studies. He prayed daily for the happiness of dying a martyr’s death.
Peter soon became a celebrated preacher and engaged in disputes with the heretics all over northern Italy. Many miracles were worked through his prayers, to the rage of the heretics. In one city, a prominent man had been won to heresy, because the devil, taking the appearance of the Blessed Mother, appeared at the heretics’ meetings and encouraged him to join them. Peter, determined to win the man back to the truth, went to the meeting of the heretics, and, when the devil appeared in his disguise, held up a small pyx in which he had placed a consecrated Host. “If you are the Mother of God,” cried Peter, “adore your Son!” The devil fled in dismay, and many heretics were converted. Enraged by Peter’s success, his enemies made plans to destroy him.
Sold like his Master for thirty pieces of silver, Peter was ambushed and killed on the road to Milan. He went to his death singing, which is the traditional Dominican way to enter heaven. Undaunted by the threats of the heretics, he walked along singing the Easter Sequence, and fell unprotesting beneath the blows of the assassins. One of his murderers, touched by grace at the sight of a saint, was converted, eventually took the Dominican habit, and was popularly known as “Blessed” Carino. To him, as to us, Peter has pointed out the way to heaven when he traced on the dusty of the road, in his own blood, the creed that had highlighted his path: “Credo in unum Deum.” (Sister Jean Mary Dorcy, O.P., Saint Dominic’s Family: Lives and Legends. Dubuque, Iowa: The Priory Press, 1964, pp. 45-46.)
Credo in unum Deum.
It is impossible to believe in the one God of Divine Revelation, the Most Blessed Trinity, while reaffirming those who believe and worship false gods, and it is such reaffirmation given by the conciliar “popes” to the leaders of false religions that make the ever increasing torrent of blasphemies and sacrileges from the lords of Modernity more possible, noting, of course that such worldly outrages stem remotely from the Protestant Revolution’s overthrow of the Social Reign of Christ the King but have been given license proximately by the conciliar revolutionaries’ “official reconciliation” with that overthrow.
Our Lady left a miraculous image of herself on the tilma of Juan Diego on this day four hundred ninety-four years ago, and it is this miraculous image that helped to convert millions of pagan Aztecs and Mayans to the true Faith.
May we pray to Our Lady of Guadalupe today so that, despite the lip service that Robert Francis Prevost/Leo XIV will give to her today, probably by twisting her apparitions as exemplative of conciliarism’s “inculturation of the Gospel” and as a patroness of “migrants,” the day will come when a true pope will be restored to the Throne of Saint Peter and give voice to the true Faith that never makes compromise with idols and never sanctions blasphemies in the name of “diversity” and “toleration.”
Our continued devotion to Our Lady’s Most Holy Rosary will help to usher in the day for which we pray, the day on which all men shall have a common father on earth and thus worship the true God of Divine Revelation, the Most Holy Trinity, in Spirit and in Truth as members of the Catholic Church.
