Benedictus Qui Venit in Nomine Domini, Hosanna in Excelsis, part two
As always, it is within the Providence of God that circumstances beyond this writer’s control have delayed the composition of this commentary. Much has happened in the past week since the military forces of Hamas attacked Israel civilians and foreign nationals in the Israeli-occupied territories of southern Israel that belong by right to the Palestinian people despite the State of Israel’s seizure of much of Gaza and, farther north, the West Bank and its subsequent policies of settling Israelis as well as Talmudists from around the world there. A full-scale invasion of Gaza by the Israeli Defense Force is pending at the time of this writing, and hundreds of thousands of beleaguered Palestinians who had nothing to do with the violence are fleeing from their homes to live as refugees with little hope of finding their homes standing if the Israelis ever decide to withdraw from Gaza after the invasion.
The purpose of this commentary, which is a follow-up to Benedictus Qui Venit in Nomine Domini, Hosanna in Exclesis, is to once again remind the readers of this website of basic root causes without descending at length into the specifics of what the government of the Zionist State of Israel knew about the October 7, 2023, attacks or to the extent to which that Hamas may have been created with the help of the Israeli Mossad in 1987 as a counterweight to the Palestine Liberation Organization even though the Hamas is actually on offshoot of the Egyptian Islamic Brotherhood. The Middle East has long been an area rife with double and triple agents, and it is simply a waste of one’s good Catholic time to go into one rabbit hole after another.
Let me stipulate the following important points that I believe are most directly relevant to the current conflict, which may (and I am not an alarmist nor any kind of self-anointed “end times prophet”) spread into a region-wide war, which is something that the warmongering neoconservatives, who are actually Trotskyites in their rigid adherence to endless war as the means to “stabilize” the world according to their own Judeo-Masonic designs, have long desired:
First, the Abrahamic Jews were expelled from the Holy Land by Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Who had given them a thirty-seven year period of mercy to respond to the preaching of the Apostles after Pentecost Sunday. Our Lord used the pagan Romans to chastise the once Chosen People for their perfidious blindness and hardness of heart, something that He prophesied as follows:
And Jesus being come out of the temple, went away. And his disciples came to shew him the buildings of the temple. 2 And he answering, said to them: Do you see all these things? Amen I say to you there shall not be left here a stone upon a stone that shall not be destroyed 3 And when he was sitting on mount Olivet, the disciples came to him privately, saying: Tell us when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the consummation of the world? 4 And Jesus answering, said to them: Take heed that no man seduce you: 5 For many will come in my name saying, I am Christ: and they will seduce many.
6 And you shall hear of wars and rumours of wars. See that ye be not troubled. For these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there shall be pestilences, and famines, and earthquakes in places: 8 Now all these are the beginnings of sorrows. 9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall put you to death: and you shall be hated by all nations for my name's sake. 10 And then shall many be scandalized: and shall betray one another: and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall seduce many. 12 And because iniquity hath abounded, the charity of many shall grow cold. 13 But he that shall persevere to the end, he shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom, shall be preached in the whole world, for a testimony to all nations, and then shall the consummation come. 15 When therefore you shall see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place: he that readeth let him understand. (Matthew 24: 1-15.)
Father George Leo Haydock’s commentary on these verses explains the Catholic teaching concerning the dispersal of most of the Abrahamic Jews from the Holy Land by the pagan Romans, explaining how the first attempt by the Jews to resettle in the Holy Land under the reign of Julian the Apostate resulted in their own destruction of the last remaining stones of the Temple of Herod:
After the fatigues of preaching and teaching, Jesus towards evening left the temple, as it is in the Greek, eporeueto apo tou ierou, and went towards Mount Olivet, where he was accustomed to spend his nights, as we learn from St. Luke, chap. xxi. ver. 37. (Jansenius) — His disciples came to shew him the buildings, not moved by curiosity, for they had seen them frequently before, but by pity; because he had on a former occasion, and only just before in Jerusalem, threatened the destruction of the temple and city, hoping that the splendour and magnificence of so fine a structure, consecrated to God, might alter his determination, as St. Hilary observes. But the anger of God, provoked by sins, is not to be appeased with stones and buildings. He therefore answered them: (Jansenius)
Ver. 2. Do you see all these things? Examine again and again all this magnificence, that the sentence of heaven may appear more striking. — A stone upon a stone. We need not look on this as an hyperbole. The temple burnt by the Romans, and afterwards even ploughed up. See Gregory of Nazianzus, orat. ii. cont. Julianum; Theodoret, lib. iii. Histor. chap. xx. &c. (Witham) — Julian the apostate, wishing to falsify the predictions of Daniel and of Jesus Christ, attempted to rebuild the temple. For this purpose, he assembled the chief among the Jews, and asking them why they neglected the prescribed sacrifices, was answered, that they could not offer any where else but in the temple of Jerusalem. Upon this he ordered them to repair to Jerusalem, to rebuild their temple, and restore their ancient worship, promising them his concurrence in carrying on the work. This filled the Jews with inexpressible joy. Hence flocking to Jerusalem, they began with scorn and triumph to insult over the Christians. Contributions came in from all parts. The Jewish women stripped themselves of their most costly ornaments. The emperor opened his treasures to furnish every thing necessary for the building. The most able workmen were convened from all parts; persons of the greatest distinction were appointed to direct the work; and the emperor’s friend, Alipius, was set over the whole, with orders to carry on the work without ceasing, and to spare no expense. All materials were laid in to an immense quantity. The Jews of both sexes bore a share in the labour; the women helping to dig the ground, and carry away the rubbish in their aprons and gowns. It is even said that the Jews appointed some pick-axes, spades, and baskets, to be made of silver, for the honour of the work. Till this time the foundations and some ruins of the walls had remained, as appears from St. Cyril, in his catechism xv. n. 15, and Eusebius, Dem. Evang. lib. viii. p. 406. These ruins the Jews first demolished with their own hands, thus concurring to the accomplishment of our Saviour’s prediction. They next began to dig a new foundation, in which many thousands were employed. But what they had thrown up in the day, was, by repeated earthquakes, the night following cast back again into the trench. When Alipius the next day was earnestly pressing on the work, with the assistance of the governor of the province, there issued, says Ammianus Marcellinus, such horrible balls of fire out of the earth near the foundations, as to render the place inaccessible from time to time to the scorched workmen. And the victorious element continuing in this manner obstinately bent, as it were, to drive them to a distance, Alipius, thought proper to abandon, though reluctantly, the enterprise. This great event happened in the beginning of the year 363, and with many very astonishing circumstances is recorded both by Jews and Christians. See the proofs and a much fuller account of this astonishing event, which all the ancient fathers describe as indubitable, in Alban Butler’s life of St. Cyril of Jerusalem, March 18th. Thus they so completely destroyed whatever remained of the ancient temple, that there was not left one stone upon another; nor were they permitted by heaven even to begin the new one. (Maldonatus) (See Matthew 24 – Haydock Commentary Online.)
Second, it was, therefore, in direct defiance of God’s Holy Will that Theodore Herzl, the founder of International Zionism, that the Talmudic Jews began to settle in Palestine Transjordan following World War I and then, in massive numbers, following World War II as many of them used the “collective guilt” card for the crimes of the Third Reich even Adolph Hitler was the direct result of the Protestant and Judeo-Masonic effort to overthrow the Social Reign of Christ the King and to marginalize, if not entirely replace, the temporal power of His Catholic Church in all that pertains to the good of souls.
Third, those who are so ignorant or arrogant to defy God’s Holy Will wind up bringing endless suffering, hardship, and miseries into their own lives if they do not repent of their sins and seek out the ineffable mercy of the Divine Redeemer, Christ the King, in the Sacred Tribunal of Penance after having converted to or, in the case of baptized Catholics, returned to the Holy Faith, outside of which thee is no salvation and without which there can be no true social order. There has been endless conflict in the Middle East since after World War II precisely because of the Zionist claims to lands that do not belong to them any more than they have belonged to their Abrahamic ancestors since 70 A.D.
Fourth, thus, although even the State of Israel was founded in bloodshed of Palestinian Arabs, both Christians and Mohammedans, whose ancestors had lived there for centuries, and has been marked by the continual oppression and persecution of Palestinian Arabs to such an extent that most, although not all, of the Christians among them had to flee, its existence is a fait accompli, and, as such, has the right to legitimate self-defense and the protection of its innocent civilian population.
Fifth, this having been noted, however, the State of Israel has been led by racialists who believe that all Arabs are sub-humans and, at best, are to be tolerated and subject to dislocation and/or extermination as circumstances have “required,” something that was summarized by a Talmudic rabbi as follows:
Consider the words of one Mordecai Elihayu, former chief rabbi of the Sephardic branch of Talmudic Judaism, that were written in 2007:
All civilians living in Gaza are collectively guilty for Kassam attacks on Sderot, former Sephardi chief rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu has written in a letter to Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.
Eliyahu ruled that there was absolutely no moral prohibition against the indiscriminate killing of civilians during a potential massive military offensive on Gaza aimed at stopping the rocket launchings.
The letter, published in Olam Katan [Small World], a weekly pamphlet to be distributed in synagogues nationwide this Friday, cited the biblical story of the Shechem massacre (Genesis 34) and Maimonides' commentary (Laws of Kings 9, 14) on the story as proof texts for his legal decision.
According to Jewish war ethics, wrote Eliyahu, an entire city holds collective responsibility for the immoral behavior of individuals. In Gaza, the entire populace is responsible because they do nothing to stop the firing of Kassam rockets.
The former chief rabbi also said it was forbidden to risk the lives of Jews in Sderot or the lives of IDF soldiers for fear of injuring or killing Palestinian noncombatants living in Gaza.
Eliyahu could not be reached for an interview. However, Eliyahu's son, Shmuel Eliyahu, who is chief rabbi of Safed, said his father opposed a ground troop incursion into Gaza that would endanger IDF soldiers. Rather, he advocated carpet bombing the general area from which the Kassams were launched, regardless of the price in Palestinian life.
"If they don't stop after we kill 100, then we must kill a thousand," said Shmuel Eliyahu. "And if they do not stop after 1,000 then we must kill 10,000. If they still don't stop we must kill 100,000, even a million. Whatever it takes to make them stop."
In the letter, Eliyahu quoted from Psalms. "I will pursue my enemies and apprehend them and I will not desist until I have eradicated them."
Eliyahu wrote that "This is a message to all leaders of the Jewish people not to be compassionate with those who shoot [rockets] at civilians in their houses." (http://www.jpost.com.)
This is not an anomaly. The Chabad branch of Talmudic Judaism has posted on a website its rabbinical "teaching" on the belief that the "souls of the nation," meaning the Gentiles, emanate from the nether world and are thus capable of doing no good in this world:
For in the [case of the] Jew, this soul of kelipah is derived from the kelipah called “nogah”, which also contains good; and the good within this nefesh gives rise to these positive natural traits.
[This kelipah] is from the esoteric “Tree of Knowledge” [which is comprised] of good and evil
The souls of the nations of the world, however, emanate from the other, unclean kelipot which contain no good whatever, as is written in Etz Chayim, Portal 49, ch. 3, that all the good that the nations do, is done out of selfish motives.
Since their nefesh emanates from kelipot which contain no good, it follows that any good done by them is for selfish motives.
So the Gemara comments on the verse, “The kindness of the nations is sin” — that all the charity and kindness done by the nations of the world is only for their self-glorification...
When a Jew acts in a benevolent manner he is motivated mainly out of concern for the welfare of his fellow. The proof of this is that were his fellow not to need his help, this would give him greater pleasure than the gratification derived from his act of kindness.
Concerning the nations of the world, however, this is not so. Their motivation is not the welfare of their fellow; rather, it stems from a self-serving motive — the desire for self-glorification, a feeling of gratification, and the like.
It should be noted that among the nations of the world there are also to be found those whose souls are derived from kelipat nogah. Called “the pious ones of the nations of the world,” these righteous individuals are benevolent not out of selfish motives but out of a genuine concern for their fellow. Whether it is the immoral efforts of the State of Israel to bomb West Beirut in 1982 in an effort to kill Yassir Arafat, the founder of the Palestine Liberation Organization, and to crush its terrorists, or the immoral efforts to impose a “final solution” upon the Hezbollah or Hamas, the leaders of the State of Israel, despite their supposed efforts to warn innocent civilians to flee from impending revenge attacks, have almost no regard for the lives of non-Jews.
Sixth, contrary to what many American libertarians, many of whom are ever eager to overlook the intrinsic evil of Communism and murderous Communist tyrants, including Joseph Stalin, Mao Zedong, Ho Chi Minh, Fidel Castro, and others, Mohammedanism is not now nor can will it ever be a “religion of peace.”
Mohammedanism is a false, blasphemous religion that has no right from God to exist. It is based on a rejection of the Most Holy Trinity and was founder by a pederast who wanted to justify his own deviancy, including polygamy, in the name of a false god, who he believed demanded the extermination of infidels.
A book that was published in 2007, The Legacy of Jihad: Islamic Holy War and the Fate of Non-Muslims, which was edited by Andrew G. Bostom, M.D., provided documentation, drawn from primary Mohammedan documents and historical accounts of actual events, as to how Mohammedanism has been a religion of bloodshed and the persecution of “infidels” from the time that Mohammed arrived in Medina in the year 622 A.D., thereby embarking upon the first “Jihad” against non-Moslems:
September 622 [A.D.] marks a defining event in Islam—the hijra. Muhammed and a coterie of followers persecuted by fellow Banu Qurayza tribesmen fled from Mecca to Yathrib, later known as Medina. The Muslim sources described Yathrib as having been a Jewish city founded by a Palestinian diaspora population that had survived the revolt against the Romans. The Jews of the north Arabian peninsula were highly productive oasis farmers. These Jews were eventually joined by itinerant Arab tribes from southern Arabia who settled adjacent to them and transitioned to a sedentary existence.
Following Muhammad’s arrival, he reordered Medinian society. The Jewish tribes were isolated, some were then expelled, and the remainder attacked and exterminated. Muhammad distributed among his followers as “booty” the vanquished Jews property—plantations, fields, and houses—using this “booty” to established a well-equipped cavalry corps. For examine within a year after the massacre (in 627) of the Jewish tribe, the Banu Qurayza, Muhammad, according to a summary of sacralized Muslim sources, waited for some act of aggression on the parts of the Jews of Khaybar, whose fertile lands and villages he had destined for his followers to furnish an excuse for an attack.
But no such opportunity offering, he resolved in the autumn of the year (i.e., 628) on a sudden and unprovoked invasion of their territory. Ali (later, the fourth “Rightly Guided Caliph,” especially revered by Shi’ite Muslims) asked Muhammad why the Jews of Khaybar were being attacked, since they were peaceful farmers, tending their oasis, and was told by Muhammad he must compel them to submit to Islamic laws. The renowned twentieth-century scholar of Islam David Margoliouth observed aptly:
Now the fact that a community was idolatrous, or Jewish, or anything but Mohammedan, warranted a murderous attack upon it.
Muhammad’s subsequent interactions with the Christians of northern Africa followed a similar pattern, noted by the scholar of Islam’s origins Richard Bell. The “relationship” with the Christians ended as that with the Jews (ended)—in war,” because Islam as presented by Muhammad was a divine truth, and unless Christians accepted this formulation, which acceped this formulation, which included Muhammad’s authority, “conflict was inevitable, and there could have been no real peace while he [Muhammad] lived.”
The modern Muslim scholar Ali Dashti’s biography Muhammad 23 Years” A Study of the Prophetic Career of Mohammad has also chronicled Muhammad’s “changed course” at Medina, where the Muslim prophet begins to “issue orders for war” in multiple and repeated Koranic revelations (sura [chapter] 9 being composed almost entirely of such war proclamations—permanent injunctions against pagans, Jews, and Christians). Prior to enumerating the numerous assassinations Muhammad ordered, Ali Dashti observes:
Islam was gradually transformed from a purely spiritual mission into a militant and punitive organization whose progress depended on booty from raids and [tax] revenue. . . The Prophet’s steps in the decade after hejra [emigration from Mecca to Medina] were directed to the end of establishing and consolidating a religion-based state. Some of the deeds done on his command [were] killings of prisoners and political assassinations.
Thus Muhammad himself waged a series of pro-jihad campaigns to subdue the Jews, Christians, and pagans of Arabia. As numerous modern-day pronouncements by leading Muslim theologians confirm (see, for example, Yusuf Al-Qaradawi’s “The Prophet Muhammad as a Jihad Model”), Muhammadan jurisconsults and theologians from eighth to ninth centuries onward, based on their interpretation of Koranic verses, and long chapters in the “hadith,” or acts and sayings of the Muslim prophet Muhammad, especially those recorded by al-Bukhari (d. 869) and Muslim (d. 874).
Ibn Kaldun (d. 1406), jurist, renowned philosopher, historian and sociologist, summarized these consensus opinions form five centuries of prior Muslim jurisprudence with regard to the uniquely Islamic institution of Jihad:
In the Muslim community, the holy war is a religious duty, because of the universalism of the [Muslim] mission and [the obligation to] convert everybody to Islam either by persuasion or by force. . . . The other religious groups did not have a universal mission, and the holy war was not a religious duty for them, save only for purposes of defense. . . . Islam is under obligation to gain power over other nations.
Classical Islam jurists such as Ibn Khaldum also formulated the concepts of Dar al Islam and Dar al Harb (Arabic for “The House of Islam and the House of War”). Armand Abel, the leading twentieth-century expert on the Muslim conception of Dar al Harb, summarizes as it follows:
Together with the duty of the “war in the way of God” (or jihad), this universalistic aspiration would lead the Moslems to see the world as being divided fundamentally into two parts. On the one hand there was that part of the world where Islam prevailed, where salvation had been announced, where the religion that ought to reign was practiced; this was Dar al Islam. On the other hand, there was the part which still awaited the establishment of the saving religion and which constituted, by definition, the object of the holy war. This was the Dar al Harb. The latter, in the view of Moslem jurists, was not populated by people who had a natural right not to practice Islam, but rather by people destined to become Moslems who, through impiousness, refused to accept this great benefit. Since they were destined sooner or later to be converted at the approach of the victorious armies of the Prophet’s successor, or else killed for their rebelliousness, they were the rebel subjects of the Caliph. Their kings were nothing but odious tyrants who, by opposing the progress of the saving religion together with their armies, were following a Satanic inspiration and rising up against the designs of Providence. And so no respite should be granted them, no truce; perpetual war should their lot, waged in the course of the winter and summer ghazu [razzias]. If the sovereign of the country thus attacked desired peace, it was possible for him, just like for any tributary or community, to pay the tribute for himself and for his subjects. Thus the [Byzantine] Empress Irene [d. 803] “purchased peace at the price of her humiliation,” according to the formula stated in the dhimma contract itself, by paying 70,000 pounds in gold annually to the Caliph of Baghdad. Many other princes agreed in this way to come tributaries—often after long struggles—and to see their dominions pass from the status of dar al Harb to that of dar al Sulh. In this way, those of their subjects who lived within the boundaries of the territory ruled by the Caliphate were spared the uncertainty of being exposed arbitrarily, without any guarantee, to the military operations of the summer ghazu and the winter ghazu: indeed, anything within the reach of the Moslem armies as they advanced, being property of impious men and rebels, were mercilessly consigned to the lot specified in the Koranic verse about the sword, and their women and children were treated like things. (Andrew G. Bostom, M.D., “Prefect to the Paperback Edition,” The Legacy of Jihad: Islamic Holy War and the Fate of Non-Muslims, Prometheus Books, Amherst, New York, 2008, pp. ii-iv.)
Bostom went on to describe how non-Muslims are viewed by faithful, believing Mohammedans:
As described by the great twentieth-century scholar of Islamic law Joseph Schaact,
A non-Muslim who is not protected by a treaty is called harbi, “in a state of war,” “enemy alien; his life and property are completely unprotected by law. (Andrew G. Bostom, M.D., “Prefect to the Paperback Edition,” The Legacy of Jihad: Islamic Holy War and the Fate of Non-Muslims, Prometheus Books, Amherst, New York, 2008, p. v.)
Far from being a “religion of peace,” Mohammedanism is by its very demonic nature a religion of war and aggression against all “infidels.”
It is nevertheless the case that the past two presidents of the United States of America, George Walker Bush and Barack Hussein Obama/Barry Soetoro, have referred to this false, blasphemous religion as a “religion of peace,” and Jorge Mario Bergoglio has gone so far as to ignore all Mohammedan attempts to invade France, Italy, and Austria or their persecution of Catholics in Mohammedan-dominated nations, both in the Iberian Peninsula before they were expelled by Ferdinand and Isabella in 1492 and contemporaneously throughout the world. The truth is otherwise:
While descending the slopes of the Pyrenees the Arabs also overran Aquitaine. In 732, having conquered Duke Eudes, they entered Bordeaux, where they burned down all the churches, and advanced as far as the gates of Poitiers, setting fire to the Basilica of Saint Hillary Outside the Walls. Then they set out for the capital of Gaulish Christendom, that is, Tours, their objective being both spiritual and material to strike a blow against the prestige of Saint Martin and to lay hold of the riches of the shrine. Bu they did not reach their goal: one Saturday in October [October 10, 732], the Frankish commander Charles Martel stopped them not far from Poitiers.
Besides, they found the Mediterranean regions more attractive. Around 734 or 735, they stormed and took Arles and Avignon. From the coast of Provence and Italy, their sailors preceded the cavalry or substituted for them. In 846 they disembarked at the mouth of the Tiber, seized Ostia, went up the river, refrained from attacking the wall of Rome, but pillaged the basilicas of Saints Peter and Paul, which at that time were both outside the walls. This alarm prompted, as a countermeasure, the construction of a new Roman enclosure encompassing Saint Peter’s and rejoining the old one at the Castel Santagnelo, the old mausoleum of the Emperor Hadrian. In 849 the Muslims attempted a new landing at Ostia; then, every year from around 857 on, they threatened the Roman seaboard. (Andrew G. Bostom, M.D., “Prefect to the Paperback Edition,” The Legacy of Jihad: Islamic Holy War and the Fate of Non-Muslims, Prometheus Books, Amherst, New York, 2008, p. 421. Appendix B contains material about the false prophet Mohammed’s commitment to violence as a bedrock foundation of his false religion.)
Thus, you see, Talmudists and Mohammedans, both of whom have souls that are captive to the devil by means of Original Sin and are thus inflamed to commit more and more Actual Sins to accomplish their goals even though they are not aware of this fact, are committed to the subjugation, if not the elimination, of each other. There can never be any kind of longstanding absent of conflict when the souls of men are in constant conflict with God, His Holy Will, and His Holy Laws, which admit of no exceptions at any time for any reason.
Neither the Mohammedans nor the Talmudists are “men of good will.” Each is prone to hatred and violence. Both of these false religions are instruments of Antichrist, who is using them to destroy all false religions in preparation for the final battle between himself and Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We can have no sympathies for false religion of Mohammedanism nor of Talmudic Judaism, but we can and must pray for the conversion of all those who suffer from the injustices that one merciless band of barbarians imposes upon the other. The merciless will always attack the heartless, and the heartless will always show no mercy to the merciless.
Mohammedanism is a blasphemous, false religion that is violent of its very nature. The members of Hamas are faithful to the Koran by killing infidels as the murderous Zionists of the State of Israel are being faithful to the dictates of Talmudism and Judeo-Masonry to make the innocent suffer with the guilty when Jewish blood has been shed. Mohammedanism is no more a "religion of peace" than Talmudism or even conciliarism itself, whose lords make warfare upon Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
This having been noted, however, it is important to note that we must treat all men as we would Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. There are many individual Mohammedans and Jews who have much natural charity and, truth be told, are more polite and kind than many believing Catholics. Although the Mohammedan and Talmudic religions contain no "good will" whatsoever as each is hiedous in the sight of the true God of Divine Revelation, the Most Holy Trinity, there are indvidiaul Mohammedans and Jews who are naturally cultured and who display a good will in natural manner that can be the basis of their converting to the true Faith if we reciprocate their courtesies and pray fervently to Our Lady and to Saint Vincent Ferrer for their conversion.
Also, of course, we must pray for the innocents on both sides who have been attacked, praying most especially for their conversion to the true Faith before they die so that they have offer forgiveness to those who persecute them and to seek true justice when necessary without malice and according to the terms of the Just War Theory, the precepts of which are summarized in Appendix A.
Seventh, the current conflict between the State of Israel and Hamas is just part of a broader conflict that has its root causes in the rejection of Catholicism as the one and only foundation of peace in the souls of men, which is the absolute precondition, although never an infallible guarantor because of the vestigial after-effects of Original Sin, for a just peace within and among nations.
Hamas can impose all the suffering of innocent civilians, decimate families, seize hostages and display their barbarism for all the world to see without for a moment realizing that these acts of wanton violence can never be the basis for “solving” their “Israeli problem” any more than the Zionists who govern the State of Israel can “solve” their “Palestinian problem” by the decimation of civilian population centers, leaving the refugees who manage to leave before the onset of the pending ground invasion no place to return after the invasion has run its course if, that is, the Israelis do not decide to stay in Gaza permanently and install a puppet regime to its liking.
Eighth, although Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned civilians in Gaza to flee to the south, the Israelis have already bombed “strategic targets” in Gaza City that have destroyed civilian residences and have turned off the Palestinians supplies of food, water, and electricity. This disaster was accurately described by the conciliar and Orthodox authorities in the region as follows:
Today, an emergency committee of the Patriarchs and Heads of the Churches in Jerusalem met for prayer and consultation over the grave humanitarian crisis the has befallen all of us.
Our beloved Holy Land has changed dramatically over the past week. We are witnessing a new cycle of violence with an unjustifiable attack against all civilians. Tensions continue to rise and more innocent and vulnerable people are paying the ultimate price as the dramatic level of death and destruction in Gaza clearly show.
The order to evacuate the north of Gaza and to ask 1.1 million people — including all the members of our Christian communities there — to relocate to the south within 24 hours will only deepen an already disastrous catastrophe. Gaza’s entire population is being deprived of electricity, water, fuel supplies, food, and medicine. According to UN sources, 423,000 people have already been displaced because of the destruction of their homes. Many civilians in Gaza have said to us that there are no realistic ways in which they can evacuate to safety in any direction.
We call upon the State of Israel, with the support of the International Community, to allow humanitarian supplies to enter Gaza so that the thousands of innocent civilians may receive medical treatment and basic supplies. Moreover, we call upon all parties to de-escalate this war in order to save innocent lives while still serving the cause of justice.
Finally, in support of all those who have suffered in this war and of the families reeling from the violence, we call upon the people of our congregations and all those of goodwill around the world to observe a Day of Prayer and Fasting on Tuesday, October 17th.
There is yet time to stop the hatred.
— The Patriarchs and Heads of the Churches in Jerusalem. (Christian leaders in Jerusalem urge Israel to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza.)
Injustice breeds injustice.
Although the Hamas attack upon the Israelis was barbaric, there would never have been such an attack if the leaders of the Zionist State of Israel, aided and abetted by American presidential administrations and Christian Zionists in the halls of Congress and from the pulpits of Protestant meeting halls that are actually temples of error and not churches whatsoever, if the Zionists had not taken over Palestine seventy-five years ago and if successors of this terrorist state’s founders had not placed their own citizens in harm’s way by encouraging settlements in the occupied territories. The people of Gaza do not deserve “collective punishment” of the most inhumane kind because of the inhumanity of Hamas.
A secular commentator noted the plight of the Palestinian people as follows:
It’s not a real war. The bloody carnage in Israel and Palestine that we now witness is a large prison uprising being crushed by Israel’s military might.
M-16 lightweight rifles against Merkava tanks; home-made rockets (little more than flying pipe bombs) versus US-state of the art F-15 and F-16 fighter bombers; a few thousand Hamas fighters versus 600,000 or more Israeli soldiers and police backed by drones and heavy artillery.
American-made bombs and rockets are now shattering what’s left of Gaza, one of the world’s most densely populated places. Israel, which suffered over 1,200 dead innocent civilians from a Hamas-led attack on a music festival and waves of rocket barrages, vows Biblical revenge on the Palestinians.
Interestingly, the US supplied warplanes, bombs and rockets pounding Palestinian fighters and civilians are being used in contravention of the US Arms Control Act which forbids use of American arms against civilian targets.
Heedless of US law, the Biden administration is in full pro-war hysteria over Gaza. The next US elections are getting closer. The US state-guided media is also in full war mode, portraying events in Gaza as an attack on the United States.
The war party in Washington is baying for war against Iran which, as far as we know now, had no primary role in the Gaza attacks. One will likely be found or manufactured by Israel’s right-wing militants and Fox News.
I have been watching and writing about the agony of Palestine for some 70 years. I’ve watched what was to have been a small Jewish enclave grow into a powerful Sparta with some 200 nuclear weapons and unprecedented control of the US Congress and media.
Gaza, this miserable, squalid human garbage dump, is a giant open-air prison packed with 2.2 million Palestinian refugees driven from the newly created state of Israel in 1948. Israel and its close ally Egypt keep Gaza bottled up on its land and sea borders. Palestinians are only allowed to fish along the shore. Coastal gas and oil reserves have been expropriated by Israel and Egypt.
The United States, Israel’s patron and financier, reveled in the move of its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, a move seen by Bible Belt religious fundamentalists as a key step to the return of the Christian Messiah and Armageddon in which the rest of us, Jews included, are fated to be burned alive. The American Republicans, who have become a far-right theocratic party, cheered this good news.
There was no joy in Gaza. This miserable, squalid human garbage dump is a giant open-air prison packed with 2.2 million Palestinian refugees driven from the newly created state of Israel in 1948. Israel and its close ally Egypt keep Gaza bottled up on its land and sea borders. Palestinians are only allowed to fish along the shore. Coastal gas and oil reserves have been expropriated by Israel and Egypt.
Gaza’s two million people subsist on the edge of starvation. Israel openly boasts that it allows just enough food into the enclave to prevent outright starvation. Chemicals to treat water are banned. Electricity runs only a few hours daily because the power plant was bombed by Israel’s US-supplied air force. Hospitals have almost no medicines. In short, wartime conditions in the open-air prison. Even the wretched animals in Gaza Zoo are starving. Hamas fighters have reportedly even killed cats and dogs.
The intensive punishment of Gaza, a crime under international law, began after its people voted in a free election for the Hamas movement over the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) which is more or less run by Israel and the United States. Israel helped found Hamas in 1987 to split the PLO, but then sought, with the US, to destroy the organization, branding it ‘terrorist.’
Israel has extensively used US-supplied arms and money to fight Hamas in Gaza, a clear violation of the Arms Export Control Act of 1976 that bars the use of American weapons against civilian populations.
The question remains, where did all the Palestinians come from? Israel long claimed there were no such people, or a made-up nationality. This was a pretty rich claim coming from Israelis, many of whom hailed from Russia, Poland and Eastern Europe and who had assumed biblical identities and asserted a direct link to the Hebrews who had lived two thousand years earlier in the Levant.
When Israel was created by the US and UN (with Soviet support) in 1948, from 750,000 to one million native Palestinians were driven from their ancestral home at gunpoint or panicked to flight by massacres and ethnic cleansing. Their villages were bulldozed.
When Israel conquered and annexed the West Bank and the Old City of Jerusalem in 1967, another 500,000 Palestinians were made refugees. Some 50,000-250,000 Syrians were driven by Israel from the strategic Golan Heights. Bedouins were driven from Israel’s Negev Desert.
There are only two ways out of this bloody mess. Either drive millions of Palestinians into the desert in an act of genocide or create a long-delayed Palestinian state mandated by the United Nations but which has been long blocked by US vetoes and Israel resistance. (How Much Longer Will Palestinians Be Martyr People?.)
This analysis is very good up to its conclusion as the only true way out of this mess runs through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary and the conversion of one and all to the true Faith, whereupon all exclaim “Benedictus qui venit in nomine Domini. Hosanna in excelsis.”
Ninth, despite all the posturing by officials of the government of the United States of America about terrorism, the truth remains that this country has long been the leading practitioner and exporter of worldwide terrorism, the most egregious form of which, the slaughter of the innocent preborn both by chemical and surgical means, has been taking place in one form or another for a century and is being aggressively promoted by the current administration of the morally decadent stumblebum who spends much of his time in Delaware when not hosting barbecues in times of world conflicts.
Additionally, of course, President Andrew Jackson, who served from March 4, 1829, to March 4, 1837, was a bloodthirsty hater of Indians, engaged in a massive exercise in American social engineering in the forced relocation in 1831 of the Cherokees, Creeks, Seminoles, Chickasaws and, Choctawas from Georgia and Florida into what is now Oklahoma. Even his fellow Freemason and Tennesseean, United States Representative David Crockett, voted against the Indian Removal Act of 1830. Jackson’s darkened, Masonic heart was completely unmoved by the cruelty experienced along the Trail of Tears and the several thousand deaths that it caused, evoking, of course, memories of the Grand Derangement of the Acadians out of Nova Scotia in 1755 (see Applause For Killers).
This is part of what Crockett wrote in 1834, three years after the removal of the Indians had commenced:
I have almost given up the Ship as lost. I have gone So far as to declare that if he martin vanburen is elected that I will leave the united States for I never will live under his kingdom. before I will Submit to his Government I will go to the wildes of Texas. I will consider that government a Paridice to what this will be. In fact at this time our Republican Government has dwindled almost into insignificancy our [boasted] land of liberty have almost Bowed to the yoke of Bondage. Our happy days of Republican principles are near at an end when a few is to transfer the many. (Davy Crockett on the removal of the Cherokees.)
Unfortunately for Davy Crockett, he did not understand that he was witnessing even at that early stage in American history the degeneration of a nation founded on false, naturalistic, anti-Incarnational, religiously-indifferentist and semi-Pelagian principles. He thought Texas was to be a place of refuge. Many think so today as well. While Texas is a freer state than most, there is really no hiding place from the slave drivers. No hiding place at all, especially when one considers the following anti-Catholic, anti-clerical Masons who wrote the Texas Declaration of Independence in 1836:
“When the Federal Republican Constitution of their country [Mexico], which they have sworn to support, no longer has a substantial existence, and the whole nature of their government has been forcibly changed, without their consent, from a restricted federative republic, composed of sovereign states, to a consolidated central military despotism, in which every interest is disregarded but that of the army and the priesthood, both the eternal enemies of civil liberty, the everready minions of power, and the usual instruments of tyrants.” (Texas Declaration of Independence, March 2, 1836.)
As I will never cease to remind the readership of this site, a Constitution that is based on no need to even recognize Christ the King, no less submit to His Social Kingship over men and their nations by means of the Indirect Power of His Catholic Church in all that pertains to the good of souls, will produce men who have respect neither for the laws of God or the true meaning of its own text.
The sixteenth President of the United States of America, Abraham Lincoln, did not exactly "cotton" to political opposition during the War Between the States from 1861 to 1865, as he intimidated judges, shut down newspapers, suspended the writ of habeas corpus without an Act of Congress, held opponents in prison without trial and put civilians on trial in military courts at a time when civilian courts were open. This supposedly “righteous” man unleashed a wave of terror in the South, especially in General William Tecumseh Sherman’s “March to the Sea” between November 15, 1864, and December 21, 1864 that laid waste the property of innocent Southerners and killed untold thousands of innocent human beings (see March to the Sea Begins). This atheist and statist, who used religious references to fool the masses, set the Federal government on a course of expansion that has not only increased since that time, especially after the presidencies of Theodore Roosevelt, Thomas Woodrow Wilson and, of course, the aforementioned Franklin Delano Roosevelt. And this is just a partial listing of what led John Wilkes Booth to cry out, "Sic temper tyrannis!" as he jumped onto the stage of the Ford Theater in Washington, District of Columbia, on Good Friday, April 14, 1865, from the balcony where he had just shot Lincoln in the head, a wound that would take Lincoln's life early the next morning, Holy Saturday, April 15, 1865.
Suppression of opposition to American involvement in World War I under the administration of President Thomas Woodrow Wilson was so extensive that Senator Hiram Johnson of California, who had run as former President Theodore Roosevelt's Vice Presidential running-mate on the Progressive (Bull Moose) Party ticket in 1912 when Wilson was running for his first term as President against Roosevelt and then President William Howard Taft, who had defeated Roosevelt, to say on the floor of the United States Senate: "It is now a crime for anyone to say anything or print anything against the government of the United States. The punishment for doing so is to go to jail" (quoted in Dr Paul Johnson's Modern Times). (See also my Fascists for Freedom.)
Just as an aside, President Thomas Woodrow Wilson wanted to use the unconstitutional Federal Reserve System, created in an act passed by the Congress of the United States of America and signed into law by Wilson on December 23, 1913, as the means to centralize the banking and monetary systems under the authority of the government of the United States of America in order to restrict the legitimate freedom of Americans to control their own private property and to make private industry dependent upon the "direction" provided it by governmental regulators and overseers. It was for this reason as well that Wilson saw to it that Congress enacted legislation, following the ratification of the Sixteenth Amendment in 1913, to create our current system of confiscatory taxation on our incomes. And it was Wilson, of course, who believed that the Masonic revolutionaries in Mexico, aping the "example" established by the French Revolutionaries, could "build" or "engineer" the "better" society in Our Lady's country by the killing of thousands upon thousands of Catholics:
Wilson replied [in 1915, to Father Francis Clement Kelley, who was a representative of James Cardinal Gibbons, the Archbishop of Baltimore, for whom Wilson had such contempt that he addressed him as Mister Gibbons]: 'I have no doubt but that the terrible things you mention have happened during the Mexican revolution. But terrible things happened also during the French revolution, perhaps more terrible things than have happened in Mexico. Nevertheless, out of that French revolution came the liberal ideas that have dominated in so many countries, including our own. I hope that out of the bloodletting in Mexico some such good yet may come.'
"Having thus instructed his caller in the benefits which must perforce accrue to mankind out of the systematic robbery, murder, torture and rape of people holding a proscribed religious conviction, the professor of politics [Wilson] suggested that Father Kelley visit Secretary of State Williams Jennings Bryan, who expressed his deepest sympathy. Obviously, the Wilson administration was committed to supporting the revolutionaries (Robert Leckie, American and Catholic, Doubleday, 1970, pp. 274.)
In other words, Thomas Woodrow Wilson really believed that it was "necessary" for the Freemsaonic/Communist Mexican government that ejoyed his favor to kill Catholics, whose "backward" beliefs were impediments to the institutionalization of "liberal values" that required him to suppress all opposition to his policies right here in the United States of America.
The government of the United States of America subjected the states of the Confederate States of America to such war crimes as the William Tecumseh Sherman's burning of Atlanta and his march to the Atlantic Ocean.
Many crimes against innocents were committed by the military forces of the United States of America during World Wars I and II, including the firebombing of Dresden, Germany, and the atomic bombing of the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan, in 1945.
A onetime reader of this site was kind enough some many years ago to provide a very fine summary of yet another attack upon Catholics by the government of the United States of America that occurred during Operation Keelhaul after World War II:
"You may not be aware of it, but Dwight D. Eisenhower was responsible for implementing the very evil repatriation of millions of Eastern European refugees (many of whom were Catholic) who had fled from the communist take over. This evil was code named Operation Keelhaul. Many people actually committed suicide rather than to be forced back to their homeland under Satanic communist rule. The entire Yalta Conference was also part of this whole diabolical plot to further the Judeo-Masonic destruction of Christianity and bring about the reign of antichrist."
The ongoing and never-ending conflicts in the Middle East are just part of the Judeo-Masonic effort to destroy the true Faith and to usher in the reign of antichrist.
Tenth, not to be overlooked in all this is the fact that the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war has been permitted to go on long after a negotiated peace should have been sought by the money, fame ad power hungry Volodymyr Zelensky, who has become the bagman of Kiev while he sends his young man to die as such cannon fodder in a war that has already witnessed attacks upon innocent civilians by both sides without a thought of the Just War Theory. Zelensky, who is a secular, non-observant Jew, must be lamenting the fact that, despite the occasional victory by Ukraine forces in battles with the Russians, the Hamas attack on Israel has displaced him in favor of Benjamin Netanyahu was the principal beneficiary of American sympathy and financial largesse.
Eleventh, cognizant of the fact that the potential for the current conflict to widen to the point where the Islamic Republic of Iran intervenes—or is forced to intervene by an Israeli attack—in it as its grand poohbahs are threatening, one must not get bogged down in the “what ifs” as, horrific as this is, this is all happening within the Providence of God, Who wants us to realize that there is no need for panic or alarm as He will always send us through the loving hands of Our Lady all the graces that we need to carry whatever crosses we may be asked to bear. We must pray always to remain a State of Sanctifying Grace as we are more likely to die from an accident or a health problem rather than even from the actual outbreak of World War III.
Twelfth, the fact that the Israeli-Hamas conflict is occurring at the same time as Jorge Mario Bergoglio's "synod" is taking place at the Aula Paul VI behind the walls of the Occupied Vatican on the West Bank of the Tiber River. The adversary, I believe, is using the Israeli-Hamas conflict that he inspired to distract the attention of Catholics from the predetermined effort by Jorge and his cast of moral reprobates to change Catholic moral theology by claiming that they are only "responding" with "pastoral solutions" to the "suffering" of those who have chosen to commit what are Mortal Sins in the objective nature of things and have no intention of reforming their lives. The leaders of Israel and of the Hamas are providing welcome "cover" for Bergoglio to engage in his "listening sessions" in the shadows while the world's attention is on the moral disaster taking place in the Middle East.
Those of us who are old enough can see in retrospect that this is exactly what happened sixty-one years ago this month as the Cuban Missile Crisis deflected attention from the start of Angelo Roncalli's "Second" Vatican Council, which itself had predetermined results contained in schema that were entirely different from the preparatory documents, which were dispensd with at the very begining of this robber council as Catholics around the world were praying Our Lady's Holy Rosary that World War III might be averted.
Thirteenth, as noted in part one of this commentary, the singularly most tragic aspect of the Hamas attack upon Israeli citizens and the Zionists' response to it is the fact that thousands upon thousands of non-baptized souls are being sent to hell, where they will curse each other for all eternity as the devil mocks them for being so stupid as to hate each other as much as he hates them and their very Creator, Redeemer, and Sanctifier, Whom they themselves mocked in their respective forms of false worship. Yes, this is the greatest tragedy of them all.
Fourteenth, Pope Pius XII issued two encyclical letters on the Palestine Question in 1948, the first of which, Auspicia Quedam, was issued on the very day of Zionist proclamation of the State of Israel on May 1, 1948. Aupsicia Quedam contains an invitation to entrust the peace and protection of the Holy Land to the Immaculate Heart of Mary thus contains an exhortation is as relevant now as it was seventy-five years, five months, fourteen days ago when it was issued:
Today there are appearing certain tokens which give clear proof that the vast community of nations, after such destruction and ruin brought on by the long and terrible war, is resolutely turned to the saving paths of peace.
2. At the moment, a more willing ear is given to those who are striving to restore lost prosperity, to heal discords and to rebuild from the mighty ruins under which we groan than to those who are inciting to mutual and bitter dispute, to hate and dissension, from which nothing else can arise but fresh and more serious evils to the nations.
3. Nevertheless, although We and the Christian people have no light motives of solace and of hope for better times, there are not lacking circumstances and events which cause anxiety to our paternal heart.
4. Even though the war has ceased in nearly every land, still benign peace has not yet dawned on the minds and hearts of all men; indeed, the sky is still heavy with threatening clouds.
5. We, on our part, do not cease to do all in our power to stave off from the family of nations dangers of threatening disasters; but when human means are unequal to the task, then do We appeal in prayer first of all to God; further, We also exhort all our children in Christ, throughout the world, to implore, together with Us, in ardent prayer the Divine assistance.
6. For this reason, it was comforting for Us in past years to appeal earnestly to all — especially to the young so dear to us — to crowd around the altar of the great Mother of God during the month of May imploring the end of a cruel war; so now, similarly today, by means of this encyclical letter, We invite you not to cease from this pious practice and further to prayers add resolutions for Christian renewal and salutary works of penance.
7. Above all, speak to the Virgin Mother of God and our most tender Mother words of most heartfelt thanks for having obtained, through her powerful intercession, the long desired termination of that great world conflagration, and also for so many other graces obtained from the Most High.
8. At the same time, implore her, with renewed prayers, that at long last there may shine forth, as a gift from Heaven, mutual, fraternal and complete peace among all nations and the longed for harmony among all social classes.
Let there be an end to dissensions that redound to no one’s advantage.
Let there be a reconciliation of disputes that often sow the seeds of further misfortunes.
Let international relations, public and private, be fittingly strengthened.
Let religion, the foster mother of all virtues, enjoy the liberty to which she is entitled.
And let men set about their peaceful work of abundant production for the common welfare — with justice their guide and charity their motive.
9. But you are aware, Venerable Brethren, that our prayers are most readily welcomed by the Most Blessed Virgin when they are not merely fleeting and empty words but the outpouring of hearts adorned with the required virtues.
10. See to it, then, as your apostolic zeal will suggest, that these prayers in common during the month of May are matched by a corresponding reform and revival of Christian conduct.
11. For only from Christian virtues may we hope to see the course of history take its proper, orderly direction, and men empowered not only to achieve prosperity in this world with God’s help but also to enjoy, with the infusion of sanctifying grace. unending happiness in Heaven.
12. But there is another special reason today which brings affliction and keen anxiety to our hearts. We mean to refer to the Holy Places of Palestine, which have long been disturbed.
13. Indeed, if there exists any place that ought to be most dear to every cultured person, surely it is Palestine, where, from the dawn of antiquity, such great light of truth shone for all men, where the Word of God made flesh announced, through the angels’ choir, peace to all men; where, finally, Christ hanging on the Cross acquired salvation for all mankind, with arms outstretched as if He were inviting all nations to fraternal harmony; and where He consecrated His precept of charity with the shedding of His blood.
14. We desire, therefore, Venerable Brethren, that supplications be poured forth to the Most Holy Virgin for this request: that the situation in Palestine may at long last be settled justly and thereby concord and peace be also happily established.
15. We place great confidence in the most powerful patronage of Our Heavenly Mother — a patronage which, during this month dedicated to her, innocent children especially will implore in a holy crusade of prayer.
16. It will be precisely your task to invite and stimulate them with all diligence — not only children but also fathers and mothers, who in great numbers should give them leadership and example.
17. We know well that We have never appealed in vain to the ardent zeal which inflames your hearts. That is why We seem to enjoy already the sight of dense multitudes of children, of men and women, crowding the churches to beg from the great Mother of God all the graces and favors of which we stand in need.
18. May she, who has given us Jesus, obtain for us that all those who have wandered from the path of rectitude may straightway return to Him, moved by salutary contrition.
19. May she obtain for us — she is our kindest Mother, who has shown herself always, in the face of every danger, our powerful helper and channel of grace — may she obtain for us, We say, that even in the midst of the grievous need surrounding us a just solution will be found for disputes, and that a firm and free peace will finally dawn resplendent for the Church and for all nations.
20. Some years ago, as all will remember, while the late war was still in its fury, when human means showed themselves to be uncertain and inadequate to that terrible conflagration, We addressed our fervent prayers to the all merciful Redeemer, invoking the powerful patronage of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
21. And even as our predecessor of immortal memory, Leo XIII, at the dawn of the twentieth century saw fit to consecrate the whole human race to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, so We have likewise, in the guise of representative of the whole human family which He redeemed, desired to dedicate it in turn to the Immaculate Heart of the Virgin Mary.
22. It is our wish, consequently, that wherever the opportunity suggests itself, this consecration be made in the various dioceses as well as in each of the parishes and families. And We are confident that abundant blessings and favors from Heaven will surge forth from this private and public consecration.
23. In token of these blessings, and in pledge of our paternal affection, We impart from a full heart the Apostolic Benediction to each of you, Venerable Brethren, to all those who make generous answer to this our letter of exhortation, and particularly to the numerous throngs of our most dear children. (Pope Pius XII, Auspicia Qaedam, May 1, 1948.)
Thus it is, good readers, that we, as always, must redouble our own efforts to quit our sins, be reconciled unto God through the ministration of a true priest in the Sacred Tribunal of Penance as he applies to us the merits of Our Blessed Saviour Jesus Christ’s Redemptive Act upon our immortal souls, seek to be converted more and more to the image and likeness of High Priest and King, and never cease in our tender, filial devotion to His Most Blessed Mother by means of her Most Holy Rosary and of our total consecration to her Divine Son through her own Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart.
May we always be ready to exclaim in our own lives that which all in the world, including in the Holy Land, must proclaim: “Benedictus qui venit in nomine Domini. Hosanna in excelsis.”

A Distillation and Summary of the Just War Theory's Precepts
No President of the United States of America has ever governed according to principles of Catholic truth, no less to do what civil leaders are supposed to do, namely, foster those conditions wherein citizens can better sanctify and thus save their souls as members of the Catholic Faith, outside of which there is no salvation and without which there can be no true social order. The state of nations depends upon the state of the souls of its citizens, and no amount of ranting or raving about how our current situation domestically and internationally has spiraled out of control because most men in most nations around the world have souls that are captive to the devil by means of what are Mortal Sins in the objective order of things—and thus affect the intellects and wills of those who commit them whether or not they know it—and/or are held captive to the devil by means of Original Sin. In actual fact, of course, there are far more unbaptized souls around the world than those who are genuinely baptized, and the numbers of the baptized who are in states of Sanctifying Grace are infinitesimally puny in comparison to the over six billion people alive today.
As Catholics, therefore, we must never be swayed by the anxieties of the moment, or the plaintive pleas made for American “interventionism” by the talking heads/babbling fools of naturalism and Americanism on all news cable networks. No canonized saint ever needed to listen to naturalists babble on and on and to know how to view the world and the events in it through the supernatural eyes of the Holy Faith.
The brutal fact that most Catholics in the United States do not want to face squarely is that most of the wars that this nation’s leaders have decided to fight have been unjust according to the principles of the Just War Theory as elucidated by Saint Augustine of Hippo and then refined eight centuries later by Saint Thomas Aquinas. Here is a summary that I hope will help Catholics to understand that the “American Way” has never been the “Catholic Way,” that, is, the “Way of Christ the King”:
Machiavelli’s embrace of amorality in warfare was meant to serve as a fatal blow to the Just War Theory that had been advanced by Saint Augustine, refined by Saint Thomas Aquinas and others, especially the theologians of Salamanca. As has been summarized on this site many times in the past—and in my lectures as a college professor of political science, the requisites of a just war are as follows:
- There must be a wound to justice that poses a real and imminent threat to the good order of nations and/or to the territorial integrity or well-being of innocents by an aggressor. The threat must be real, not imaginary, not concocted for political purposes.
- All peaceful means to avoid armed hostilities must be exhausted. Diplomatic efforts to avert war must be genuine. It was the Holy Father himself who attempted to broker disputes in order to avoid war during the Middle Ages and at various times thereafter.
- A duly constituted authority must make the determinations concerning the waging of war. This means that a legitimate governing authority, one that has not usurped power, or which seeks war unjustly to prosecute plans of territorial expansion and/or nationalistic or ideological ends, guided by right intentions and right principles must be in charge of the decision-making process.
- The goals of a war must be well-defined and have a reasonable chance of being realized. In other words, there must be a reasonable chance for success in the pursuit of narrowly defined goals. Goals are to be defined narrowly so as to limit the harm caused by a needlessly protracted war, yes, even when a nation is prosecuting a just cause.
- The good end being sought must not be outweighed by the foreseen evil to be done. This is known as the Catholic principle of proportionality, which states that a good end can be rendered unjust to pursue if a judgment is made that the amount of the foreseen evil to be done in the prosecution of a just war will cause greater evils than the one the war is being waged to eradicate. This is different than the heresy of proportionalism (heretics use Catholic sounding phrases so as to connect themselves in the minds of Catholics as understanding Catholic principles), which asserts that a preponderance of "good intentions" and of the "relative exigencies of the moment" can make a moral act that is naturally evil capable of being pursued justly on the part of one who believes the weight of the evidence in his case justifies a subjective violation of an objective moral law to do good. Thus, proportionalism, which has been propounded by the late Father Richard McCormick, S.J. (not to be confused with the priest from the Archdiocese of Hartford, Connecticut, who fomented dissent at the University of Notre Dame and in his nationally syndicated columns until his death three years ago, Father Richard McBrien), can be used by a woman to justify the killing of her preborn child. After all, McCormick contended,
- “more good” will be done in her life by killing the child than if she permitted him to interfere unduly with her life's goals. We can never commit an evil act in the prosecution of a just end, and the truth is that much evil has been done by the United States of America in the pursuit of unjust ends.
- As far as is possible, noncombatants must never be deliberately targeted in warfare. The United States has a mixed record when it comes to the realization of this part of the Just War Theory. Our military forces have tried to use remarkable restraint in many instances. Other times, however, they have not. William Tecumseh Sherman used raw terrorism against civilian population centers as he cut a swath of fiery destruction from the Atlantic Ocean to Atlanta during the War between the States. As noted earlier, we aided bloodthirsty revolutionaries in Mexico. Dresden, Hiroshima, and Nagasaki (the latter two of which were known to contain the highest concentrations of Catholics in Japan) were bombed during World War II. Something less than laser precision caused thousands of civilian casualties during the Gulf War and during our continued bombing in Afghanistan, which commenced on October 7, 2001, and during and after the American invasion and occupation of Iraq on March 20, 2003.
- A just cessation to hostilities must be realized as soon as possible. Once again, the record of the United States in this regard is very mixed. The dropping of the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki was done so as to force an unconditional surrender from Japan, something that the Soviets insisted on in the Potsdam Conference as their condition for entering the war against Japan (so that they could recover claims lost in the Russo-Japanese War of 1904-05.) Japan was willing to surrender conditionally. Those who are convinced of their absolute moral and racial superiority over others, though, cannot consider ending hostilities even if it is possible to conclude a peace that is just without having humiliated one's enemies.

Reprising Facts about Mohammed, the First "Radical Muslim"
It was in Medina that Muhammad attained power and transformed Islam from a relatively benign form of monotheism into an militant expansionary political ideology that persists to this day. In Medina we see a very different Muhammad and a very different concept of Islam and a very different Allah. Here Muhammad gradually became radicalized in accordance with the commands of God and became a political ruler and military commander. The Allah of Medina guided his prophet to become a warlord, seeking military conquests. In Medina, Muhammad used the threat of the sword to compel people to embrace Islam. Gone was message of verse 2:256: Let There Be In Compulsion In Religion. It was replaced by such teachings as 9:5, 9:29:
(1) Fight the unbelievers until religion is for Allah only:
"And fight them until there is no more fitnah (disbelief and polytheism, i.e. worshiping others besides Allah) and the religion (worship) will all be for Allah alone (in the whole world). But if they cease (worshiping others besides Allah) then certainly, Allah is All-Seer of what they do." (Sura 8.39).
(2) No more choice in religion
- As for him who opposes the messenger, after the guidance has been pointed out to him, and follows other than the believers' way, we will direct him in the direction he has chosen, and commit him to Hell; what a miserable destiny! [4:115]
- Then should they turn back (meaning: apostized), seize them and kill them wherever you find them; and do not take from them any companion or supporter (Quran, Chapter 4: 89)
(3) No more patience with unbelievers. Now must curse them:
- [22.72] When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, thou wilt notice a denial on the faces of the Unbelievers! they nearly attack with violence those who rehearse Our Signs to them. Say, "Shall I tell you of something (far) worse than these Signs? It is the Fire (of Hell)! Allah has promised it to the Unbelievers! and evil is that destination!"
- [33:57] Surely, those who oppose GOD and His messenger, GOD afflicts them with a curse in this life, and in the Hereafter; He has prepared for them a shameful retribution.
(4) Tolerance no more; coerce the kafirs:
- "In order that Allah may separate the pure from the impure, put all the impure ones [i.e. non-Muslims] one on top of another in a heap and cast them into hell. They will have been the ones to have lost." (Sura 8.37)
- Certainly! Allâh will admit those who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh Islâmic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, to Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise), while those who disbelieve enjoy themselves and eat as cattle eat, and the Fire will be their abode. 47:12
(5) No more pacifism. Time to terrorize, torture, murder:
The only reward of those who make war upon Allah and His messenger and strive after corruption in the land will be that they will be killed or crucified, or have their hands and feet on alternate sides cut off, or will be expelled out of the land. Such will be their degradation in the world, and in the Hereafter theirs will be an awful doom (5:33)
"Allah revealed His will to the angels, saying: 'I shall be with you. Give courage to the believers. I shall cast terror into the hearts of the infidels. Strike off their heads, strike off the very tips of their fingers!' That was because they defied Allah and His apostle. He that defies Allah and his apostle shall be sternly punished by Allah." (Sura 8.12-13)
(6) No tolerance for critics. Just kill them:
9.061 Among them are men who molest the Prophet and say, "He is (all) ear." Say, "He listens to what is best for you: he believes in Allah, has faith in the Believers, and is a Mercy to those of you who believe." But those who molest the Messenger will have a grievous penalty. (In the link 'leaving Islam' you will find many events where Muhammad had numerous critics murdered )
(7) Do not associate even with your parents and siblings if they reject Islam:
9.023 O ye who believe! take not for protectors your fathers and your brothers if they love infidelity above Faith: if any of you do so, they do wrong
(8) Time to cursed who reject Islam for eternity
- 9:73 O Prophet! Strive against the disbelievers and the hypocrites! Be harsh with them. Their ultimate abode is hell, a hapless journey's end.
- 22:19 These twain (the believers and the disbelievers) are two opponents who contend concerning their Lord. But as for those who disbelieve, garments of fire will be cut out for them; boiling fluid will be poured down on their heads [103, Medina ]
- 22:20 Whereby that which is in their bellies, and their skins too, will be melted; [103, Medina ]
- 22:21 And for them are hooked rods of iron. [103, Medina ]
- 22:22 Whenever, in their anguish, they would go forth from thence they are driven back therein and (it is said unto them): Taste the doom of burning.
Muhammad's 13 years of preaching in Mecca was out and out a failure, mastering only 100-dd followers. Had he continued walking the same path in Medina, Islam would have died a natural death, probably in his life-time itself. But the militant radicalization of Muhammad that changed Islam into a plundering Mafia enterprise, offering its prospective followers a share of the loot and captured women, as well as forcing those who would reject Islam to embrace it on the pain of death, that Islam became a lasting and expanding successful religious enterprise as it continues today.
In Medina Muhammad re-invented Allah and turned Him into a criminal Godfather Whom Muhammad would use to hand over earthly political power to him, and utilize His supposed teachings as religious and legal justification for his evil criminality. That is how Islam turned itself into a successful cult.
Abrogation: The complete and ultimate radicalization of Islam and its followers
Most Muslims are like ordinary people, and the Mecca part of the Quranic revelations could offer them a peace basis of religious life. But Allah did not leave that option open to them. The radical Muhammad of Medina faced a huge problem with the initial non-militant teachings of the Quran. Had his followers appealed to those nonviolent teachings of the Quran, his desire for plunder, power and dominion could not be realized. And Allah, ever ready to satisfy Muhammad's every desire, came to his rescue by abrogating the entire Mecca teachings of the Quran:
- Quran 2:106. “Whatever a Verse (revelation) do We {Allah} abrogate or cause to be forgotten, We bring a better one or similar to it. Know you not that Allah is able to do all things?
- Quran 16:101 “And when We change (one) communication for (another) communication, and Allah knows best what He reveals.”
This abrogation doctrine nullifies the earlier teachings, namely the pacifist Meccan revelations by the radicalized and militant later revelations of Medina, which turns Islam into an absolutely radical and militant religious faith. It gave Muslims no option to appeal to the apparently peaceful verses revealed in Mecca. For a detailed listing of the verses of the Quran that were canceled by the doctrine of abrogation, go to http://www.islamreform.net/new-page-27.htm.
Through the process of aborgation, 71 Suras of the Quran out of 114 in total, i.e. 62.28% of the suras of the Quran, have become null and void (Abu Ja'afar al Nakhass' al Nasikh wal Mansukh'). Therefore, only 43 later Surahs revealed in Medina stand valid. And this valid part of Islam teaches Muslims only deceit, torture, murder, assassination, massacre, genocide, pillage, robbery, enslavement and rape as divinely sanction halal (legal) acts that would earn Muslims a ticket to Islamic paradise, as long as those are perpetrated upon kafirs.
In sum, Muhammad initiated Islam as a relatively benign and nonviolent religious faith, but as he grew in power, he radicalized it into an evil ideology whose sole purpose is to conquer the world for Allah. The Quran became a declaration of war against the kafirs. This war is permanent until ALL kafirs have converted to Islam, or are in dhimmitude (institutionalized discrimination akin to second class slavery status) or have been murdered.
From a humble preacher, Muhammad, after turning into a radical, went on order more than 60 raids and invasion, some involving massacres, and he personally participated in 27 of those. The worst sufferer of Muhammad's militant radicalization was the Jews of the Arab Peninsula, who suffered whole-sale exile, execution and enslavement. Some of the most chilling utterances of Muhammad concerning the Jews are:
...the Apostle of Allah said, “Kill any Jew that falls into your power.” (Ibn Ishaq, Life of Muhammad, p. 553)
Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar: Allah's Apostle said, "You (i.e. Muslims) will fight with the Jews till some of them will hide behind stones. The stones will (betray them) saying, 'O 'Abdullah (i.e. slave of Allah)! There is a Jew hiding behind me; so kill him.” (Bukhari 4:52:176)
And the radicalization of Muhammad saw its climax in the Massacre of Banu Quraiza, where he ordered the beheading of 600 to 900 men, and personally initiated the slaughter by beheading 2 Jewish leaders. To read about this very great Banu Quraiza tragedy, go to: http://www.islamreform.net/new-page-209.htm
Therefore, the so-called self-radicalization of Muslims is nothing but their following the teachings and commands of the holy Quran and emulating the examples of Prophet Muhammad, the only perfect man ever to appear on the earth. (Mohammed, the First Radical Muslim.)
Appendix C
Hilaire Belloc on the Enduring Heresy of Mohammed and Its Relationship to Calvinism
Mohammedanism was a heresy: that is the essential point to grasp before going any further. It began as a heresy, not as a new religion. It was not a pagan contrast with the Church; it was not an alien enemy. It was a perversion of Christian doctrine. It vitality and endurance soon gave it the appearance of a new religion, but those who were contemporary with its rise saw it for what it was not a denial, but an adaptation and a misuse, of the Christian thing. It differed from most (not from all) heresies in this, that it did not arise within the bounds of the Christian Church. The chief heresiarch, Mohammed himself, was not, like most heresiarchs, a man of Catholic birth and doctrine to begin with. He sprang from pagans. But that which he taught was in the main Catholic doctrine, oversimplified. It was the great Catholic world on the frontiers of which he lived, whose influence was all around him and whose territories he had known by travel which inspired his convictions. He came of, and mixed with, the degraded idolaters of the Arabian wilderness, the conquest of which had never seemed worth the Romans' while. . . .
But the central point where this new heresy struck home with a mortal blow against Catholic tradition was a full denial of the Incarnation.
Mohammed did not merely take the first steps toward that denial, as the Arians and their followers had done; he advanced a clear affirmation, full and complete, against the whole doctrine of an incarnate God. He taught that Our Lord was the greatest of all the prophets, but still only a prophet: a man like other men. He eliminated the Trinity altogether. With that denial of the Incarnation went the whole sacramental structure. He refused to know anything of the Eucharist, with its Real Presence; he stopped the sacrifice of the Mass, and therefore the institution of a special priesthood. In other words, he, like so many other lesser heresiarchs, founded his heresy on simplification. Catholic doctrine was true (he seemed to say), but it had become encumbered with false accretions; it had become complicated by needless man-made additions, including the idea that its founder was Divine, and the growth of a parasitical caste of priests who battened on a late, imagined, system of Sacraments which they alone could administer.
All those corrupt accretions must be swept away. There is thus a very great deal in common between the enthusiasm with which Mohammed's teaching attacked the priesthood, the Mass and the sacraments, and the enthusiasm with which Calvinism, the central motive force of the Reformation, did the same. As we all know, the new teaching relaxed the marriage laws but in practice this did not affect the mass of his followers who still remained monogamous. It made divorce as easy as possible, for the sacramental idea of marriage disappeared. It insisted upon the equality of men, and it necessarily had that further factor in which it resembled Calvinism: the sense of predestination, the sense of fate; of what the followers of John Knox were always calling "the immutable decrees of God." (The Great and Enduring Heresy of Mohammed.)
