The Rope Has Been Sold: Red China Is Coming to Hang the West With It
The history of organized Communist efforts to infiltrate the politics, law, government, and social life of the United States of America dates back over a century, to the time that Americans such as John Reed supported the Marxist-Leninist takeover of Russia on October 21, 1917. Various Communist front organizations sprouted up throughout the Western world with academics, journalists, and performers among those who were prominent in Soviet Union’s propaganda efforts, which involved attempting to seize control of American labor unions, succeeding to influence the United Automobile Workers of America until Walter Reuther expelled Communists from its ranks in 1947 and the Congress of Industrial Organizations.
Famously, nearly three thousand citizens of the United States of America volunteered to fight for the Communists in the war against Catholicism in Spain from 1936 to 1939 at a time when a number of American universities and colleges were filled with apologists for international Communism who defended the mass murderer named Joseph Stalin at every turn until his eventual successor, Nikita Sergei Khrushchev denounced Stalin and his crimes during the period in Soviet history known as de-Stalinization.
Before the death of Stalin, however, men such as Vice President Henry Agard Wallace expressed his sympathies with the Soviet cause, and advocated for the provision of American military and economic assistance in 1941 follow Hitler’s invasion of the Soviet Union in violation of the Ribbentrop-Molotov agreement of 1939. This assistance helped to prop up the Soviet regime, and it was offered precisely because many Western intellectuals and politicians, including Wallace and many officials within the United States Department of State, looked upon “international socialism” with great fondness and admiration.
This Western sympathy for Bolshevism was noted and denounced by Dr. Aleksandr I. Solzhenitsyn in the commencement address that he gave at Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, on June 8, 1978:
I have had occasion already to say that in the 20th century democracy has not won any major war without help and protection from a powerful continental ally whose philosophy and ideology it did not question. In World War II against Hitler, instead of winning that war with its own forces, which would certainly have been sufficient, Western democracy grew and cultivated another enemy who would prove worse and more powerful yet, as Hitler never had so many resources and so many people, nor did he offer any attractive ideas, or have such a large number of supporters in the West -- a potential fifth column -- as the Soviet Union. At present, some Western voices already have spoken of obtaining protection from a third power against aggression in the next world conflict, if there is one; in this case the shield would be China. But I would not wish such an outcome to any country in the world. First of all, it is again a doomed alliance with Evil; also, it would grant the United States a respite, but when at a later date China with its billion people would turn around armed with American weapons, America itself would fall prey to a genocide similar to the one perpetrated in Cambodia in our days. (A World Split Apart.)
Perhaps more importantly than anything else, however, Stalin’s NKVD (later KGB) placed well-groomed candidates into Catholic seminaries here in the United States of America and elsewhere in the supposedly “free” world, especially after World War I and during the height of the Great Depression in 1930s:
Mrs. Bella Dodd, who was an important member of Communist Party of the United States of American (CPUSA) before being baptized conditionally into the Faith in 1952 at the hands of Monsignor Fulton J. Sheen, explained how she herself had planned and implemented the infiltration of Communist agents into the Catholic Church in the 1930s and 1940s. The material below was published in Inside the Vatican, which is a publication of Dr. Robert Moynihan, a sedeplenist (the seat is filled), on September 1, 2018:
“In the late 1920s and 1930s, I personally put eleven hundred men into the priesthood in order to weaken the Catholic Church from within.
“The idea was for these men to be ordained and progress to positions of influence and authority as Monsignors and Bishops…
“Right now they are in the highest places where they are working to bring about change in order to weaken the Church’s effectiveness against Communism.
“These changes will be so drastic that you will not even recognize the Catholic Church.
“Of all the world’s religions, the Catholic Church was the only one feared by the Communists, for it was its only effective opponent.
“The whole idea was to destroy, not the institution of the Church, but rather the faith of the people, and even use the institution of the Church, if possible, to destroy the faith through the promotion of a pseudo-religion.
“Something that resembled Catholicism but was not the real thing.
“Once the faith was destroyed, there would be a guilt complex introduced into the Church… to label the ‘Church of the past’ as being oppressive, authoritarian, full of prejudices, arrogant in claiming to be the sole possessor of truth, and responsible for the divisions of religious bodies throughout the centuries.
“This would be necessary in order to shame Church leaders into an ‘openness to the world,’ and to a more flexible attitude toward all religions and philosophies. The Communists would then exploit this openness in order to undermine the Church.” (taken from Dr. Bella Dodd, lecture at Fordham University in 1953) (Inside the the Vatican Newsflash Letter: Some Enemy Has Done This.)
Researcher Stephanie Block published an article in 2018 containing the testimony of another Communist Party of the United States of America defector, Manning Johnson, that was given to the United States House of Representatives’ Committee on Un-American Activities:
“Once the tactic of infiltrating religious organizations was set by the Kremlin, the actual mechanics of implementing the ‘new line’ was a question of following the general experiences of the living church movement in Russia where the Communists discovered that the destruction of religion could proceed much faster through infiltration of the church by Communist agents operating within the church itself.
The Communist leadership in the United States realized that the infiltration tactic in this country would have to adapt itself to American conditions and the religious makeup peculiar to this country. In the earliest stages it was determined that with only small forces available it would be necessary to concentrate Communist agents in the seminaries and divinity schools. The practical conclusion, drawn by the Red leaders was that these institutions would make it possible for a small Communist minority to influence the ideology of future clergymen in the paths most conducive to Communist purposes.”
In general, the idea was to divert the emphasis of clerical thinking from the spiritual to the material and political — by political, of course, is meant politics based on the Communist doctrine of conquest of power. Instead of emphasis towards the spiritual and matters of the soul, the new and heavy emphasis was to deal with those matters which, in the main, led toward the Communist program of “immediate demands.”
The plan was to make the seminaries the neck of a funnel through which thousands of potential clergymen would issue forth, carrying with them, in varying degrees, an ideology and slant which would aid in neutralizing the anti-Communist character of the church and also to use the clergy to spearhead important Communist projects.
This policy was successful beyond even Communist expectations. The combination of Communist clergymen, clergymen with a pro-Communist ideology, plus thousands of clergymen who were sold the principle of considering Communist causes as progressive, within 20 years, furnished the Soviet apparatus with a machine which was used as a religious cover for the overall Communist operation ranging from immediate demands to actually furnishing aid in espionage and outright treason.”
In the early 1930’s the Communists instructed thousands of their members to rejoin their ancestral religious groups and to operate in cells designed to take control of churches for Communist purposes. This method was not only propounded, but was executed with great success among large elements of American church life. Communists operating a double-pronged infiltration, both through elements of Communist-controlled clergy, and Communist-controlled laymen, managed to pervert and weaken entire stratas of religious life in the United States.
Communists in churches and other religious organizations were instructed to utilize the age-old tradition of the sanctity of the church as a cover for their own dastardly deeds. Through Reds in religion, we have a true living example of the old saying: “The Devil doth quote the Scripture.”
The Communists learned that the clergyman under their control served as a useful “respectable face” for most of their front activities. In this way the name of religion was used to spearhead the odious plots hatched by the agents of anti-religious Soviet communism.” (emphasis added) (Stephanie Block, The Marxist Core of the Catholic Campaign for Human Development.)
We have seen the results of this infiltration all too clearly as the seeds planted in the 1920s and 1930s produced priests and bishops who trained others and came of age during the “Second” Vatican Council after having engineered the “election” of a fellow traveler, Angelo Roncalli, on October 28, 1958, the Feasts of Saints Simon and Jude. Jorge Mario Bergoglio is simply the end product of such global infiltration.
In like manner, therefore, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began exploiting Western naivete about its intentions immediately after the “ping pong diplomacy” of 1971 resulted in President Richard Milhous Nixon’s trip to the so-called “People’s Republic of China a year later and the Shanghai Communique at the trip’s conclusion on February 27, 1972:
Yet it is, of course, that none of this matters to the titans of the multinational corporations that have made hundreds of billions of dollars by shifting American manufacturing plants and jobs to Red China since President Richard Milhous Nixon and Red Chinese Premier Chou Enlai announced the Shanghai Communique on February 27, 1972:Both sides view bilateral trade as another area from which mutual benefit can be derived, and agreed that economic relations based on equality and mutual benefit are in the interest of the people of the two countries. They agree to facilitate the progressive development of trade between their two countries. (Shanghai Communique, February 27, 1972. Shanghai Communique.)
Yes, the infamous population-controller himself, President Richard Milhous Nixon (see Poster Boy of Modernity), who was playing the “China Card” against the Soviet Union when he visited Red China from February 21, 1972, to February 28, 1972, that resulted in the aforementioned "Shanghai Communique,” was the one who started the process of “normalizing” diplomatic relations, a process completed by the Great Appeaser, James Earl Carter, Jr., on December 15, 1978.
As noted just above, an important part of the Shanghai Communique was the beginning of commercial ties between the United States of America and the “People’s Republic of China.” Those who supported the sellout of the Republic of China on Taiwan and the beginning of commercial ties with the Chicoms said repeatedly that Red China would become “democratized” over the course of time. This is the same delusion that led some "conservatives" to look favorably upon Barack Hussein Obama/Barry Soetoro's efforts to normalize relations with the murderous Castro regime of Cuba, efforts that were brokered by Jorge the Red Himself, the Great Appeaser of all that is false, ugly and evil in the world today.
What drove the American opening to Red China fifty-two years ago was not a quest for "liberty." It was a quest for dollars, and since that time multinational corporations have partnered with the Chicoms to exploit Chinese workers, most of whom work for amounts from fifty cents to a dollar an hour in substandard working conditions as they manufacture products filled with a veritable panoply of toxins and slipshod materials.
As was the case when the thirteen English colonies up and down the Atlantic Ocean seaboard in the Seventeenth and Eighteenth Centuries, the career politicians, bankers, industrialists and other titans of industry, trade and commerce have engineered a situation that has created a new mercantile system based upon the shipment of this country's grain, meat, produce and other raw materials (e.g. cotton and lumber) to be shipped to Red China in order to be produced in final products that are then imported back to the United States of America as Red Chinese laborers work for low wages in wretched conditions and bankers and titans of commerce and industry make lots and lots of money.
The Shanghai Communique thus started the process of outsourcing American industry as Chicom controlled investors purchased land, including large amounts of farm land, here in the United States of America and of influencing American officials (Chinagate during the administration of William Jefferson Blythe and Albert Arnold Gore) at every level of government imaginable, including the executive chamber of two different governors of the State of New York, Andrew Mark Cuomo and Kathleen Hochul:
China has made a complete fool out of Gov. Kathy Hochul (and former Gov. Andrew Cuomo, too), per a new indictment of one of their top aides on espionage charges by US Attorney Breon Peace.
Shouldn’t Hochul be screaming at the top of her lungs — and demanding strong federal action against Beijing?
Heck, the Harris-Biden administration shouldn’t even need prodding: China placed an agent in the Executive Chamber of New York state government. Doesn’t that merit the expulsion of key Chinese officials, at the least?
Where else are China’s spies operating?
Linda Sun, a former top aide to Hochul who’d also worked for Cuomo, faces federal charges, along with husband Chris Hu, of violating the Foreign Agents Registration Act, visa fraud, alien smuggling and money-laundering conspiracy.
“While appearing to serve the people of New York as deputy chief of staff within the New York State executive chamber, the defendant and her husband actually worked to further the interests of the Chinese government,” charged Peace. “The illicit scheme enriched the defendant’s family to the tune of millions of dollars.”
Sun acted “at the request” of Chinese officials and the Chinese Communist Party in “numerous political activities” — blocking Taiwanese representatives from meeting with top state officials, changing state messages to please Beijing, obtaining proclamations for Chinese representatives without authorization and arranging meetings for Chinese delegations.
In return, Sun and Hu got millions from Beijing, using the funds to buy homes now valued at a whopping $6.2 million, cars (including a 2024 Ferrari) and other items.
Clearly, China sees officials like Kamala Harris, Joe Biden and Hochul as pushovers: Remember when Beijing sent a spy balloon across America — with nary a peep from Biden-Harris?
Alas, don’t expect them to do anything different this time.
Hochul, incidentally, ignored warnings about CCP influence operations.
Despite media reports about the Sino-American Friendship Association’s ties to the CCP, for instance, senior Hochul aide Elaine Fan last year attended “An Evening of Chinese Culture” sponsored by the group and the Mets, National Review’s Jimmy Quinn reported.
The feds had warned local officials that China seeks relationships with them to promote its agenda, noting that locals “risk being manipulated” by CCP “influence operations” and calling them “deceptive and coercive.”
And China’s agenda is indisputably evil: Beijing has persecuted and murdered Uyghurs, threatened its Pacific neighbors, repressed its own people and even targeted foes on US soil.
Yet Hochul has bragged of the “beautiful relationship between our countries,” calling them “amazing partners” with whom “we continue to work together collaboratively.”
Chinese Consul-General Huang Ping — a CCP hardliner who the feds say oversees organized harassment of critics here and who appears to be PRC Official-1 in the indictment — even praised Hochul as an “old friend,” per Quinn.
No wonder one of her top aides allegedly got away with spying for China.
Nor is there much doubt Biden and Harris will remain mute about it, emboldening the Chinese Communists to grow even more aggressive.
Blame their naiveté — or that trademark Biden-Harris fear of escalation; either way, the prospects for America are terrifying. (With Kathy Hochul's China-friendly view, it's no wonder a CCP 'spy' worked for her.)
Most Americans are entierly aware of the extent to which a hostile power, the so-called People's Republic of China, has embeded its agents throughout bureaucratic and political appartus here in the United States of America. The Chinese espionage efforts include having "police stations" located within this country to question native-born Americans of Chinese descent as well as Chinese nationals who have emigrated to this country legally and have gained American citizenship through the regular process of naturalization. These Chicom operatives have acted with a free hand in the "land of the free" and, according to New York State Assemblyman Ron Kim, tried to use their influence to defeat him in a Democratic Party primary this year because he is an outspoken critic of Red China and its brtual policies:
Queens state Assemblyman Ron Kim says groups tied to the Chinese Community Party tried to topple him and steal his predominantly Asian-populated seat in the June Democratic primary.
“There were clear patterns of foreign influence trying to dictate the outcome of the election — groups with ties to mainland China and the CCP [Chinese Communist Party]. They were trying to steal the Flushing seat,” Kim told The Post.
“It’s a very layered operation. We’re entering dangerous territory. I don’t know how we can stop it,” he said.
Kim, a Korean-American, is speaking out after the stunning arrest of Linda Sun, a former top aide to Govs. Kathy Hochul and Andrew Cuomo.
Sun, along with her husband, Christopher Hu, is charged with being an unregistered agent for the CCP in exchange for millions of dollars in kickbacks and laundering the illicit money to buy a $4.1 million mansion in Manhasset, LI, a $2 million posh Honolulu condo and a fleet of luxury cars, including a 2024 Ferrari Roma.
Kim’s Dem opponent in the 40th District’s primary race, upstart Yi Andy Chen, was endorsed by the American Chinese Commerce Association. The association is a group identified as linked to the CCP and John Chan, a Chinese-American activist and chairman of the group with reportedly close ties to the People’s Republic of China and its Consulate General office in New York.
Kim, who was first elected in 2012, won his tough primary battle by 443 votes.
The CCP’s influence-flexing in New York’s growing Asian communities has been whispered about in recent years, but people feared going on the record to avoid being targeted by the powerful foreign government known to monitor its critics abroad, sources said.
“It’s a scary thing,” Kim said of speaking out against the CCP.
He said an overwhelming majority of Chinese and other Asians move here to flee communism and authoritarianism for a better life and are patriotic Americans.
“The majority of Asia groups are loyal to American business and American capital,” Kim said.
But “there is a new wave of organizations tied to the CCP that are not loyal to our way of life,” he said.
The state pol recalled one unsettling related incident a few years ago.
He said that over the years, he would pass a resolution commemorating the United States’ relationship with Taiwan. Taiwan has governed itself independently from China since 1949, but China still views the island as part of its territory and wants to unify it with the mainland. Relations between the two remain extremely tense.
But Kim said that when Cuomo was governor, the assemblyman was contacted by someone in the gubernatorial office who told him the “Chinese consul general was upset” with his resolution.
Kim said he did not know if the message was being conveyed by Linda Sun but either way, “I was stunned.”
Kim said he knew Linda Sun well but declined to publicly discuss her criminal case.
Sun previously worked for Congresswoman Grace Meng of Queens when Meng served in the state Assembly. Meng did not endorse Kim during the primary.
In November, John Chan — who chairs Videos showed anti-Xi protesters attacked with flagpoles and chemical spray and pummeled by pro-Xi CCP supporters, the Washington Post reported.
A month later, Chan sponsored a small group of New York Assembly Republicans to take a trip to China to meet CCP leaders, a jaunt organized with first-term GOP Brooklyn Assemblyman Lester Chang. The trip raised eyebrows in political circles.
Chan works closely with the Chinese Consul General, and he is listed under a section of China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ website touting the contributions of state-linked and “Chinese-funded” overseas institutions, the Washington Post said.
the American Chinese Commerce Association — led an effort to drown out the cries of protesters in San Francisco who were awaiting the arrival of Chinese President Xi Jinping and claimed their relatives had been harmed by the Chinese government, according to the Washington Post and San Francisco Standard. The move on part of China was seen as trying to crack down on dissent even overseas.
Chan told a Chinese-language radio journalist at APEC that he was an organizer of the show of support for Xi.
Chan did not return a Post phone call or text for comment.
There was no answer at the Consulate of the People’s Republic of China in New York. (Chinese Communist Party tried to 'steal' NY Assembly seat, Queens pol Ron Kim claims just days after ex-Hochul aide's arrest as foreign agent.)
Thuggery works in Red China, and it works here in the United States of America.
As is well known, though, the Red Chinese efforts to influence American policy-makers go to the very top. As recounted in a report from nine months ago, it must be remembered in this regard that the “Big Guy,” Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr., and his son, Hunter Biden, sold themselves to Chicom “investors” without any regard to compromising national security and emboldening those intent on taking over the Western world without firing a shot or launching a single nuclear-armed missile:
A business operated by Hunter Biden made monthly payments to President Joe Biden, House Committee on Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer said Monday.
To back up his words, Comer released a partially redacted September 2018 bank record he said was subpoenaed by the committee that showed $1,318 flowing from Owaso PC to Joe Biden. The money in the Owasco PC account had its origins in China.
A release on the committee’s page noted that “Hunter Biden is currently under an investigation by the Department of Justice for using the Owasco PC corporate account for tax evasion and other serious crimes.”
The release added that “Hunter Biden’s business account, Owasco PC, received payments from Chinese-state-linked companies and other foreign nationals and companies.”
The release alleged that the bank records are proof Joe Biden was involved in his son’s businesses, despite Joe Biden’s past denials, saying they are “part of a pattern revealing Joe Biden knew about, participated in, and benefited from his family’s influence-peddling schemes.”
The committee posted a video to X in which Comer sought to explain the panel’s finding.
“President Joe Biden claimed there was an 'absolute wall' between his official government duties and his family’s influence-peddling schemes. This was a lie,” Comer said.
“President Joe Biden claimed his family didn’t receive money from China. This was a lie. President Joe Biden claimed he never spoke to his son, Hunter Biden, about the Biden family’s shady business dealings. This was a lie,” Comer added.
“Now, Hunter Biden’s legal team and the White House’s media allies claim Hunter’s corporate entities never made payments directly to Joe Biden. We can officially add this latest talking point to the list of lies,” Comer said, referring to the subpoenaed bank records.
“This wasn’t a payment from Hunter Biden’s personal account but an account for his corporation that received payments from China and other shady corners of the world,” Comer said.
“We’ve revealed how Joe Biden received checks from his family that were funded by the Bidens’ influence peddling schemes -- with China no less. The House Oversight Committee continues to investigate Joe Biden’s involvement in his family’s domestic and international business schemes at a rapid pace,” Comer said.
Last week, the panel released an email from a bank investigator who noted concerns over money coming to Hunter Biden from China, according to a release on the website of the House Oversight Committee.
“Long before our investigation into President Biden’s corruption, a bank money laundering investigator raised the exact concerns that we raised publicly about the Biden family business,” Comer said in the release.
The panel released the redacted text of the June 2018 email on its website.
“These payments were Indicated as management reimbursements. We find It unusual that approximately 58% of the funds were transferred to the law firm In a few months and the frequency of payments appear erratic. It was also previously indicated that HUDSON WEST III LLC does not currently have any investment projects at this time, which raises further concerns as millions in fees are being paid but does not appear to have any services rendered by Owasco PC,” the bank official wrote.
Referencing “recent negative news” indicating “China targeting children of politicians and purchase of political Influence through ‘sweetheart deals.’” The official noted, “Hunter Biden's $1.5 billion dollar deal with the Chinese-State to establish a private-equity firm in which they manage the funds over time and make huge fees” before concluding that “the activity on the account appears unusual with no current business purpose.” (Just-Released Bank Records Show Joe Biden Received Monthly Payments from Hunter's Business Entity.)
No, nothing will ever happen to President in Name Only Biden and his equally shameless son for their betrayals of legitimate American national security interests in exchange for ready cash. Nothing in this life, that is.
Former United States Secretary of State Michael Pompeo explained the extent to which the Chinese Communist Party has infiltrated the United States of America:
For years I have warned that the Chinese Communist Party has been working to infiltrate America’s society and government at every level.
The safety and sovereignty of our nation depends on our ability to counter this threat.
That is the exact message I brought to the National Governors Association as secretary of state in 2020 — an association chaired by then-New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
It appears that neither Cuomo nor his successor, Gov. Hochul, took my warnings seriously.
This week, Linda Sun, an aide who had served in the offices of both governors, was charged with acting as an agent of the Chinese Communist Party.
In the unsealed indictment, it was revealed that Sun and her husband had received millions in laundered cash from the Chinese Communist Party and, in return, “worked to further the interests of the Chinese government and the CCP.”
Among her many treasonous activities, Sun had worked to block Taiwanese officials from being able to contact the governor’s office since 2016, ensured content in speeches and press releases accorded with CCP-approved language, granted CCP officials access to high-level state government discussions such as COVID response efforts and even personally participated — in the capacity of a senior New York state official — in the CCP-organized protest against the democratically-elected president of Taiwan, who was visiting New York City.
While these details may come as a shock to some, this is exactly how the CCP operates. Beijing seeks to influence every level of our society, from the federal government to universities, to state senates and even PTA meetings.
We cannot treat this threat as something that is far away, across a vast ocean. The CCP is inside the gates.
I saw this firsthand during my time as secretary of state in the Trump administration.
Confucius Institutes had proliferated on college campuses across our country, spreading the CCP’s propaganda to our younger generations.
We stopped nearly all of it by designating the Confucius Institute program a foreign mission — although we only scratched the surface in combatting Beijing’s influence operations within our universities.
We placed the same designation on the National Association for China’s Peaceful Unification, a group that answers to the CCP-controlled United Front Work Department and coordinates “Sister City” programs with metropolitan areas all over America and the world.
We also shut down the largest espionage effort in US history when we closed down the CCP’s consulate in Houston, from which CCP agents had been coordinating massive levels of industrial espionage and intellectual property theft.
Asleep on the job
This commitment to keeping America safe from CCP infiltration has been woefully neglected by the Biden-Harris administration.
Early last year, a Chinese spy balloon was allowed to traverse the continental US before finally being shot down off the coast of South Carolina.
The Biden-Harris administration did not hold the CCP accountable.
Inexplicably, the Biden-Harris White House also shut down the China Initiative, an anti-espionage program started in the Trump administration focused solely on the CCP’s malign activities.
And the open southern border has allowed tens of thousands of Chinese nationals — many of them military-aged males — to cross into our country illegally with no real safeguards.
Last year, Biden welcomed CCP Chairman Xi Jinping to San Francisco with open arms, feting him as if he were a conquering king.
We now know that in the days surrounding that conference, Chinese diplomats were also working with pro-CCP diaspora groups here in the US to intimidate, harass, and silence Americans who protested Xi Jinping’s policies — many of whom were first-, second- or third-generation Chinese-American immigrants who know better than anyone just how wicked the CCP truly is.
As for Kamala Harris, you can count on one hand the number of times she has mentioned the Chinese Communist Party on the campaign trail.
She won’t dare say a bad word about China.
The American people should ask why.
The truth is that Biden, Harris, Hochul and other progressive leaders dominating the left live in a fantasy world.
They believe that the US relationship with the CCP should be based on mutual understanding, fair competition and cooperation around issues like climate change.
This is a dangerous delusion that gives the CCP all the room it needs to infiltrate our government and society.
America will only be secure if our relationship with China is centered on the understanding of the CCP’s ideological hostility toward America, on transparency and reciprocity.
If American entities cannot buy land in China next to a Chinese military base, we should not allow it to happen here.
If American firms must consent to technology transfers and CCP overwatch to do business in China, it should not be so easy for Chinese firms to do business here.
If our diplomats cannot freely and privately communicate with Chinese citizens, we should have no tolerance whatsoever for CCP officials doing the same with American citizens.
The list goes on and on.
We are throwing our gates open to our enemies. It has to stop, and it will only stop if we elect leaders at all levels of our government — starting with Donald Trump — who see this threat clearly and will keep America free and safe. (White House put blinders on as China infiltrated our government.)
The Chinese Communist Party has not only sought to embed itself in American social life by the use of various front organizations whose members cultivate relationships with politicians and career bureaucrats but has extended to requiring American-based multinational corporations to place Xi Jinping supporters on the boards of their Chinese affiliates as well as developing extensive files on American coporate executives to know when, how, and where to put pressure upon them to the CCP's bidding, up to and including knowing where the children of these executives go to school:
China’s government has positioned itself to embed “Communist Party spies” at Microsoft and other US companies that do business in the country — and further expose them to theft of trade secrets, employee poaching and even scary intimidation tactics, The Post has learned.
A new version of Beijing’s “company law” that took effect July 1 — a clampdown that has seen scant coverage in the Western press, according to experts — requires multinational firms with more than 300 workers in the country to appoint an “employee representative” to their China affiliate’s board of directors.
Sources tell The Post that the “representatives” are almost certain to be in regular contact with Chinese authorities — if not outright members of the Chinese Communist Party. That, in turn, would give Beijing a direct line into the sensitive internal workings of American firms.
The new rules, which can alternatively require that companies adopt a local supervisory board for workers, could also give the CCP frightening tools to exert control over US companies’ employees, according to US officials.
“They can tell a [Chinese intelligence] agent, ‘This is the person you need to talk to. If you want to coerce them, here’s who they are,’” a House aide briefed on the law told The Post. “’I have access to employee data. This is their wife. This is where they live. This is where the kid goes to school.’”
Corporate spies for Beijing could likewise seek to infiltrate confidential meetings or even facilitate intellectual property theft by telling an employee to put a flash drive into a particular computer, said the House aide, who asked not to be identified.
Directors spying for the CCP could gain dangerous knowledge of a company’s “pressure points” should the authorities wish to exploit them, the source said.
The new laws also include stricter “registered capital” requirements for company executives and greater liability for officers in cases of misconduct or negligence.
It’s the latest effort by President Xi Jinping’s government to exert more control over foreign businesses, according to Paul Rosenzweig, a former Homeland Security deputy assistant secretary.
“In the past, they’ve done so in ways that I would characterize as external — that is, government acting upon a corporation,” said Rosenzweig. “Now they’re adding an internal control, an employee representative. If you wanted to be ungenerous, you could call him a Communist Party spy.”
While China’s corporate law overhaul applies to many companies, Microsoft has been in the spotlight — not only because it has more than 10,000 employees working there, but because its software is deeply embedded in America’s critical infrastructure.
Last year, a China-based group brazenly hacked the Microsoft email accounts of Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo and several other US officials.
Microsoft, which declined to comment for this article, has expanded operations in China even as other Big Tech firms like Google and Meta have dialed down their presence in the region. The company has sought to downplay China-related security concerns.
When asked by Rep. Carlos Gimenez (R-Fla.) in June if the company follows a 2017 law requiring companies to cooperate with the CCP’s intelligence services, Microsoft executive Brad Smith said no — and hinted that the company was somehow exempt.
“There are two types of countries in the world. Those that apply every law they enact, and those who enact certain laws but don’t always apply them. And in this context, China, and that law, is in the second category,” Smith said.
Gimenez was unconvinced by Smith’s explanation — and told The Post that he is particularly concerned about China’s revised company law.
“Sooner rather than later, all of these corporations are going to find that they’re going to be absorbed into the CCP and into China,” Gimenez said. “The sooner they start to extricate themselves from China, the better they’re going to be, but also the better America is going to be.”
As The Post has reported, US lawmakers have warned Microsoft that its cozy relationship with China poses a national security risk — especially as the company pursues advanced artificial intelligence.
Microsoft has reportedly considered shutting down a pair of AI labs in China over perceived risks — including concerns that China could hack the facilities, steal sensitive technology or poach key employees to build its own rival firms.
The corporate law is one method through which China “could put pressure on them to keep the AI lab,” according to the House aide.
“More realistically, they’re not going to do that. What they’re going to do is just steal all the data, every single bit of data,” the aide added.
Rep. John Moolenaar (R-Mich.), chairman of House Select Committee on China, said in a statement that there is “no such thing as a private company in China.”
“I caution all Americans conducting business in China — the Chinese Communist Party will settle for nothing less than complete control at your expense,” Moolenaar added. “‘Worker representatives’ are a blatant attempt by the CCP to embed Party officials in U.S. companies.”
Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) said Congress has “long known that Beijing will steal confidential business information and technology from companies operating in China.”
“Beijing’s latest move which will likely embed CCP officials further into companies shows how far the government’s grasp extends,” Blackburn told The Post.
The board representative clause is “certainly another risk factor” for Western firms, according to Jonathan Bench, an expert on Chinese corporate law and partner at Harris Sliwoski.
“I absolutely expect CCP members to be chosen by ‘democratic election’ in which employees vote,” Bench said. “And where a CCP member is not directly chosen, the designated employee representative will certainly be reporting in detail to one or more CCP cadres inside or outside the company — or both.”
It’s unlikely that Microsoft or other firms like it will be able to dodge the law, according to Bench.
“I do not see any way around this legal requirement,” Bench added.
Some experts argue that concerns about China’s corporate law shakeup are overblown.
Adam Channer, a lawyer at Kirton McConkie with expertise in international investment, said the employee director rule would be a “clumsy tool” to enable CCP oversight of Western businesses — and noted the law, as written, does not require the director to be a CCP member.
The bigger issue, according to Derek Scissors, chief economist of the China Beige Book, is that US firms like Microsoft have “voluntarily subjected themselves to a completely warped and discriminatory market.”
“The company law will be interpreted in whatever way the CCP deems fit at the time, so none of the revisions matter,” said Scissors. (China poised to embed 'Communist Party spies' inside US firms — including Microsoft, critics warn.)
Many leaders of multinational corporations have been more than willing to do the bidding of the Red Chinese government. Indeed, many, including in the so-called entertainment industry, have been obsequious in this regard, and this is to say nothing about how those in the so-called "public health" sector follow the Red Chinese lead concerning the Wuhan Virus that leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology nearly five years ago.
However, the Red Chinese threat to the United States of America is more than political or monetary as its property holdings in this country, although somewhat reduced from what they were a few years ago, are still extensive and its use of the Confucius Institute to propagandize in behalf of Red China and Communism in the name of “diversity” and “tolerance” is at one and the same time a means of intelligence-gathering and brainwashing, much of which is funded by multinational corporations that are heavily invested in Red China and whose leaders serve as ready lackeys to the Chicom thugs.
Here is a bit of reminder about the dangers of the Confucius Institute, which, as Secretary Pompeo noted in his column above, was shut down by the administration of former President Donald John Trump but could well reopen again if Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Governor Timothy James Walz, who is just an outright stooge of the Chinese Communist Pary, win the presidential election on Tuesday, November 5, 2024:
China is waging a global propaganda war in an attempt to silence overseas critics, while it has unleashed the most repressive crackdown on internal dissent since the Tiananmen Square massacre 30 years ago.
Footsoldiers in this war include Chinese state media reporters, diplomats and students studying overseas, recruited to do the bidding of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The most recent example has been the debate by the London School of Economics over whether to adjust the depiction of Taiwan on a sculpture, after complaints from Chinese students.
s weapons include political infiltration and influence, a global media outfit, threats and aggression towards activists abroad, an attempt to hijack and derail the human rights agenda at the United Nations, and — as some are slowly realising — deploying hundreds of innocuous-sounding language and culture institutions embedded in universities and schools.
China’s Confucius Institutes, which on the surface appear to be simply an equivalent of the British Council, American Centre, Alliance Francaise or Germany’s Goethe Institutes, are now present in at least 548 universities and 1,193 schools in 154 countries, according to the 2017 Confucius Institute’s Annual Development Report, which also notes that with a US$314 million budget, 46,200 teachers and 1.7 million students, China aims to have 1,000 Confucius Institutes by 2020 in what it calls a “Confucius revolution.”
South Korea opened the world’s first Confucius Institute in 2004, and it now has 23, the most in Asia. Thailand, second in the region, has 16 Confucius Institutes, while Japan has 15. Indonesia has seven and India, Pakistan, the Philippines and Malaysia have four, but Confucius Institutes also exist in Singapore, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Mongolia, Hong Kong, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam.
Britain has at least 29, the second-largest number in the world after the United States, in major universities such as Edinburgh, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham, Cardiff and University College London, along with 148 Confucius “classrooms” in schools around the country.
onfucius Institutes purport to teach Chinese language and culture, which is surely welcome. As China takes its place as a world superpower, we need to understand its history and culture, and we need more people to speak the language.
But scratch the surface and you find that it is not all they do. They also represent a potential threat to academic freedom and freedom of expression in educational institutions and democracies.
About 12 years ago, the CCP’s propaganda chief at the time, Li Changchun, described Confucius Institutes as “an important part of China’s overseas propaganda set-up.” In 2010, Xu Lin, director-general of a unit of China’s education ministry known as the Hanban, confirmed that the party wanted to expand its influence and Confucius Institutes were an important part of China’s soft power.
Confucius Institutes are directly controlled, funded and staffed by the Hanban, which is currently chaired by Sun Chunlan, a Politburo member who previously headed the United Front Work Department, the party’s principal propaganda outfit.
China’s propaganda minister Liu Yunshan said in 2010 that “overseas propaganda should be comprehensive, multi-level and wide-ranging… We should do well in establishing and operating overseas cultural centres and Confucius Institutes.”
Even President Hu Jintao, Xi Jinping’s predecessor, endorsed the institutes as a way “to cultivate and prepare a group (or army) of people to make sure the CCP will be in power in the future… and increase our CCP influence around the world.”
arlier this year Britain’s Conservative Party Human Rights Commission published a report based on an inquiry into Confucius Institutes. It draws on evidence from experts, and from the documentary film In the Name of Confucius, and its conclusion is that Confucius Institutes threaten academic freedom and freedom of expression, and represent — as the CCP itself says — an endeavour by the Chinese regime to spread its propaganda and suppress its critics beyond its borders.
his conclusion is consistent with that reached by the U.S. Congress, the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and intelligence agencies in Canada and Belgium.
In 2018, the CIA cautioned against offers of Chinese funding to universities in exchange for academic censorship, and the director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) told the Senate Intelligence Committee that Confucius Institutes were under investigation.
Congress has introduced legislation strengthening requirements for transparency of foreign funding for universities, and requiring Confucius Institutes to register with the Department of Justice as agents of the Chinese government.
Canada’s former Asia-Pacific intelligence chief Michael Juneau-Katsuya claims that Confucius Institutes are linked to China’s intelligence services and “represent a clear and undeniable menace to our society.”
Confucius Institutes have one common theme: the total suppression of discussion of three topics beginning with “T” — Tiananmen, Tibet and Taiwan.
Rachelle Peterson, policy director of the U.S.-based National Association of Scholars, says that Confucius Institutes represent a “subversive political agenda overseen by the Chinese government,” while Nottingham Trent University lecturer Tao Zhang says that they “are strategically located in various foreign universities, allowing the Chinese authorities to gain a foothold for the exercise of control over the study of China.”
They are, she adds, “an extension of the Chinese education system, directly controlled by the state and having the same ideological and propaganda roles as schools and universities in China.”
Examples abound of universities withdrawing invitations to controversial speakers under pressure from China or removing certain publications.
In 2014, at a European Association for Chinese Studies conference in Portugal, Hanban director-general Xu Lin confiscated all the printed programmes and ordered pages advertising a Taiwanese co-sponsor to be removed.
Similarly, a book published by a Confucius Institute completely censored an entire section about Chinese dissident Wu Lihong’s environmental activism in a chapter by China expert Isabel Hilton. Invitations to the Dalai Lama have been withdrawn or moved off campus.
Discrimination against personal beliefs
Perhaps most chilling is the alleged discrimination in hiring practices in Confucius Institutes. According to the National Association of Scholars, Hanban eligibility criteria for Confucius Institute teachers has included that they should “have no record of participation in Falun Gong.”
Sonia Zhao, a Chinese teacher who practised Falun Gong, a Buddha-school spiritual movement, was employed by Hanban and sent to the Confucius Institute at McMaster University in Canada.
Prior to going to Canada, she was given a three-month training course in Beijing. “We were told to tell the students that there is only one China, Taiwan is part of China… Tibet is part of China… We were told not to talk about issues like Taiwan and Tibet,” she says.
“We also had to sign a contract. In the contract, it says that ‘we can’t be Falun Gong practitioners’… This contract takes effect in all Confucius Institutes in all countries. This contract shows discrimination against teachers’ personal beliefs and this is how they violate freedom of belief worldwide.”
In 2011, Sonia Zhao alerted McMaster University to these concerns. She was afraid that, if she admitted to being a Falun Gong practitioner, she would be punished. As a result of her complaint, McMaster University terminated its relationship with the Hanban and closed its Confucius Institute.
Since then, others have followed suit. At least 30 universities and one school board have or will cut ties with Confucius Institutes.
Confucius Institutes are by no means China’s only soft power tool. But when combined with the Chinese Students and Scholars Associations, they represent a powerful menace to academic freedom. They also serve to keep an eye on Chinese students studying abroad, who might otherwise find freedom of thought and expression appealing.
Prof. Christopher Hughes of the London School of Economics says in a paper on the subject that when the LSE opened a Confucius Institute in 2006, “Chinese students… revealed that they were disappointed to arrive at a foreign university only to discover that their own government had established an organisation on campus that made it feel as though they were still under the kind of surveillance that they had to live with in China.”
One student told Prof. Hughes that the Confucius Institute felt like closed-circuit television and “has the potential to scare away my critical thinking.”
So what should be done? Clearly, we cannot disengage with China. But as the UK’s House of Commons foreign affairs committee report published last week argues, we need to recalibrate our relationship and put national security first.
As part of that recalibration, we should be re-examining not only the balance of trade versus human rights, the security concerns around Huawei, and the questions of political influence, but also the question of Confucius Institutes.
know the pressure and fear,” says Sonia Zhao. “No one deserves that. I hope Confucius Institutes can be closed so that teachers can teach Chinese language freely and students can learn about the real China and Chinese culture, not the Chinese communists’ culture.”
If we are unwilling to go as far as to close Confucius Institutes just yet, we should at least consider measures similar to the US legislation — conduct a thorough review, suspend any new deals with Confucius Institutes until a review is complete, and ensure measures are in place to guarantee academic freedom and freedom of expression, non-discrimination and complete transparency of funding sources.
We would do well to remember the words of retired British diplomat Roger Garside, who says that “academic freedom is inherently compromised by permitting a state agency controlled by the Communist Party of China to establish a teaching operation in any school or university.”
Or, as Rachelle Peterson says, “there is a threat not only to the integrity of our institutions today but more importantly to the future of higher education and the future of all free countries.” That, surely, is a reason to act. (Overseas Chinese Confucius Institutes Pose Powerful Threat to Academic Freedom.)
Well, the Confucius Institutes could never have guaranteed the American concept of “academic freedom of expression” as they were nothing other than a means to propagate Communist ideology and a respect for Chinese “traditions,” starting with Confucianism, that was predicated upon a firm opposition of any displays of Christianity, including the Crucifix.) One of the first Confucius Institutes that closed was located at Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas, and it did so after two members of the United States of Representatives, Michael McCaul and Henry Cuellar, provided evidence that the Institute’s “scholars” had access to classified information that they, the Congressmen, did not have. In other words, the institutes are propaganda centers and spy joints.
Additionally, the Red Chinese, working in conjuction with their friends in the United Mexican States and its adjunct country, Canada (which is an ape of the Chicom model of governance for all intents and purposes), are working to kill off large numbers of people by means of the fentanyl that is chemical companies are important into the United States of America illegally:
A new report is shining the spotlight on the role that China plays in fueling the ongoing fentanyl crisis in the United States, calling for more action against the communist geopolitical foe from the federal government.
The Heritage Foundation released the report, a copy of which was obtained early by Fox News Digital, called "Holding China and Mexico Accountable for America’s Fentanyl Crisis."
The report, by Andrés Martínez-Fernández and Andrew J. Harding, noted the massive numbers of deaths linked to the drug, which can be fatal in small doses and is estimated to have killed 75,000 Americans in 2023.
"At the heart of this crisis is an intricate global partnership bringing together America’s top geopolitical adversary and powerful transnational criminal organizations," they said.
Officials have frequently said that illicit fentanyl is created in Mexico using Chinese precursors and is then smuggled across the border by drug cartels. It is often laced in other drugs so that users do not know they are ingesting fentanyl.
The authors argue that while the Mexican role in the crisis is widely known, the Chinese moves are largely unknown.
"Indeed, unknown to most Americans, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is actively funding, supporting, and pushing America’s most deadly drug threat in history. The combined forces of deadly Mexican drug cartels and hostile Chinese ambitions have delivered to the United States a destabilizing crisis and a death toll that each year eclipses the total of U.S. casualties from the Vietnam War," they wrote.
They note congressional reports that found the CCP directly subsidizes the manufacturing and export of illicit fentanyl materials, as well as a tax rebate program that actually incentivizes the export of some fentanyl precursors in a way the authors say undercuts Chinese claims that they cannot control illegal activities by smugglers and cannot identify which manufacturers are exporting them.
"It may also be possible that China might not have a full understanding of the specific precursor shipment volumes because it does not allocate a sufficient number of inspectors over its pharmaceutical chemical manufacturing industries," they wrote.
The report finds that chemicals are arriving through air cargo, postal facilities and maritime routes. The authors also point to reports of an increased Chinese role in networks in Canada.
The Biden administration has taken a number of moves to crack down on the fentanyl crisis, including greater access to treatment and increased funding and technology at ports of entry, where the majority of fentanyl is seized. The report notes that the Treasury has sanctioned dozens of individuals and entities involved with smuggling, and has used diplomacy to get China to pledge tougher action against suppliers.
However, the authors warned that those successes "are likely to ring hollow," arguing that China has historically used negotiations to get other concessions from the U.S.
"Furthermore, China’s announcements "don’t carry substantial costs for [its] chemicals industry," meaning, as long as suppliers can evade rules—which has been documented for years, the production of fentanyl precursors will continue to prove profitable," they continued. "If past patterns are repeated, then the Biden Administration’s fentanyl diplomacy is unlikely to curtail this deadly scourge."
The report also criticizes what it calls "complicity" between corrupt Mexican officials and narco-smugglers, arguing that the government has shed the pretext of going after the cartels.
The report recommends that the U.S. strategy must accept that it "lacks good-faith partners in both the Chinese and Mexican governments." Instead, they argue that the U.S. should ask U.S. intelligence agencies to publicly expose Chinese involvement in fentanyl trafficking, including increasing penalties for financial institutions.
They argue the U.S. should also facilitate the reshoring and nearshoring of the pharmaceutical supply chains away from China to areas with a competitive advantage, while also working to uncover Mexican "complicity" in the crisis.
"If the U.S. government continues to passively accept the fentanyl crisis as simply another illicit drug challenge and fails to prevent the CCP from facilitating this deadly trade, hundreds of thousands—if not millions—of Americans are at risk of losing their lives," they said. (New report sounds alarm on China's role in destroying US families with deadly drug: 'Destabilizing crisis'.)
No one wants to state the truth: the Communist takeover of China on October 1, 1949, was a work of the adversary and its government, although an established fact, is illegitimate. Many careerist politicians in the United States of America are heavily invested in Red China and derive a lot of their campaign donations from investors, bankers and corporate leaders who make their profits on the back of the Chicom slave laborers. No one wants to realize that there is more to life than the mammon of this world, and they are in for a rude awakening when the world that they know comes crashing down around them.
Dr. Aleksandr I. Solzhenitsyn put matters this way at the height of the Cold War in 1978 as he rebuked Richard Milhous Nixon and Henry Alfred Kissinger for their use of the “China Card” against the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics six years earlier:
I have had occasion already to say that in the 20th century Western democracy has not won any major war without help and protection from a powerful continental ally whose philosophy and ideology it did not question. In World War II against Hitler, instead of winning that war with its own forces, which would certainly have been sufficient, Western democracy grew and cultivated another enemy who would prove worse, as Hitler never had so many resources and so many people, nor did he offer any attractive ideas, or have a large number of supporters in the West as the Soviet Union. At present, some Western voices already have spoken of obtaining protection from a third power against aggression in the next world conflict, if there is one. In this case the shield would be China. But I would not wish such an outcome to any country in the world. First of all, it is again a doomed alliance with Evil; also, it would grant the United States a respite, but when at a later date China with its billion people would turn around armed with American weapons, America itself would fall prey to a genocide similar to the in Cambodia in our days.
And yet -- no weapons, no matter how powerful, can help the West until it overcomes its loss of willpower. In a state of psychological weakness, weapons become a burden for the capitulating side. To defend oneself, one must also be ready to die; there is little such readiness in a society raised in the cult of material well-being. Nothing is left, then, but concessions, attempts to gain time, and betrayal. Thus at the shameful Belgrade conference free Western diplomats in their weakness surrendered the line where enslaved members of Helsinki Watchgroups are sacrificing their lives.
Western thinking has become conservative: the world situation should stay as it is at any cost; there should be no changes. This debilitating dream of a status quo is the symptom of a society which has come to the end of its development. But one must be blind in order not to see that oceans no longer belong to the West, while land under its domination keeps shrinking. The two so-called world wars (they were by far not on a world scale, not yet) have meant internal self-destruction of the small, progressive West which has thus prepared its own end. The next war (which does not have to be an atomic one and I do not believe it will) may well bury Western civilization forever.
Facing such a danger, with such splendid historical values in your past, at such a high level of realization of freedom and of devotion to freedom, how is it possible to lose to such an extent the will to defend oneself?
How has this unfavorable relation of forces come about? How did the West decline from its triumphal march to its present sickness? Have there been fatal turns and losses of direction in its development? It does not seem so. The West kept advancing socially in accordance with its proclaimed intentions, with the help of brilliant technological progress. And all of a sudden it found itself in its present state of weakness.
This means that the mistake must be at the root, at the very basis of human thinking in the past centuries. I refer to the prevailing Western view of the world which was first born during the Renaissance and found its political expression from the period of the Enlightenment. It became the basis for government and social science and could be defined as rationalistic humanism or humanistic autonomy: the proclaimed and enforced autonomy of man from any higher force above him. It could also be called anthropocentricity, with man seen as the center of everything that exists. (Dr. Aleksandr I. Solzhenitysn, "A World Split Apart, June 6, 1978.)
This was very prescient, and while Solzhenitsyn, a Russian Orthodox nationalist who was opposed to the Catholic Church and who supported contraception as a means of “population control,” did not understand the glory of the Middle Ages, which he said had come to an end by repressing man’s material interests in favor of the supernatural, he was very correct in stating that the Renaissance paved the way for the false era of the Enlightenment and thus the triumph of human autonomy above all else. The triumph of “Man,” however, was accomplished principally as a result of the Protestant Revolution, which served as the bridge between the Renaissance and the so-called “Enlightenment,” and it is which this revolution that the conciliar revolutionaries themselves have made their “reconciliation” as they created a false religion that is centered on man, the deification of a created thing, the earth, and the belief that any “religion” or ideology, including Communism, that is devoted to “man” is good.” It is this false belief that was the foundation of Giovanni Battista Enrico Antonio Maria’s Ostpolitik that sold out the Primate of Hungary, the late Josef Cardinal Mindszenty and that Jorge Mario Bergoglio has been using anew to sell out the long suffering Catholics of the underground in Red China to do the bidding of the totalitarian Chicom baby-killers and has given the Chicoms a green light to round up faithful Catholics and to destroy their shrines and churches (see an article from January of this year on a website called “Bitter Winter, Persecution of Underground Catholic Goes On.)
A Long History of Mass Murder
Many American politicians who belong to the organized crime family of the false opposite of the naturalist “left” are sympathetic to the Red Chinese because they themselves desire to govern in the same totalitarian manner. Indeed, many of them, including Minnesota Governor Timothy James Walz, did precisely during that following the outbreak of the Wuhan Virus for which the Red Chinese government has never been held responsible. As noted researcher Peter Schweizer indicated, Walz has been groomed by the CCP to be its effective stooge here in the United States of America:
MARIA BARTIROMO: Do you believe that the Communist Party has been grooming Tim Walz?
PETER SCHWEIZER, PRESIDENT, GOVERNMENT ACCOUNTABILITY INSTITUTE: Oh, I think there's no question about it, Maria.
It goes back to the exchange program that he ran and brought hundreds of students from the United States to China. In the early press accounts, Tim Walz describes it as unique and unusual and different, a program that nobody else has. And at the same time that he's bringing those students there, by the students' accounting, Tim Walz is saying things like, well, in China, nobody is poor because everybody shares in China, as if sort of the compulsive arm of the CCP is voluntary, I mean, sharing is voluntary.
It's a ridiculous statement to make. There are other comments he made. He told students going to China to downplay their Americanness. There's an account from one student -- I haven't been able to independently verify it -- saying that he brought back lots of copies of Mao's "Little Red Book" when he was in China.
So this is a relationship that's longstanding and it carried forward when he joined Congress and the actions that he was taking in Congress as well.
BARTIROMO: This is very concerning. You also have notes on a meeting that he had with Premier Li in 2016.
SCHWEIZER: Yes, this is very interesting. He goes to China in 2016 with a few other Democrats. He recounts how he's meeting with Chinese officials and he says, oh, I was in China. I was here in China in December of 1989. And they said, no, it was February of 1990.
I mean, in other words, they had been tracking him when he was a young man. But in that meeting with Premier Li, it's a classic example and what the Chinese call big help with a little bad-mouth. Tim Walz has talked about the human rights condition in China, but it's never in the context of doing anything about it.
And during this meeting with Premier Li, he told Premier Li, well, don't look to the United States as an example of how to do this, because we don't know how to do it right either. Those are his descriptions of what he told Premier Li.
So it's this massive moral equivalence, which is exactly what China wants from the United States. Talk about human rights, but don't do anything about it, and also create this moral equivalence that the Chinese system is not any worse than ours. That is exactly what Tim Walz has done over the years. ( Peter Schweizer: Chinese Communist Party Has "Groomed" Tim Walz; "Big Help With A Little Bad-Mouth".)
Stooges such as Gavin Newsom, Kathleen Hochul, Nancy Patricia D’Alesandro Pelosi, and Timothy James Walz, among so many others, conveniently forget that suppression of political dissent, the indiscriminate arrest, torture, imprisonment of “enemies of the state” and constant surveillance of its citizens’ daily lives is what the Communist government has done since it took over China seventy-five years ago.
Indeed, Mao Tse-Tung’s “Great Leap Forward” killed forty-five million people in just four years (1958 to 1962)!:
Mao Zedong, founder of the People's Republic of China, qualifies as the greatest mass murderer in world history, an expert who had unprecedented access to official Communist Party archives said yesterday.
Speaking at The Independent Woodstock Literary Festival, Frank Dikötter, a Hong Kong-based historian, said he found that during the time that Mao was enforcing the Great Leap Forward in 1958, in an effort to catch up with the economy of the Western world, he was responsible for overseeing "one of the worst catastrophes the world has ever known".
Mr Dikötter, who has been studying Chinese rural history from 1958 to 1962, when the nation was facing a famine, compared the systematic torture, brutality, starvation and killing of Chinese peasants to the Second World War in its magnitude. At least 45 million people were worked, starved or beaten to death in China over these four years; the worldwide death toll of the Second World War was 55 million.
Mr Dikötter is the only author to have delved into the Chinese archives since they were reopened four years ago. He argued that this devastating period of history – which has until now remained hidden – has international resonance. "It ranks alongside the gulags and the Holocaust as one of the three greatest events of the 20th century.... It was like [the Cambodian communist dictator] Pol Pot's genocide multiplied 20 times over," he said.
Between 1958 and 1962, a war raged between the peasants and the state; it was a period when a third of all homes in China were destroyed to produce fertiliser and when the nation descended into famine and starvation, Mr Dikötter said.
His book, Mao's Great Famine; The Story of China's Most Devastating Catastrophe, reveals that while this is a part of history that has been "quite forgotten" in the official memory of the People's Republic of China, there was a "staggering degree of violence" that was, remarkably, carefully catalogued in Public Security Bureau reports, which featured among the provincial archives he studied. In them, he found that the members of the rural farming communities were seen by the Party merely as "digits", or a faceless workforce. For those who committed any acts of disobedience, however minor, the punishments were huge.
State retribution for tiny thefts, such as stealing a potato, even by a child, would include being tied up and thrown into a pond; parents were forced to bury their children alive or were doused in excrement and urine, others were set alight, or had a nose or ear cut off. One record shows how a man was branded with hot metal. People were forced to work naked in the middle of winter; 80 per cent of all the villagers in one region of a quarter of a million Chinese were banned from the official canteen because they were too old or ill to be effective workers, so were deliberately starved to death.
Mr Dikötter said that he was once again examining the Party's archives for his next book, The Tragedy of Liberation, which will deal with the bloody advent of Communism in China from 1944 to 1957.
He said the archives were already illuminating the extent of the atrocities of the period; one piece of evidence revealed that 13,000 opponents of the new regime were killed in one region alone, in just three weeks. "We know the outline of what went on but I will be looking into precisely what happened in this period, how it happened, and the human experiences behind the history," he said.
Mr Dikötter, who teaches at the University of Hong Kong, said while it was difficult for any historian in China to write books that are critical of Mao, he felt he could not collude with the "conspiracy of silence" in what the Chinese rural community had suffered in recent history. (Mao's Great Leap Forward Killed 45 Million People in Four Years.)
Earlier statistics compiled by R. J. Rummel at the University of Hawaii in 1991 and updated fourteen years later showed similar totals based on the available evidence before Mr. Dikotter gained access to the Chicoms’ own records, which are important as Communists of every nationality are meticulous record-keepers. Dr. Rummel wrote in 2005 that his own revised figures indicated that over 78,000,000 people were killed by the Chinese Communists between the formation of the Chinese Communist Party in 1927 and 1987 (see Rudy Rummel on Democide, 2005).
Thus, it is quite apt to compare the “civilized” merchants of death to their compatriots in Red China, and these merchants of death believe anyone who opposes any proposal that they put forth for automatic acceptance to be “domestic terrorists” who are “threats” to the demigod of democracy. The “civilized” merchants of death want a one-party system as exists currently in Red China that has the strong backing of security and intelligence forces to silence, perhaps permanently “anti-government” dissidents. Men and their nations must necessarily fall under the cruel tyranny of the adversary and his minions when they turn away from the Catholic Church and the Social Reign of Christ the King.
Oh, in case you doubt the source of the 336,000,000 figure, please be advised that it is from the butchers’ mouths themselves:
It’s difficult to know exactly how many abortions — voluntary or otherwise — have been performed in China to get everyone to comply with their notorious one-child policy, because a lot of this stuff occurs off the grid and under the radar — but China’s health ministry just revealed their four-decade tally of 336 million (and I’d rely on this being a very low-ball estimate):
The figure illustrates the enormous impact that the one-child policy has had on China in the four decades since it began.
Official statistics showed that in addition to the terminations, Chinese doctors have sterilised 196 million men and women since 1971. …
There are more than 13 million abortions a year, or 1,500 an hour, in China, according to government researchers, who blame the high figure on a lack of sex education.
Fewer than ten per cent of sexually active couples regularly use condoms, according to the state-run Science and Technology Research Institute. By comparison, there are roughly 11 million abortions each year in India.
Ouch. There’s been some speculation that China is considering eventually backing off of its often brutally enforced one-child policy, rumors that the Chinese regime has said are not going to see any sort of fruition any time soon — but the realities of an aging population are slowly but surely starting to materialize, and China’s might very well be looking at the mother of all demographic problems:
China is facing a critical shortage of workers caused largely by 30 years of restricting family size. Last year, the working age population of China shrank for the first time, threatening a mainland economic miracle built upon a pool of surplus labour.
Debate over the future of the policy is increasingly public, with duelling experts predicting in Chinese newspapers that it will end soon – or last for ever. …
According to the 2010 census, the number of people over 60 has risen to 13.3 per cent of the population compared with a little more than a tenth a decade ago. Children under 14 comprise less than a sixth of the population now, down from almost a quarter previously. …
But even if it is only a matter of time before the policy disappears, no one is predicting exactly when change might come. “We have been waiting for the other shoe to drop for a long time already,” says Cai Yong, a demographic expert at the University of North Carolina. (Red China Admits 336 Babies Killed by Surgical Abortions between 1971 and 2011.)
It was upon the release of this astounding figure of Red China’s wanton extermination of the preborn that an op-ed column appeared in, of all places, The New York Times, to amplify the horrors of the Communist butchers’ totalitarian efforts to engage in search and destroy missions against expectant mothers:
LONDON — ZHANG YIMOU, the celebrated film director and arranger of the 2008 Summer Olympics’ opening ceremony in Beijing, was accused last week of being the latest high-profile violator of China’s one-child policy. The People’s Daily, the Communist Party mouthpiece, alleged that Mr. Zhang had fathered seven children with four different women.
The news has ignited an angry online debate, with Internet users condemning the unequal application of a 1979 law that stipulates every couple may have just one child (or two for ethnic minorities and for rural couples whose first child is a girl). The truth is: for the rich, the law is a paper tiger, easily circumvented by paying a “social compensation fee” — a fine of 3 to 10 times a household’s annual income, set by each province’s family planning bureau, or by traveling to Hong Kong, Singapore or even America to give birth.
For the poor, however, the policy is a flesh-and-blood tiger with claws and fangs. In the countryside, where the need for extra hands to help in the fields and the deeply entrenched patriarchal desire for a male heir have created strong resistance to population control measures, the tiger has been merciless.
Village family-planning officers vigilantly chart the menstrual cycle and pelvic-exam results of every woman of childbearing age in their area. If a woman gets pregnant without permission and is unable to pay the often exorbitant fine for violating the policy, she risks being subjected to a forced abortion.
According to Chinese Health Ministry data released in March, 336 million abortions and 222 million sterilizations have been carried out since 1971. (Though the one-child policy was introduced in 1979, other, less-stringent family planning policies were in place before it.)
These figures are easy to quote, but they fail to convey the magnitude of the horror faced by rural Chinese women. During a long journey through the hinterlands of southwest China in 2009, I was able to find some of the faces behind these numbers.
On ramshackle barges moored on the remote waterways of Hubei and Guangxi, I met hundreds of “family-planning fugitives” — couples who’d fled their villages to give birth to an unauthorized second or third child in neighboring provinces.
Almost every one of the pregnant women I spoke to had suffered a mandatory abortion. One woman told me how, when she was eight months pregnant with an illegal second child and was unable to pay the 20,000 yuan fine (about $3,200), family planning officers dragged her to the local clinic, bound her to a surgical table and injected a lethal drug into her abdomen.
For two days she writhed on the table, her hands and feet still bound with rope, waiting for her body to eject the murdered baby. In the final stage of labor, a male doctor yanked the dead fetus out by the foot, then dropped it into a garbage can. She had no money for a cab. She had to hobble home, blood dripping down her legs and staining her white sandals red.
It is not surprising that China has the highest rate of female suicide in the world. The one-child policy has reduced women to numbers, objects, a means of production; it has denied them control of their bodies and the basic human right to determine freely and responsibly the number and spacing of their children.
Baby girls are also victims of the policy. Under family pressure to ensure that their only child is a son, women often choose to abort baby girls or discard them at birth, practices that have skewed China’s sex ratio to 118 boys for every 100 girls.
The Communist Party argues that the means justify the ends. When Deng Xiaoping and his fellow economic reformers introduced the one-child policy as a “temporary” measure in 1979, after Mao’s death and the end of the calamitous Cultural Revolution, they claimed that without the one-child policy, the economy would falter and the population would explode.
Thirty-four years on, despite mounting criticism, the Party still clings to it. But their argument is based on shoddy science: the birthrate, already falling before the policy was introduced, is now officially 1.8, or nearer 1.2 according to independent demographic experts like Yi Fuxian — much lower than the necessary 2.1 population replacement level. Mr. Yi and others have warned of China’s impending demographic disaster: a rapidly aging nation that a dwindling work force will be unable to support.
Rising incomes and urbanization generally lead to falling birthrates. If the one-child policy were scrapped tomorrow, most Chinese wouldn’t rush to produce as many offspring as Zhang Yimou. And despite recent signals that the Party might be considering gradually relaxing birth restrictions, there is still considerable resistance.
Stubborn hard-liners will not willingly abandon population control measures that have provided the government with an estimated two trillion yuan in revenue from fines, according to the demographer He Yafu, while allowing it to maintain firm control over people’s lives.
The public outrage voiced against Mr. Zhang during the last week plays into the Party’s hands. Instead of attacking the government’s barbaric policy, the people are being encouraged to criticize the rich for escaping its claws.
Ending this scourge is a moral imperative. The atrocities committed in the name of the one-child policy over the last three decades rank among the worst crimes against humanity of the last century. The stains it has left on China may never be erased. (China's Brutal One Child Policy.)
This is a very compelling story, one that, most sadly, means nothing to those within the organized crime families of naturalism and nothing to the spiritual robber barons of the counterfeit church of conciliarism, men who have been engaged in their own surrender to the Chicoms for quite some time now, something that will be explored at some length in another section of this commentary.
It is important to remember, however, that the world would know nothing about the coercive policies of forced abortion and forced sterilizations had it not been for the courageous, pioneering work of Steven W. Mosher, who uncovered these crimes while doing research in Red China in 1979 at a time then President James Earl Carter, Jr., prevailed upon Red Chinese President Deng Xiaoping to grant Mosher access to rural parts of the country that had not been open to American scholars previously.
Mr. Mosher’s doctoral dissertation on the crimes he uncovered was rejected by his dissertation committee at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, because of allegations that he had gone to areas in Red China where he had been forbidden to travel, which Mosher has documented is not the case. In truth, of course, the long arm of the Red Chinese oligarchs, who have sent their citizens to American universities for a variety of reasons, including military and corporate espionage, seems to have extended to the “scholars” who sat on Mosher’s dissertation committee. So much for “academic freedom” and a “search for truth.”
What does this matter to Kamala Harris, Gavin Newson, Nancy Patricia D’Alesandro Pelosi, Kathleen Hochul, or Timothy James Walz?
Nothing.
Do they even remember what happened on Tiananmen Square on June 4, 1989 or have they conveniently “forgotten” what the Red Chinese People’s Liberation Army did as they used brute force tactics to disperse the “pro-democracy” crowd of up to 180,000 people as an innocent man standing alone in front of a military tank was crushed to death in full view of television cameras?
Here is an editorial, published by a leftist English newspaper, The Guardian, remembering the crushing of the Tiananmen Square protests thirty-five years ago that recounted the relentless efforts of the Chinese Communist Party to erase the memory of its brutality with the full cooperation and to the special delight of all its apologists in the Western world:
When forgetting is compulsory, remembering can be a lonely business. Zhang Xianling’s 19-year-old son was shot in the head as Chinese troops bloodily suppressed the student-led protests that began in Tiananmen Square, Beijing, in 1989. In the 32 years since, she and other Tiananmen Mothers have campaigned in vain for an honest reckoning of the events of 4 June, while the Communist party’s imposed amnesia has made the subject utterly taboo on the mainland.
“So there is hope after all!” she exclaimed, when the scale and passion of Hong Kong’s annual vigil was described to her a few years ago. The event, attended by up to 180,000 at its peak, was the largest in the world and kept the memory of the killings alive on Chinese soil. But it will not happen this Friday, and perhaps it will never happen again. The authorities have banned it for a second year running, purportedly due to coronavirus concerns – though other mass events continue, and authorities have warned that anyone who tries to participate could face five years in jail. Macau has acted similarly.
Last year, thousands in Hong Kong defied the ban and gathered anyway. But 24 pro-democracy figures were subsequently charged with participating in an unauthorised assembly or inciting others to do so; Joshua Wong, already jailed, was sentenced to an additional 10 months after pleading guilty to involvement. On Sunday, the 65-year-old activist known as “Grandma Wong” was arrested on unauthorised assembly charges – for a solo demonstration that day to mark the massacre. A museum commemorating the events was forced to shut three days after opening, pending investigation. Plenty in the city plan to light a candle in memory of the dead. But without the public space for discussion and collective remembrance, the amnesia spreads.
The Communist party’s erasure of 1989’s killings has been so comprehensive and effective that many young people on the mainland are unaware they happened, and others have come to believe that perhaps the crackdown was necessary. The silence grows. The right to remember what happened in 1989 is also the right to know the truth more broadly: “Defending the memory of Tiananmen is the first line of defence,” one Hong Kong lawyer said this week.
What we should recall, however, is not only the slaughter 32 years ago, but the huge support for the protests which preceded it. There were marches in more than 300 cities; officials including police and judges participated in demonstrations calling for freedom and reform. Many of the hundreds, possibly thousands, who died in Beijing and elsewhere were not students, but ordinary residents attempting to protect them. To remember 1989 is to remember that there is an alternative, however impossible it might seem now: that Hong Kong could have kept its freedoms; that octogenarians could be allowed to mourn their slain children without harassment; that Uyghurs could live in dignity in Xinjiang; that human rights could be protected in China and its people trusted with the truth and the freedom to debate them.
Though their numbers inevitably dwindle as the years pass, the Tiananmen Mothers persist in their brave and lonely campaign. When their supporters on the mainland and in Hong Kong are silenced, it is up to the outside world to keep the flame burning, telling them that there is still hope. (The Guardian view on remembering Tiananmen 1989: mourning for those who cannot.)
There is also the case of a Tiananmen Square protester who has been tracked the Chicoms for the past thirty-two years in their constant efforts to wipe out any memory of their brutality from the minds of their own people and their willing stooges in the West:
BEIJING (AP) — The ruling Communist Party’s deadly 1989 crackdown on the Tiananmen Square pro-democracy protests never ended for Fan Baolin, who served 17 years in prison and says he sneaked out of China last year to escape surveillance that included cameras trained on his apartment and pressure on his family to deter him from more activism.
Fan, who took part in the demonstrations and later worked for the party’s vast security apparatus, was arrested in 1999 for giving activists abroad confidential documents about surveillance of Chinese pro-democracy exiles. Released in 2016, he became among those who still are watched by the party a generation later in an effort to erase public memory of the protests in the heart of Beijing.
“Once you are on the Chinese government’s blacklist, you will be tracked for life,” Fan told The Associated Press ahead of Friday’s anniversary of the June 4, 1989, military attack on protesters. He spoke in another Asian country and asked that it not be identified while its government considers his request for asylum.
Party leaders have imprisoned or driven activists into exile and largely succeeded in ensuring young people know little about June 4. Still, after more than three decades and three changes of leadership, they are relentless in trying to prevent any mention of the attack that killed hundreds and possibly thousands of people.
Relatives of those who died are watched and, ahead of the anniversary, some are detained or forced to stay temporarily away from home to prevent them from doing anything that might draw attention. Public memorials on the mainland always have been prohibited. Vigils used to be held openly in Hong Kong and Macao, Chinese territories with fewer political controls, but authorities banned events this year.
"They have only deepened repression,” said Yaqiu Wang of Human Rights Watch in a report this month.
Following his release from prison, Fan lived in his hometown of Xi'an, in China's west, under surveillance and restrictions. He said police discouraged him from leaving the city, tracked his mobile phone and listened to his calls.
To protect his family, Fan said he had little contact with them and told them nothing about his activities. He said he worried they might be punished if he were accused of more wrongdoing.
“They looked for my brother and sister,” he said. Authorities wanted “to make my family members persuade me, control me, not to participate any more in this sort of thing, not to know these people any longer.”
As for other relatives, “I take initiative to keep my distance from them,” Fan said.
“As they all know, my phone is monitored, so as soon as I call and as soon as they answer, they are frightened,” he said. “This is the atmosphere of fear created by the Communist Party’s domestic high-pressure policies now.”
Fan said when he traveled to other cities in 2017 to see friends, police called every day to ask what he was doing. He said when he took a package vacation to Yunnan province in the southwest in 2018, police detained him and sent him back to Xi’an.
Fan participated in the 1989 protests, joining thousands of students from across China in Tiananmen Square. But he left Beijing at the end of May, before the military attacked. His eyes fill with tears when he describes the event.
Later, Fan studied law and worked as a legal consultant before joining the police in Shaanxi province in the west. He moved to a state security agency in 1994 and was assigned to watch the public and read their mail, looking for possible foreign ties.
But he held onto hopes for a democratic China.
Fan was convicted of “illegally providing state secrets abroad” for faxing security agency documents to a pro-democracy movement group in Los Angeles and “expressing sympathy and support,” according to a document Fan provided to the AP that he said was his sentencing report. It said he had promised to use his post to pass along intelligence reports about the group.
That report gave no details of the documents Fan was accused of leaking.
“I didn’t do it for money from Taiwan or the U.S. government,” Fan said. “I was on the side of the pro-democracy movement and provided intelligence to friends in the pro-democracy movement.”
Fan’s case was disclosed to human rights groups in 2007 by a former fellow inmate, Zhao Changqing, according to the Dui Hua Foundation in San Francisco, which researches Chinese prisons. After that, Fan was listed as a political prisoner by Duihua and human rights groups.
Fan said after his release, police took him out for meals ahead of politically sensitive dates — part of extensive efforts to keep track of him.
“They would go back, list the details of our meeting and report regularly to higher levels the so-called dynamics of my thoughts in the sensitive period and in what activities we took part,” he said.
Fan, who turns 57 next month, never married or had children. He said his parents died while he was in prison but he didn’t learn that until he was released, more than a decade later.
Fan said video cameras were installed to watch the apartment his parents bought for him before their deaths. He said that made friends skittish about visiting.
Today, Fan lives in a studio apartment with a roll-up bed and a fan for furniture while he waits for word on his asylum application. He has become a Christian and passes time by reading a Bible on his mobile phone.
Fan said for his first two years out of prison, he rarely went outdoors because “the world was very strange.”
Fan said when he visited Beijing on the 30th anniversary of the Tiananmen protests in 2019, police called from Xi’an and ordered him to return home.
Fan said he told no one after he decided to leave China. He discarded his mobile phone to prevent authorities from using it to track him. He made his way to the southern border and walked across.
“I will not return to China," he said. "This is a road of no return.” ('Tracked for life': China relentless in erasing Tiananmen)
Let’s face facts, good readers, no matter how many few there are who remain as readers of this site.
People such Newson, Pelosi, Biden, Hochul, and Walz are useful tools used by the Chicom to create a multi-layered tier of social control based on whether one is vaccinated or not, whether one complies to the august and ever-infallible, if ever mutating, “recommendations” of the “scientists at the Centers for Disease Control, whether one is an “extremist” for daring to oppose the whole schema of the plandemic, to say nothing of opposing the chemical and surgical execution of the innocent preborn, “brain death”/human organ vivisection and transplantation, the starvation and dehydration of innocent, brain damaged human beings, the provision of health care on the basis of subjective and ever-changing “quality of life” standards, “palliative care”/hospice and all forms of suicide/doctor-assisted suicide. Such “opponents” must be “monitored” as potential “threats” to the civil state just as much as the Chicoms monitor, stigmatize and, if necessary, imprison and torture their own people.
Timothy James Walz, for example, governed in a completely totalitarian manner in Minnesota during the first year of the Wuhan Virus panic in 2020:
In March 2020, Minnesota Democratic Gov. Tim Walz’s administration implemented a hotline encouraging people to snitch on their neighbors who weren’t following the government’s COVID lockdown orders.
The hotline generated thousands of reports – against people playing basketball, walking their dogs, or attending church, local outlet Alpha News reported in 2022. Walz’s administration continued to monitor the hotline until November 2020, though it remained operational until June 2022.
In one example of a complaint, someone alerted authorities to a church service that wasn’t following Walz’s “legal requirements,” the outlet noted.
“I am aware that the apostolic Lutheran church at [address] is planning to hold church services oct 2-4th [sic]. Hundreds are expected And [sic] they will be serving meals in the church dining hall. I don’t believe this fits with legal requirements and I am. Aware [sic] that multiple families that attend this church currently have coronavirus.”
People also called in lists of “non-essential” businesses that remained open or didn’t strictly follow government masking requirements.
A recording of the hotline circulating online reveals a prerecorded message telling callers they have reached the “Office of Public Safety Stay At Home Hotline.”
“The information you leave is considered public information,” it continued. “At the tone, please leave the following information: your name, your callback number, how the stay-at-home order is being violated, and where the stay-at-home order was violated.”
The hotline flew in the face of the message Gov. Walz sent in 2023 regarding LGBT issues.
“In Minnesota, we mind our own damn business,” Walz said in a post on X.
He was immediately met with responses from people pointing out the snitch hotline.
In addition to calling in tips, people could also email complaints. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) noted to Alpha News that about 10,000 COVID-related emails were sent, many of which were spam.
According to the outlet, in one email someone reported “a very large gathering of a pick up basketball game with a lot of observers that easily totaled 30+.”
Another person reported that they had seen a Facebook photo of a small group of people working out at a local park, even though the people could be seen spaced out several feet from each other.
“I have a real problem with this and they are inviting more people to join,” the person reporting complained.”
The list goes on, including someone who reported an employee who was “not practicing social distancing and [was] displaying risky behaviors during this crisis.” Another person reported a police officer who threw a birthday party at his house, and someone else reported that there were “too many people in Walgreens at once.”
Another email complained that people were “going to their cabins,” and others noted that construction workers weren’t practicing social distancing, and that call centers were still operating. Yet another person complained that an insurance agency had three employees in the office.
Another complained that people were buying non-essential items at a convenience store, like lottery ticks, candy, or soda.
“Customers are coming and saying, ‘I’m bored and needed to get out of the house,’” the complaint said. “They buy lottery tickets, a candy bar, a soda … those items are not ‘essential.’” (FLASHBACK: Walz Implemented COVID Hotline To Snitch On Neighbors).
This is how Timothy James Walz governed when given the opportunity to do so because of the false panic over the Wuhan Virus. He was one of many who used the pretext of a supposedly deadly biological weapon that escape from the Wuhan Institute of Virology in Red China but was deadly in most instances only to those who had compromised immune systems or had preexisting co-morbidities. Most people who died during the plandemic were the victims of being denied early and effective treatment and then subjected to the "cookie-cutter"/one-size-fits-all anti-medical protocols that followed the fake "science." Walz jumped at this opportunity to be a miniature Xi Jinping, and then cried "racism" if people criticized the Red Chinese government for their role in creating the virus and the draconian measures it took to control their own people in the wake of it.
Those who adhere to the false opposite of the naturalist “left” have always had an authoritarian impulse, which has “evolved,” if you will into outright, undisguised totalitarianism in the name of “protecting public health,” ending “social division,” curbing “misinformation,” and stopping “racism” as to criticize the Chinese Communists is, of course, to be engage in racism.
No one should thus entertain that it is “racist” to criticize the murderous policies of an unjust, immoral and barbarous regime that has imposed a modern reign of terror upon its imprisoned citizenry precisely because Communism rejects the existence of man’s immortal soul made in the image and likeness of the Most Blessed Trinity, thus making the murder of political opponents thoroughly justifiable as Communists consider anyone who does not hew to the party line to be completely expendable. The liquidation of millions upon millions of innocent human beings means nothing as “Chairman Mao” himself once said that “to make an omelet one has to crack a few eggs; to make a revolution one has to crack a few skulls.”
So what if human beings must be killed or starved?
The “good” of the revolution demands such “purification.”
So what if the Red Chinese forced women into killing their preborn children as they enforced a one child-per-family policy?
So what if the Red Chinese laogai prison camps still torture political prisoners and have historically carved many of them up without even the Western pretense of “brain death” without any anesthesia to sell their bodily organs on the international black body organ market?
So what if there is great evidence to back up this torture and these executions?
The late Dr. Harry Wu, who was imprisoned in a Red Chinese slave labor camp for nineteen years, said at a conference in Montvale, New Jersey, in 1987 at which I was also a speaker that it was a common practice in the laogais (Red Chinese slave labor camps) for political prisoners and other prisoners to be dissected without anesthesia while they were alive for their vital body parts. Obviously, this was a form of execution for those prisoners. The Red Chinese finally got around to admitting this when they instituted a Red Cross-sponsored program for "voluntary" organ donation in their so-called "people's republic:"
China launched a national organ donation system yesterday in a bid to gradually shake off its long-time dependence on executed prisoners as a major source of organs for transplants and as part of efforts to crack down on organ trafficking.
The system, operated mainly by the Red Cross Society of China with assistance from the Ministry of Health, will begin as pilot projects in 10 provinces and cities.
"The system is in the public interest and will benefit patients regardless of social status and wealth in terms of fairness in organ allocation and better procurement," said Vice-Minister of Health Huang Jiefu.
Under the system, the Red Cross is responsible for encouraging post-death organ donations among the public, receiving donor registrations, keeping a database, starting a fund to provide financial assistance for needy, surviving families of donors and overseeing the allocation of donated organs according to set principles.
"Transplants should not be a privilege for the rich," Huang said.
The late, famous Chinese actor Fu Biao received two liver transplants within several months in 2005, raising doubts about the fairness of organ allocation, given that the waiting time for the general public can be years - even if one is lucky enough to get a match, let alone have a second surgery.
Currently about one million people in China need organ transplants each year while only 1 percent receive one, official statistics show.
Only about 130 people on the mainland have signed up to donate their organs since 2003, according to research on the promotion of organ donation after death by professor Chen Zhonghua with the Institute of Organ Transplantation of Tongji Hospital.
The system will help find more willing donors who didn't know how to donate, said Jiang Yiman, the society's deputy director at the launch yesterday in Shanghai. "The Chinese have a tradition of helping others in need and the potential of organ donations from the public is yet to be tapped," she said.
Organ donors
Executed prisoners, who experts estimate account for more than 65 percent of total donors, "are definitely not a proper source for organ transplants," said Vice-Minister Huang.
That the rights of death-row prisoners to donate is fully respected and written consent from them is required, he told China Daily.
Qian Jianmin, chief transplant surgeon with the Shanghai Huashan Hospital, said hospitals performing transplants not only treat patients getting organs from executed prisoners, but have to deal with other levels of government, including the justice department.
"Corruption can arise during the process," he said.
Some just ignore legal procedures regarding organ donations from executed prisoners and make a fat profit, Huang said.
All costs are passed on to patients. Sometimes the recipient pays up to 200,000 yuan ($29,000) for a kidney, not including other medical services.
China issued an organ transplant law in 2007 that bans organ trafficking and only allows donations from living people to blood relatives and spouses, plus someone considered "emotionally connected."
However, organ middlemen have been faking documents in order to make a person who is desperately in need of money be considered "emotionally connected" to the recipients, reports said.
Living transplants increased to 40 percent of total transplants from 15 percent in 2006, Chen Zhonghua said.
"That's one of the daunting tasks facing us as we try to end the organ trade by establishing this system," Huang noted.
Other goals include preventing organ tourism, improving transplant quality, better defining donors' rights and satisfying patients' needs for transplants in an ethical manner.
"With more organ donations from the public, the total cost for transplants will decrease," he said.
The exact cost for transplants varies from place to place and largely remains an industry secret. But experts said it's at least 100,000 yuan.
Praise for initiative
"We welcome the emphasis put on fair practice in organ procurement, allocation and transplant, echoing the WHO guiding principles on transplantation," said Luc Noel, coordinator of clinical procedures in the essential health technologies department at World Health Organization headquarters in Geneva.
"China is establishing the national network and authority necessary to initiate and maximize organ donations from deceased donors and thus progress towards the global mainstream in organ donation and transplantation," he said.
The system will be operated at both State and provincial levels. Donated organs would be allocated locally first and then nationally.
"My colleagues and I welcome the system, which will facilitate our efforts to save more patients and help medical workers concentrate more on practicing medicine," said transplant surgeon Qian, whose hospital performs about 150 transplants each year.
Wang Yuling, a young white-collar worker in Beijing, said she'd donate if it really helps someone in need instead of making someone rich.
The pilot projects will take place across the country, including Shanghai, Tianjin, Fujian (Xiamen), Jiangsu (Nanjing), Hubei (Wuhan), Liaoning, Shandong and Jiangxi. The system will then be introduced nationwide, Jiang said.
When asked for a specific timetable when the system will cover the whole country, Huang said the process took 20 years in United States.
"I hope it'll be faster in China. We are still searching for the best way," he said.
"Details about the system, like how to clearly define responsibilities for all stakeholders under the system, including the Red Cross and health administrations, are still under discussion," Jiang said. (Public Call for Organs in Red China.)
Human rights activists said Tuesday that a thriving black market in body parts for transplantation has been illuminated by the arrests of two men on charges of trying to illegally sell organs from executed Chinese prisoners.
The two men, Cheng Yong Wang - who told undercover investigators he had been a prosecutor on Hainan Island in China - and Xingqi Fu - a Chinese citizen living in New York - were seized after meeting with an FBI agent posing as a medical executive.
The undercover agent said he was interested in receiving corneas, kidneys, pancreases, livers, lungs, skin and other organs.
According to court papers, Wang, 41, signed two contracts making him responsible for coordinating with relevant Chinese government agencies and hospitals in securing organs for transplants and would receive a commission amounting to 25 percent of the total cost of each transplant case.
Prosecutors charged that Fu, 35, planned to smuggle corneas into the United States for sale to physicians.
Prosecutors said that earlier in February, prior to a Feb. 20 meeting with the government operative, Wang conferred in a New York hotel room with Harry Wu, a well-known human rights activist who then acted as a government informant. Wang allegedly said he was interested in selling kidneys from executed Chinese prisoners.
“Wang went into business a long time ago,” the human rights activist charged. “His position is prosecutor. He supervised executions, controlled execution sites.”
Sidney Jones, executive director of the Asia division of Human Rights Watch, said that if the charges prove true, “it indicates the organ trade has established itself in the United States.
“This is a practice that has been going on for a long time. Most of the patients have been from Hong Kong and Taiwan where they have been willing to pay a large sum of money to go to China to get the organ transplants,” Jones said. “Now, it is clear, the trade is global.”
n announcing the arrests Monday, U.S. Attorney Jo White said the defendants offered to sell two corneas for $5,000 and Fu had promised the FBI agent that lungs would come from nonsmokers.
“Trafficking and profiteering in human organs is ghoulish, criminal conduct that imperils the most vulnerable,” White said.
Chinese authorities claim that transplants occur only sparingly and only after prisoners who face the death sentence voluntarily agree to donate organs.
This is strongly disputed by Human Rights Watch.
A report issued in 1994 by the group charged that “in recent years, it has become increasingly evident that executed prisoners are the principal source of supply of body organs for medical transplantation purposes in China.”
“The consent of prisoners to use their organs after death, although required by law, appears rarely to be sought,” the report said. (Two Accused of Trying to Sell Bodily Organs from Red China.)
Little details such as the simple fact that it is impossible to take a heart or a liver out of the body of a dead person for the sake transplantation are not included in this news story from China Daily eleven years ago. The nasty little secret that the body snatchers don't want most people to know is that living human beings must be killed in order to harvest their hearts or livers for purposes of being transplanted into other human beings. This is true in Red China. It is true in the United States of America. It is true everywhere. Although one can, if one chooses, donate a lung or a kidney, no one can remove a heart or a liver without killing the person from whom such organs are extracted. It is that simple. Moral truth always is simple.
As mentioned just a above, the late Dr. Harry Wu documented the system of the Laogai forced-labor prison camp system in Red China as a result of his own nineteen-year (1960-1979) imprisonment in the manner that Dr. Aleksandr I. Solzhenitsyn documented the existence and the extent of the brutality, including psychiatric abuses of the most monstrous kind as drawn from his own eight years of imprisonment and torture in twelve different Soviet gulags. Dr, Wu confirmed the fact that aborted babies were served in soup in Chinese restaurants when I asked him about various news reports concerning this barbaric practice in 1997 when we were speakers at a Roman Forum conference in Montvale, New Jersey. Dr. Wu also noted that he personally witnessed political prisoners being carved up for their body parts while they were fully conscious without the pretext of “brain death” used by the merchants of death in the supposedly “civilized” United States of America.
So what if children must be considered as the possession of the civil state and can be torn away from their parents without any thought of familial ties or even pious sentiments of love and loyalty that is part of domestic life of its very nature?
Obviously, the “cause” is what matters.
So what if the state requires forced abortion, slave labor, forced sterilization, silencing of dissent, the vivisection of political prisoners for the bodily organs without resorting to the masquerade of “bran death, limits family size and controls every aspect of civil life without exception?
The state is above all else.
So what if religious expression and practice, no less that of the true religion, Catholicism, must be made subordinate to Chinese Communist “orthodoxy” at the moment? After all, Communism is a secular religion from which no one may legitimately dissent.
So what if photographs of Xi Jinping are replacing images of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in Catholic churches that are now in the control of the so-called Chinese Patriotic Catholic Association that is but an creation and appendage of the Chinese Communist Party?
The Red Chinese model of national imprisonment is being imposed upon us slowly now, but that process will accelerate greatly on a state-by-state basis annually and, of course, will become implemented more rapidly on a national basis once a member of the false opposite of the naturalist left captures the White House.
The CCP/China/Wuhan/Chinese/Covid-19/Coronavirus escaped form BSL-4 in Wuhan escaped before it was fully weaponized, but that did not stop the Chicoms from doing what they could to cover their tracks and to use their stooges in the World Health Organization and their fifth column here in the United States of America to weaponize the virus to advance the political agenda summarized above.
Mr. Stephen Mosher, who was the first to expose the policy of forced abortion in Red China and thus was denied his doctorate at Stanford University
Pope Pius XI reminded us in Divini Redemptoris, March 19, 1937, that Communism is inherently evil and that no one could legitimate cooperate with it any way, something that matters not to Fauci, who is all for cooperation with anything that will his advance the agenda of vaccinations as the cure to most physical illnesses and line the pockets of his friend Bill Gates in the process:
See to it, Venerable Brethren, that the Faithful do not allow themselves to be deceived! Communism is intrinsically wrong, and no one who would save Christian civilization may collaborate with it in any undertaking whatsoever. Those who permit themselves to be deceived into lending their aid towards the triumph of Communism in their own country, will be the first to fall victims of their error. And the greater the antiquity and grandeur of the Christian civilization in the regions where Communism successfully penetrates, so much more devastating will be the hatred displayed by the godless. (Pope Pius XI, Divini Redemptoris, March 19, 1937.)
This condemnation of any kind of cooperation with Communism was reinterred by the Holy Office on July 1, 1949, the Feast of the Most Precious Blood of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, under the pontificate of our last true pope, Pope Pius XII:
This Sacred Supreme Congregation has been asked:
1. whether it is lawful to join Communist Parties or to favour them;
2. whether it is lawful to publish, disseminate, or read books, periodicals, newspapers or leaflets which support the teaching or action of Communists, or to write in them;
3. whether the faithful who knowingly and freely perform the acts specified in questions 1 and 2 may be admitted to the Sacraments;
4. whether the faithful who profess the materialistic and anti-Christian doctrine of the Communists, and particularly those who defend or propagate this doctrine, contract ipso facto excommunication specially reserved to the Apostolic See as apostates from the Catholic faith.
The Most Eminent and Most Reverend Fathers entrusted with the supervision of matters concerning the safeguarding of Faith and morals, having previously heard the opinion of the Reverend Lords Consultors, decreed in the plenary session held on Tuesday (instead of Wednesday), June 28, 1949, that the answers should be as follows:
To 1. in the negative: because Communism is materialistic and anti-Christian; and the leaders of the Communists, although they sometimes profess in words that they do not oppose religion, do in fact show themselves, both in their teaching and in their actions, to be the enemies of God, of the true religion and of the Church of Christ; to 2. in the negative: they are prohibited ipso iure (cf. Can. 1399 of the Codex Iuris Canonici); to 3. in the negative, in accordance with the ordinary principles concerning the refusal of the Sacraments to those who are not disposed; to 4. in the affirmative.
And the following Thursday, on the 30th day of the same month and year, Our Most Holy Lord Pius XII, Pope by the Divine Providence, in the ordinary audience, granted to the Most Eminent and Most Reverend Assessor of the Sacred Office, approved of the decision of the Most Eminent Fathers which had been reported to Him, and ordered the same to be promulgated officially in the Acta Apostolicae Sedis. Given at Rome, on July 1st, 1949. (As found at Decree Against Communism.)
Perhaps there are many amongst the academic, scientific, political, and bureaucratic elites in this country who want to live in a country based on Red Chinese thought control, censorship, imprisonment and torture of "dissidents" from Communist thought and practice. I, for one, do not want to live in such a country, although we may have no choice and we may have no refuge anywhere else in the world as this is what must happen over the course of the centuries once men and their nations reject the sweet yoke of Social Reign of Christ the King as taught and enforced (as a last resort after discharging all efforts at exhortation and admonishment whenever the good of souls demands) by the loving intervention of Holy Mother Church, she who is our mater and magister, Mother and Teacher.
Gluttonous, Lustful Men and their Nations Must be Punished: Father Henry James Coleridge
Father Henry James Coleridge, who was born in 1822 and converted to the Holy Faith in 1856, a little over a decade after the conversion of Father William Frederick Faber, used a series of sermons between 1860 and the time of his death in 1893 to comment on how men and their nations were being infected by toxic ideologies. Father Coleridge was particularly concerned about the rise of what we would call today ‘fake science” as a new “religion” of the miseducated elite, and he explained what the results of such a “religion” for he called gluttonous countries of the United States of America, England and France. The excerpts below come from his sermon on "The Days of Noe":
I have been trying to point out to you, dear brethren in our Lord, the resemblance which exists, as to many remarkable features in both, between the days in which we live, and the days which, if you Lord be not a false prophet, will be at the end of the world immediately before His coming to judge the whole human race. You have seen, in the first place, that we live in the presence of a false popular creed, the influence of which is spreading every day, (Darwinism) and is likely to spread further and further. This false creed, with those over whom it prevails, will certainly account for the strange feature of the last days which our Lord mentions, the indifference of the men of that time to the signs of His coming. It will account for that indifference, because it will destroy in their minds all the principles, doctrines, and feelings which could make them otherwise that indifferent. Such a creed, whether it survive to the last days or not, is at least like that false belief which will then prevail. (Father Henry James Coleridge, S.J.. Discourses on the Latter Days, 1883, pp. 77-91. Published by St. Pius X Press.)
Although the ideology of Darwinism was then its early years, Father Coleridge understood that that evolutionism was designed to replace even generic Christianity as the foundation of social thought and popular culture. Evolutionism denies Special Creation in favor of a disproved ideology that has convinced most people alive today that human beings are descended from apes. We have been eyewitnesses to the rotten fruit of this disproved ideology as those who believe that they are descended from apes and do not have human natures wounded by Original Sin will come to act like apes over the course of time. The empirical proof for this is visible to anyone who can see the world through the eyes of the true Faith as one shops anywhere these days and encounters heavily tattooed people who speak in guttural tones and lack even simple decency on the natural level. So many people today are totally self-absorbed and believe that the word “hygiene” to refers to how they might greet a man named “Eugene” (“Hi, Gene”). Dirty, unkempt people abound in our world, and those who are just the ones holding public office, mind you, and this is to say nothing about foul, offensive language full of immodest speech and vulgar profanities are uttered publicly by tattooed-bedecked parents with dyed hair in front of their grossly overweight children with Mohawk haircuts.
The ideology of evolutionism dispenses with belief in Original Sin, Our Lord’s Redemptive Act on the wood of the Holy Cross, the necessity of saving one’s soul as members of the Catholic Church and, ultimately, all thought of the Particular and General Judgments. It has been one of the many means—along with Protestantism and the panoply of naturalistic errors that stem from Judeo-Masonry—of promoting a thoroughly Godless world populated by heathens whose god are their bellies and whose glory is to be found their shameless behavior as they have no sense of personal shame.
Darwinism was an application of the Hegelian falsehood of the “evolution” of philosophical ideas by means of the dialectical principle as the first idea (thesis) contains within itself the seeds of its own contradiction (antithesis) to the created world. Hegel contended that the clash between the thesis and the antitheses produces a synthesis that will lead ultimately to the emergence of what Hegel said would be the “ideal spirit.” Hegel’s false system of “philosophical” evolution has become the basis of modern “thought” and cultural praxis.
Karl Marx adapted Hegelianism, saying that he was turning Hegel’s system “right side up” by denying the existence of the human soul and thus reducing the entirety of the world to mere physical matter that evolves according to what he called the principle of dialectical materialism as the clash of competing economic classes and interests would result inevitably in the stage of “ideal communism” when “history would end and man would begin.”
All forms of evolutionism are anthropocentric, that is, man-centered, and are based on the falsehood that men and their societies are perfectible over the course of time. Poverty, suffering, war and injustice can be eliminated “scientifically” as the species “evolves.” It is this false belief that is taught with religious fervor in schools, universities, colleges, professional schools and even seminaries without question. Truth can never be known as man and the world around him “evolves” to such an extent that what was true once can be false in the future.
Father Denis Fahey explained that the attempt to eliminate any thought of Original Sin from the minds of men predated Darwinism as it was the active goal of Freemasonry to do so: The Mystical City of Christ in the Modern World:
To the triumph of those ideals in the modern world, the Masonic denial of original sin and the Rousseauist dogma of the natural goodness of man have contributed not a little. The dogma of natural goodness signifies that man lived originally in a purely natural paradise of happiness and goodness and that, even in our present degraded state, all our instinctive movements are good. We do not need grace, for nature can do for what grace does. In addition, Rousseau holds that this state of happiness and goodness, of perfect justice and innocence, of exemption from servile work and suffering, is natural to man, that is, essentially demanded by our nature. Not only then is original sin nonexistent, not only do we not come into the world as fallen sons of the first Adam, bearing in us the wounds of our fallen nature, is radically anti-natural. Suffering and pain have been introduced by society, civilization and private property. Hence we must get rid of all these and set up a new form of society. We can bet back the state of the Garden of Eden by the efforts of our own nature, without the help of grace. For Rousseau, the introduction of the present form of society, and of private property constitute the real Fall. The setting up of a republic based on his principles will act as a sort of democratic grace which will restore in its entirety our lost heritage. In a world where the clear teaching of the faith of Christ about the supernatural order of the Life of Grace has become obscured, but were men are still vaguely conscious that human nature was once happy, Rousseau’s appeal acts like an urge of homesickness. We need not be astonished, then, apart from the question of Masonic-Revolutionary organization and propaganda, at the sort of delirious enthusiasm which takes possession of men at the thought of a renewal of society. Nor need we wonder that men work for the overthrow of existing government and existing order, in the belief that they are not legitimate forms of society. A State not constructed according to Rosseauist-Masonic principles is not a State ruled by laws. It is a monstrous tyranny, and must be overthrown in the name of "Progress" and of the "onward march of democracy.’ All these influences must be borne in mind as we behold, since 1789, the triumph in one country after another or Rousseauist-Masonic democracy. (Father Denis Fahey, The Mystical Body of Christ in the Modern World.)
As Pope Leo XIII noted in Rerum Novarum, May 15, 1891, men must be plunged into the darkness of error and thus prone to worship of the passing things of this earth once they lose sight of futurity:
But the Church, with Jesus Christ as her Master and Guide, aims higher still. She lays down precepts yet more perfect, and tries to bind class to class in friendliness and good feeling. The things of earth cannot be understood or valued aright without taking into consideration the life to come, the life that will know no death. Exclude the idea of futurity, and forthwith the very notion of what is good and right would perish; nay, the whole scheme of the universe would become a dark and unfathomable mystery. The great truth which we learn from nature herself is also the grand Christian dogma on which religion rests as on its foundation -- that, when we have given up this present life, then shall we really begin to live. God has not created us for the perishable and transitory things of earth, but for things heavenly and everlasting; He has given us this world as a place of exile, and not as our abiding place. As for riches and the other things which men call good and desirable, whether we have them in abundance, or are lacking in them -- so far as eternal happiness is concerned -- it makes no difference; the only important thing is to use them aright. Jesus Christ, when He redeemed us with plentiful redemption, took not away the pains and sorrows which in such large proportion are woven together in the web of our mortal life. He transformed them into motives of virtue and occasions of merit; and no man can hope for eternal reward unless he follow in the blood-stained footprints of his Savior. "If we suffer with Him, we shall also reign with Him." Christ's labors and sufferings, accepted of His own free will, have marvelously sweetened all suffering and all labor. And not only by His example, but by His grace and by the hope held forth of everlasting recompense, has He made pain and grief more easy to endure; "for that which is at present momentary and light of our tribulation, worketh for us above measure exceedingly an eternal weight of glory." (Pope Leo XIII, Rerum Novarum, May 15, 1891.)
Obviously, readers of this site know that Hegelianism and Darwinism were foundational principles of Modernism’s condemned, philosophically absurd precept of dogmatic evolutionism. One of the chief proponents of this dogmatic evolutionism in recent times has been the disciple of the Hegelian named Father Hans Urs von Balthazar, the late Joseph Alois Ratzinger/Benedict XVI, who used the label “hermeneutic of continuity” to make it appear that his beliefs were in some way different than those condemned by Pope Saint Pius X in Pascendi Dominici Gregis, which they were not. (Bergoglio, of course, could care less for justifying his embrace of heresy and error as he simply does and says what he wants while trying to make it appear that his is a “true” and “simplified” view of the Gospel. Then again, Bergoglio is living proof of what happens when one believes in evolutionism as he is but an ape of everything false, ugly, wicked and perverted.) For a good summary of the scientific facts debunking evolutionism, please see the late Gerard Keane’s Creation Rediscovered: Evolution and the Importance and the Importance of the Origins Debate.)
The next excerpt from Father Coleridge’s sermon discussed the similarities between the decay of what he called the Christian world in the late-Nineteenth Century and those of the latter days that had been prophesied by Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ:
In the second place, you have seen that the present condition of the Christian populations throughout the world, taken as a whole, abundantly justifies the application to our own times of those mournful words of our Lord, in which He predicted that in the latter days there would be a great decay among the many of true Catholic and Christian charity. We tested this by the opinions and doctrines prevalent over large portions of the Christian world, whereby the necessity of Christian communities are paralyzed by that disease which is the special antagonist and death of charity – that is, the sin of schism. Again, we saw last Sunday that our Lord describes the political state of our own times in the very same words in which He described that of the last age of the world, when nation rising against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And, if any one of these features of the last days which are to be found in our own time strikes us as pointing to the conclusion that we may at any moment have the reign of the last persecution, the reign of Antichrist, and the final judgment upon us, surely the combination of these several features together points with still greater force to the same conclusion. There still remain more features than one of resemblance between our own age and the last to which your attention must be drawn. I shall speak of one of these to-day, and draw from its consideration one or two practical reflections.
The first of these features of the last days of which I have to speak, is one of which we certainly have a very strong and remarkable anticipation in our own time. I mean the absorbing and engrossing manner in which material pleasures and enjoyments hold the souls of the mass of mankind in captivity, dulling them and blinding them, as our Lord says of the men of His own generation, making their hearts gross and heavy, so that they have not the power, it may almost be said, to perceive the truths which God sets before them in His Church. In the passage from which the text is taken, our Lord selects two times from the whole of human history, and He says that it shall be in the latter days as it was in those times. Those were times of great catastrophes, of great punishments of God on the sinfulness of man, when the chastisement took men by surprise because they were so engrossed in the enjoyments of life. It may be that the chief point, so to say, of the comparison in our Lord's words lies in the suddenness of the chastisement, but still it cannot be without a meaning that He should have chosen those two periods for the purpose of His warnings to us. For the suddenness of the chastisement which will fall on the last generation of mankind will not consist in the absence of warnings beforehand, but in the dulness and blindness of men to warnings, however startling. Such dulness and such blindness, as we know well from Scripture, are the inevitable results of engrossments in temporal and material goods, and when this engrossment is possible then are its fruits possible, as we see in those times which our Lord speaks. They were times of enormous degradation and licentiousness, but that degradation and that licentiousness were brought on by the fearful engrossment of those who were the subjects of God's chastisements in the pleasures of the senses and the enjoyments of this world. The first of these two periods is the period before the universal Deluge, and the second is the time of Lot, when God destroyed the Cities of the Plain on account of their loathsome and unnatural sensuality. If these times have in common the feature of the entire unexpectedness of the calamity which then fell on men, they have also that other feature in common, of the excessive sensual enjoyment of those who perished in those catastrophes. (Father Henry James Coleridge, S.J.. Discourses on the Latter Days, 1883, pp. 77-91. Published by St. Pius X Press.)
Loathsome and unnatural sensuality rule the day now, and anyone who opposes the agenda of the homosexual collective is branded as a bigot and “hater.” The members of the organized crime family of the naturalist “right” have surrendered to the “left” on this issue.
Men prefer to wallow in their pleasures and to accumulate wealth and “toys” as they waste their time on vain amusements. They are as immune to the warning signs of a decaying society today as were the men at the time of the Flood and destruction of the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. This is eminently understandable as most so-called Scripture scholars have “de-mythologized” Holy Writ, and this work of de-mythology has been promoted with the great glee in Catholic seminaries in the control of the counterfeit church of conciliarism and by the conciliar “popes,” especially the German Hegelian and rationalist, Joseph Alois Ratzinger/Benedict XVI, and his successor, Jorge Mario Bergoglio, who promotes a de-mythologized view of Holy Writ that is a heretical rejection of the inerrancy of Sacred Scripture, every word of which was written under the Divine inspiration of the Third Person of the Most Blessed Trinity, God the Holy Ghost. Bergoglio and his Jacobin/Bolshevik comrades have done this specifically to justify a de facto endorsement of divorce and remarriage without a conciliar decree of nullity and of a “ministry” to those engaged in sodomy and related vices.
Father Coleridge explained that those who ignore God’s warnings, including those given by His Co-Equal, Co-Eternal Divine Son, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, bring themselves and their nations to destruction:
With regard to the antediluvian world, there is this feature besides, that God undoubtedly warned the race of mankind that His judgments were about to come on them. It appears from the Scripture account that the ark took a hundred years to build, and that during that time Noe was a preacher of repentance. We know but little indeed of those marvellous days, when human life, as the Scripture tells us, was so long, but if that were so, it would be quite enough to account for the forgetfulness of the things of God and of the soul, and for the extreme profligacy of which we also read of the antediluvian. Alas! So it is. If life in our days could be prolonged for twice or thrice its ordinary span, it would more probably be for the greater misery that for the greater happiness of mankind. And when we are told, as we are times told in Scriptures, that God has shortened the days of the ordinary human lifetime, it is certain that He has done so in pity rather than in anger. Then also, the antediluvians seem to have dwelt in the very fairest region of the earth, they seem to have been more full of natural knowledge and of acquired skill in the use of the resources of enjoyment and physical wellbeing that those who came after them, and it is very likely indeed that their numbers were not such as to cause that struggle for existence which is now the lot of the populations of so many countries of the world, in which the great enjoyment of the good things of the earth is not yet the free inheritance of the many. At all events, they were so fearfully and outrageously corrupt, morally and socially, that the sacred writer tells us that their wickedness was so great, that it made God repent in His heart that He had created them. Such was the population of the earth, or of those parts of it then inhabited by man, on whom the great destruction of the Flood came like a thief in the night.
As to the other period and generation of which our Lord speaks, and to which, in its heedlessness and unwatchfulness, He compares the men of the last days, why need I speak? Sodom and Gomorrha, the Cities of the Plain – the very name is synonymous with everything that is most foul and licentious, even to the degradation of our human nature. The land in which they dwelt was one of unexampled beauty and fertility. We are told in the book of Genesis, that “the country about Jordan was watered throughout before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrha, as the paradise of the Lord, and like Egypt as when one comes to Segur.” (Gen. Xiii. 10) And as the Flood had been brought on by list, so also was it with the destruction of these fair cities and their wicked inhabitants. Here, then, we find also these two features, immense material enjoyment and the most intense moral degradation. We are not told that the people of these cities were directly warned of the chastisement which they were bringing on themselves, but, at all events, they had had for some time resident among them a chosen servant of God Lot, the sister's son of Abraham, of whom St. Peter speaks as if he had been a witness to virtue and morality, “oppressed by the injustice and lewd conversation of the wicked, for in sight and hearing he was just, dwelling among them, who day by day vexed the just soul with ungodly works.” (2 St. Peter ii 7, 8.) So that if they had not a direct warning, they had the witness of a holy life among them to reproach them for their profound foulness of lust. And we may daily suppose that if they were not warned by any more direct signs or predictions of their coming destruction, it was because they were so deeply engrossed in their sensuality as not to be capable of conversation, or of arousing, by any such means, as it is indeed the characteristic of men who are given to those enormous sins of lust, to be incapable of compunction, and beyond the reach of the most startling warnings of Providence. (Father Henry James Coleridge, S.J.. Discourses on the Latter Days, 1883, pp. 77-91. Published by St. Pius X Press.)
We have arrived at the days of the sort that Father Coleridge did not believe existed in his time. Indeed, we have exceeded the lusts of the pagan Romans and the statism of its caesars, and we are making Sodom and Gomorrha look like the Victorian England in which Father Coleridge lived all but the first fifteen years of his life.
Those who wantonly defy the immutable laws of the good God and regularly and unrepentantly offend against holy purity and honest speech are to be found on the “left” and on the “right” and everywhere else in-between in our topsy-turvy world of relativism, utilitarianism, pragmatism, ecumenism, statism, collectivism, globalism and just plain Machiavellianism.
Father Coleridge’s sermon described the trajectory of a world steeped in naturalism in his own day. He saw clearly where this would lead, and it is tragic that so many believing Catholics believe that the United States of America will be made “great again” when its current path of destruction and decay was charted by the rationalists, freethinkers, deists, Freemasons who celebrated religious indifferentism, religious liberty, unfettered freedom of speech and of the press as the nation’s very foundation.
Is it possible for men and their nations to pursue the common temporal good without submitting to the sweet yoke of the Social Reign of Christ the King as it must be exercised by His Holy Catholic Church in all that pertains to the good of souls?
Is it possible for men to withstand the gates of hell in their own personal lives and in their nations when they sin unrepentantly and, worse yet, enshrine their sins in public laws as “human rights” and then celebrate then in all aspects of popular culture?
Is it possible for men to maintain virtue personally or to establish “civic virtue” in public life without repenting of their sins and seeking to do penance for them by a belief in and firm reliance upon the graces won for them by the shedding of every single drop of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour’s Most Precious Blood during His Passion and Death on the wood of the Holy Cross and that flow into their souls and hearts through the loving hands of His Most Blessed Mother, she who is the Mediatrix of All Graces?
Of course not.
Let me turn once more the following words of Pope Pius XI in Mit Brennender Sorge, March 17, 1937:
And today we again repeat with all the insistency We can command: it is not enough to be a member of the Church of Christ, one needs to be a living member, in spirit and in truth, i.e., living in the state of grace and in the presence of God, either in innocence or in sincere repentance. If the Apostle of the nations, the vase of election, chastised his body and brought it into subjection: lest perhaps, when he had preached to others, he himself should become a castaway (1 Cor. ix. 27), could anybody responsible for the extension of the Kingdom of God claim any other method but personal sanctification? Only thus can we show to the present generation, and to the critics of the Church that "the salt of the earth," the leaven of Christianity has not decayed, but is ready to give the men of today -- prisoners of doubt and error, victims of indifference, tired of their Faith and straying from God -- the spiritual renewal they so much need. A Christianity which keeps a grip on itself, refuses every compromise with the world, takes the commands of God and the Church seriously, preserves its love of God and of men in all its freshness, such a Christianity can be, and will be, a model and a guide to a world which is sick to death and clamors for directions, unless it be condemned to a catastrophe that would baffle the imagination.
20. Every true and lasting reform has ultimately sprung from the sanctity of men who were driven by the love of God and of men. Generous, ready to stand to attention to any call from God, yet confident in themselves because confident in their vocation, they grew to the size of beacons and reformers. On the other hand, any reformatory zeal, which instead of springing from personal purity, flashes out of passion, has produced unrest instead of light, destruction instead of construction, and more than once set up evils worse than those it was out to remedy. No doubt "the Spirit breatheth where he will" (John iii. 8): "of stones He is able to raise men to prepare the way to his designs" (Matt. iii. 9). He chooses the instruments of His will according to His own plans, not those of men. But the Founder of the Church, who breathed her into existence at Pentecost, cannot disown the foundations as He laid them. Whoever is moved by the spirit of God, spontaneously adopts both outwardly and inwardly, the true attitude toward the Church, this sacred fruit from the tree of the cross, this gift from the Spirit of God, bestowed on Pentecost day to an erratic world. (Pope Pius XI, Mit Brennender Sorge, March 17, 1937.)
We live in a very erratic world, one awash with violence against the innocent and hatred for the true Faith that is now fully out in the open for all to behold. That is, such violence and hatred is out in the happen for those who have the eyes of the Holy Faith to see.
As has been noted so frequently on this site, however, the lords of conciliarism have made their “official reconciliation” with the anti-Incarnational errors of Modernity and have reaffirmed unsuspecting Catholics in their desires as fallen creatures to be like the rest of men in the unlimited enjoyment of the pleasures of this world. It is thus for most men alive today, including most Catholics, to realize that the party is over, and the agitation engendered by the constant conflicts between two sets of naturalists who disagree on some things but are united in their rejection of the necessity of adhering to Catholic truth and of cooperating with Sanctifying and Actual Grace as the means to personal and social order to see that there will no party for anyone in eternity who persists in grievous sin until the time of his death. There is no naturalistic means to stem the tide of evil that has overtaken us as surely as the Flood overtook the men of Noe’s time.
The party’s over but so few people want to see that this is so.
We believe in miracles, including that God has favored his saints, especially those who were particularly devoted to His Most Blessed Mother, with prodigious feast attesting to His power over the elements and attesting to His loving mercy for us erring sinners at the same time. Why, then, do we permit ourselves to be so steeped in naturalism as to think that there is something short of Catholicism that can unite men and restore social order?
We must remember that we have no permanent dwelling here in this mortal vale of tears. We are meant to suffer the chastisements of these times in which it has been within the Providence of God to place us so that we can work out our salvation in fear and in trembling as the consecrated slaves of His Divine Son, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary. We have not been left as orphans in this time of apostasy and betrayal and in this time of the triumph, albeit temporary, of the combined forces of Antichrist in the world as Our Lord Himself has sent His Most Blessed Mother to us to clothe us with the shield of Brown Scapular of Mount Carmel and to provide us with the weapon against all the enemies of our own salvation and of truth in the world, her Most Holy Rosary.
Our Lady has told us in the end her Immaculate Heart will triumph, which should give us great encouragement in these troubling times as her Divine Son, Christ the King, has chosen us, unworthy though we are, to be the imperfect instruments by which we can make a bit of reparation for our sins and those of the whole world and to plant a few seeds for the restorations of all things in Him, Our Divine Redeemer and King.
It is time to pray a Rosary now, is it not?
