There Is More To Life Than Doctrine?, part two

Surreal is the only word to describe events in the world of naturalism and in the world of apostates who constitute the counterfeit church of conciliarism.

Although I will be writing a rather lengthy commentary on the electoral farce that is unfolding one before our eyes that pits a serial liar who supports statism and, among other evils, the daily slaughter of the innocent preborn by chemical and surgical means, against a serial liar who has helped to mainstream the agenda of the homosexual collective while deputizing his campaign spokesman to state that this third wife's nude photographs are examples "performance art" (the fact that many believing Catholics do not see the devil's hand in this because they are so afraid of Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton is astounding) over the weekend, suffice it to say for the moment that this farce has reached levels of surrealism heretofore unknown in the qudrennial farce that agitates and divides people along false fault lines, each of which is founded in error.

This commentary, of course, will tie up two loose ends left over from part one four days ago now, focusing on how both parties involved in the "doctrinal discussions" concerning the "regularization" of the Society of Saint Pius X as a "personal prelature" have abandoned all pretense of Catholic ecclesiology in favor of one that can be termed  "close enough is good enough." So what if we don't agree of every point of doctrine. After all, "life is more than just dcotrine," right? Wrong.

False Ecumenism: A Bedrock of Conciliar "Doctrine" and Pastoral Praxis

As a reminder, "Archbishop" Guido Pozzo, who is the conciliar official in charge of "Pontifical" Commission Ecclesia Dei, explained that there were several issues of contention between his false religious sect and the Society of Saint Pius X:

C&W: You no longer expect the SSPX to accept all of the conciliar declarations, including the texts regarding ecumenism or interreligious dialogue?

Pozzo: The Society professes adherence to the defined dogmas of the faith and the Catholic truths which were reaffirmed in the conciliar documents. These must, however, be accepted according to the degree of assent that is owed them. Doctrines of the Catholic Church that were proposed by the Second Vatican Council that must decidedly receive internal assent include, for example, the teaching of the sacramentality of episcopal consecration as the fullness of the sacrament of holy orders and the doctrine of the primacy of the Pope and the episcopal college in union with its head, as laid out by the dogmatic constitution Lumen Gentium and as interpreted by the Nota explicativa praevia [preliminary explanatory note] that the highest authority wanted [to be added to the document].

The SSPX has difficulty with some aspects of the decree Nostra aetate on interreligious dialogue, of the decree Unitatis redintegratio on ecumenism, and of the declaration Dignitatis humanae on religious freedom or with questions regarding the relationship of Christianity to modernity. These are not matters of doctrine, however, nor are they definitive statements; rather, they are instructions or statements of guidance for pastoral practice. We can continue to discuss these pastoral aspects even after a canonical recognition in order to settle [these questions]. (Personal Prelature for Society of Saint Pius X?.)

Although there is no need to belabor the point, false ecumenism has been a bedrock of conciliar "doctrine" and practice for the past fifty-one years. Indeed, the whole purpose of the Protestant and Judeo-Masonic liturgical service was to make what purported to be the Roman Rite of the Catholic Church more palatable to Protestants and, of course, to Talmudists:

“We must strip from our Catholic prayers and from the Catholic liturgy everything which can be the shadow of a stumbling block for our separated brethren that is for the Protestants." (Annibale Bugnini, L'Osservatore Romano, March 19, 1965.)

“Certainly we will preserve the basic elements, the bread, the wine, but all else will be changed according to local tradition: words, gestures, colors, vestments, chants, architecture, decor. The problem of liturgical reform is immense.” (Archbishop Karol Wojtyla, 1965, Quoted and footnoted in: Assault on the Roman Rite. This has also been noted on this site in the past, having been provided me by a reader who had access to the 1980 French book in which the quote is found.)

"[T]he intention of Pope Paul VI with regard to what is commonly called the Mass, was to reform the Catholic liturgy in such a way that it should coincide with the Protestant liturgy.... [T]here was with Pope Paul VI an ecumenical intention to remove, or at least to correct, or at least to relax, what was too Catholic in the traditional sense, in the Mass, and I, repeat, to get the Catholic Mass closer to the Calvinist mass" (Dec. 19, 1993), Apropos, #17, pp. 8f; quoted in Christian Order, October, 1994. (Jean Guitton, a close friend of Giovanni Montini/Paul VI. The quotation and citations are found in Christopher A. Ferrara and Thomas E. Woods, Jr., The Great Facade, The Remnant Publishing Company, 2002, p. 317.)

Let it be candidly said: the Roman Rite which we have known hitherto no longer exists. It is destroyed. (Father Joseph Gelineau, an associate of Annibale Bugnini on the Consilium, quoted and footnoted in the work of a John Mole, who believed that the Mass of the Roman Rite had been "truncated," not destroyed. Assault on the Roman Rite)

Everything about the false conciliar religion has been premised upon false ecumenism, which has spawned a cottage industry of "inter-religious" "prayer" services, workshops, conferences, "dialogue" sessions, and heretical "joint agreements").

Indeed, Karol Josef Wotyla/Saint John Paul II made a commitment to the false ecumenism that had been initiated by Giovanni Battista Enrico Antonio Maria/Blessed Paul VI a central feature of his 9,666 day tenure as the universal public face of apostasy, starting with the address that he gave to the "cardinals" on Tuesday, October 17, 1978:

First of all, we wish to point out the unceasing importance of the Second Vatican Ecumenical Council, and we accept the definite duty of assiduously bringing it into effect. Indeed, is not that universal Council a kind of milestone as it were, an event of the utmost importance in the almost two thousand year history of the Church, and consequently in the religious and cultural history of the world.

However, as the Council is not limited to the documents alone, neither is it completed by the ways applying it which were devised in these post-conciliar years. Therefore we rightly consider that we are bound by the primary duty of most diligently furthering the implementation of the decrees and directive norms of that same Universal Synod. This indeed we shall do in a way that is at once prudent and stimulating. We shall strive, in particular, that first of all an appropriate mentality may flourish. Namely, it is necessary that, above all, outlooks must be at one with the Council so that in practice those things may be done that were ordered by it, and that those things which lie hidden in it or—as is usually said—are "implicit" may become explicit in the light of the experiments made since then and the demands of changing circumstances. Briefly, it is necessary that the fertile seeds which the Fathers of the Ecumenical Synod, nourished by the word of God, sowed in good ground (cf. Mt 13: 8, 23)—that is, the important teachings and pastoral deliberations should be brought to maturity in that way which is characteristic of movement and life. (First Urbi et Orbi Radio message, October 17, 1978.)

Karol Wojtyla/John Paul II sure found "those things which lie hidden in" the "Second" Vatican Council" as he made manifestly explicit what he believed was "implicit" in his vaunted "Second" Vatican Council, fooling the sappy likes of me by throwing some conciliar fairy dust in our eyes as he talked about getting priests back in their clerical garb and consecrated religious sisters back into their habits and demanding doctrinal orthodoxy from theologians even though he was not doctrinally orthodox and let most of the ultra-progressive conciliar revolutionaries remain in perfectly good standing as sons and daughters of what he claimed was the Catholic Church.

What those of us who were fighting what we thought was the “good fight” of the Catholic Faith at this time did not realize—and what so many within the structures of the false conciliar sect have yet to recognize—is that is as impossible for concilairism to protect the Sacred Deposit of Faith as it is based upon false principles of Protestantism and Judeo-Masonry. It cannot do anything but spread error and harm souls.  We are merely witnessing the manifestation of the inherent degeneracy of conciliarism's false premises.

One need not document all the ways that Wojytla/John Paul II promoted false ecumenism as it has been done so on this site many times and in countless other places. The man of the Assisi "World Day of Peace" travesties who praised every false religion under the sun, thereby violating the First and Second Commandments repeatedly, institutionalized religious indifferetism to such an extent that even many Catholics within the conciliar structures who run "pro-life" websites and blogs wax glowingly about "other Christians" as though there is any other religion than the true one, the Catholic Faith.

Moreover, Wojtyla/John Paul II's successor, Joseph Alois Ratzinger/Benedict XVI, the supposed "restorer of tradition," was just as fervent in his ecumanical activities as he had been by entering into temples of false worship, personally esteemed the symbols of false religions with his own priestly hands, and engaged in "joint blessings" with the then archlayman of Canterbury, Rowan Williams. Ratzinger/Benedict made it very clear within four months of his "election" that he rejected what he termed disparagingly "the ecumenism of the return":

We all know there are numerous models of unity and you know that the Catholic Church also has as her goal the full visible unity of the disciples of Christ, as defined by the Second Vatican Ecumenical Council in its various Documents (cf. Lumen Gentium, nn. 8, 13; Unitatis Redintegratio, nn. 2, 4, etc.). This unity, we are convinced, indeed subsists in the Catholic Church, without the possibility of ever being lost (cf. Unitatis Redintegratio, n. 4); the Church in fact has not totally disappeared from the world.

"On the other hand, this unity does not mean what could be called ecumenism of the return:  that is, to deny and to reject one's own faith history. Absolutely not!

"It does not mean uniformity in all expressions of theology and spirituality, in liturgical forms and in discipline. Unity in multiplicity, and multiplicity in unity:  in my Homily for the Solemnity of Sts Peter and Paul on 29 June last, I insisted that full unity and true catholicity in the original sense of the word go together. As a necessary condition for the achievement of this coexistence, the commitment to unity must be constantly purified and renewed; it must constantly grow and mature." (Ecumenical meeting at the Archbishopric of Cologne English)

The Catholic Church seeks the eternal good of all men, which cannot be found in false religions, each of which is loathsome in the sight of the Most Blessed Trinity, and it is to this end that countless numbers of martyrs have shed their blood and that our true popes have used exhortations to convert non-Catholics to her maternal bosom:

It is for this reason that so many who do not share 'the communion and the truth of the Catholic Church' must make use of the occasion of the Council, by the means of the Catholic Church, which received in Her bosom their ancestors, proposes [further] demonstration of profound unity and of firm vital force; hear the requirements [demands] of her heart, they must engage themselves to leave this state that does not guarantee for them the security of salvation. She does not hesitate to raise to the Lord of mercy most fervent prayers to tear down of the walls of division, to dissipate the haze of errors, and lead them back within holy Mother Church, where their Ancestors found salutary pastures of life; where, in an exclusive way, is conserved and transmitted whole the doctrine of Jesus Christ and wherein is dispensed the mysteries of heavenly grace.

It is therefore by force of the right of Our supreme Apostolic ministry, entrusted to us by the same Christ the Lord, which, having to carry out with [supreme] participation all the duties of the good Shepherd and to follow and embrace with paternal love all the men of the world, we send this Letter of Ours to all the Christians from whom We are separated, with which we exhort them warmly and beseech them with insistence to hasten to return to the one fold of Christ; we desire in fact from the depths of the heart their salvation in Christ Jesus, and we fear having to render an account one day to Him, Our Judge, if, through some possibility, we have not pointed out and prepared the way for them to attain eternal salvation. In all Our prayers and supplications, with thankfulness, day and night we never omit to ask for them, with humble insistence, from the eternal Shepherd of souls the abundance of goods and heavenly graces. And since, if also, we fulfill in the earth the office of vicar, with all our heart we await with open arms the return of the wayward sons to the Catholic Church, in order to receive them with infinite fondness into the house of the Heavenly Father and to enrich them with its inexhaustible treasures. By our greatest wish for the return to the truth and the communion with the Catholic Church, upon which depends not only the salvation of all of them, but above all also of the whole Christian society: the entire world in fact cannot enjoy true peace if it is not of one fold and one shepherd. (Pope Pius IX, Iam Vos Omnes, September 13, 1868.)

It was a mere sixty years after Pope Pius IX issued Iam Vos Omnes as an exhortation for Protestants to convert to the true Church, outside of which there is no salvation and without which there can be no true social order, that Pope Pius XII issued a similar exhortation while reminding the bishops of the world that the only way that “the union for Christians can only be promoted by promoting the return to the one true Church of Christ of those wo are separated from it and not by Catholics participating in the assemblies of non-Catholics”:

So, Venerable Brethren, it is clear why this Apostolic See has never allowed its subjects to take part in the assemblies of non-Catholics: for the union of Christians can only be promoted by promoting the return to the one true Church of Christ of those who are separated from it, for in the past they have unhappily left it. To the one true Church of Christ, we say, which is visible to all, and which is to remain, according to the will of its Author, exactly the same as He instituted it. . . .  Let, therefore, the separated children draw nigh to the Apostolic See, set up in the City which Peter and Paul, the Princes of the Apostles, consecrated by their blood; to that See, We repeat, which is 'the root and womb whence the Church of God springs,' not with the intention and the hope that 'the Church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth' will cast aside the integrity of the faith and tolerate their errors, but, on the contrary, that they themselves submit to its teaching and government. Would that it were Our happy lot to do that which so many of Our predecessors could not, to embrace with fatherly affection those children, whose unhappy separation from Us We now bewail. Would that God our Savior, "Who will have all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth," would hear us when We humbly beg that He would deign to recall all who stray to the unity of the Church! In this most important undertaking We ask and wish that others should ask the prayers of Blessed Mary the Virgin, Mother of divine grace, victorious over all heresies and Help of Christians, that She may implore for Us the speedy coming of the much hoped-for day, when all men shall hear the voice of Her divine Son, and shall be 'careful to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.'" (Pope Pius XI, Mortalium Animos, January 6, 1928.)

Just consider two of the statements quoted above, one from Pope Pius IX's Iam Vos Omnes and the other from Pope Pius XI's Mortalium Animos:

. . . .the entire world in fact cannot enjoy true peace if it is not of one fold and one shepherd. (Pope Pius IX, Iam Vos Omnes.)

To the one true Church of Christ, we say, which is visible to all, and which is to remain, according to the will of its Author, exactly the same as He instituted it. (Pope Pius XI, Mortalium Animos.)

Obviously, Jorge Mario Bergoglio has eclipsed Paul the Sick, John Paul Too (yes, that's deliberate) and Ratzinger/Benedict by leaps and bounds when it comes to false ecumenism, and he has "apologized" for how the Catholic Church has treated heretics and schismatics in the past, including when he visited an "Pentecostal" community in Caserta, Italy, a little over twenty-four months ago:

On this path we have very often done the same thing as Joseph’s brothers, when jealousy and envy have divided us. Those who arrived first wanted to kill their brother – Ruben succeeded in saving him – and then sold him. Our brother John also spoke of this sad story. That sad story in which the Gospel was lived by some as a truth who did not realize that behind this attitude there were ugly things, things that were not of the Lord, a terrible temptation of division. That sad story, in which the same thing was done that Joseph’s brothers did: denunciation, the laws of these people: “it goes against the purity of the race …” And these laws were sanctioned by the baptized! Some of those who made these laws and some of those who persecuted, denounced their Pentecostal brothers because they were “enthusiasts,” almost “madmen “ who ruined the race, some were Catholics … I am the Pastor of Catholics: I ask forgiveness for this! I ask forgiveness or those Catholic brothers and sisters who did not understand and who were tempted by the devil and did the same thing that Joseph’s brothers did. I ask the Lord to He give us the grace to admit and forgive … Thank you! (Address to Pentecostal Community in Caserta.)

Madmen?

Tempted by the devil to be faithful to the teaching of Holy Mother Church?

Yes, this is what Jorge Mario Bergoglio thinks of those who remained steadfast in defense of the Catholic Faith as the only true religion and who pointed out the errors of Pentecostalism, which was born right here in the land of religious indifferentism and Judeo-Masonic naturalism, individualism, egalitarianism and "religious liberty," the United States of America.

Here is what Bergoglio said to the Waldensians when he apologized to them for the fact the denuciation of Waldensianism at the Fourth Lateran Council, which happened to meet under the infallible protection and assistance of the Third Person of the Most Blessed Trinity, God the Holy Ghost, in 1215:

The Catholic Church seeks forgiveness for past sins against Waldensians

“But the unity that is the fruit of the Holy Spirit,” the Pope said, “does not mean uniformity. Brothers have in common the same origin, but they are not identical among themselves.” Unfortunately, he continued, historically this diversity was not accepted and was a cause of violence and disputes “committed in the name of the faith itself.” This history, the Pope said, can only grieve us, who pray for the grace “to recognize that we are all sinners and to know to forgive one another.” He then asked for forgiveness for “the non-Christian attitudes and behaviour” of the Catholic Church against Waldensians.

Relations between Waldensians and Catholics now founded on mutual respect and fraternal charity

Pope Francis noted with satisfaction that today relations between Catholics and Waldensians are founded “on mutual respect and on fraternal charity,” as witnessed, for example, by the interconfessional translation of the Bible, pastoral arrangements for the celebration of mixed marriages, and the recent drafting of a joint appeal against violence against women, as well as other common initiatives.

Differences should not be an obstacle to collaboration in evangelization and in works

These steps, the Pope said, are an encouragement to continue this common journey. One of the primary areas that is open to the possibility of collaboration between Waldensians and Catholics, he said, is evangelization. Another is “that of service to humanity which suffers, to the poor, the sick, the migrants.” The differences that continue to exist between Catholics and Waldensians on important anthropological and ethical questions, the Pope said, should not prevent us from finding ways to collaborate in these and other fields: “If we journey together,” he said, “the Lord will help us to live that communion that precedes every contrast.”  (Jorge visits Waldensian temple in Turin.)

In other words, Jorge Mario Bergoglio apologized for the work of God the Holy Ghost at the Fourth Lateran Council. He believes that heretics profess the same “basic” faith as the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church founded by Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. They do not. Then again, birds of a heretical feather do flock together, do not they not?

While "Archbishop" Guido Pozzo would want those relatively few Catholics who pay attention to the "doctrinal discussions" his false religious sect has had with representatives of the Society of Saint Pius X to believe that "religious liberty," false ecumenism and relations with are Jews are matters over which there can be legitimate disagreements, the conciliar "popes" and their "bishops" have made it clear there is no turning back from ecumania. The bishops and the priests of the Society of Saint Pius X under a "personal prelature" (by the way, who is going to appoint Bishop Fellay's successor if the final deal is struck) may be able to privately hold objections to the "pope's" false ecumenism, but they will be unable to say anything publicly about those objections. In other words, Pozzo is saying that there can be "disagreements" in private without any public disputation.

This is a false ecclesiology as one must believe in all that the Catholic Church teaches is true. There can be private "reservation" about anything taught in the name of the Catholic Church, and for Pozzo to make it appear as though there can be such reservations is offend the Catholic Church's true teaching on ecclesiology and to make a mockery of the pains to which the conciliar "popes" have gone to institutionalize each of the matters he contends can be "ignored," at least publicly, to effect a "reconciliation."

Jorge the Talmudist Wants Silence, And Silence He Will Get

Mention of the possible "regularization" of the Society of Saint Pius X has gotten the usual suspects in the blaspemous, Christophobic world of Talmudism rather upset, to say the very least.

One Talmudist who has been given regular entry into conciliar conferencs within the walls of the Occupied Vatican on the West Bank of the Tiber River is the "papal" knight by the name of David Rosen, whose name should be familiar to longtime readers of this site (see, for example, a few of Rosen's interventions on behalf his false religion as provided in See Weasel Jorge Bow and Scrape Before His Talmudic Masters.) Mr. Rosen is concerned that the unquestioned friend of all things Talmudic, who has even "prayed" out the blasphemous Talmud with rabbis at the Casa Santa Marta, Jorge Mario Bergoglio might permit the Society of Saint Pius X to be "regularized" without forcing them to abandon their anti-Jewish (that is oppostion to Judaism as a false religion that is hateful in the eyes of the true God of Divine Revelation) position:

Questioned on this subject, Rabbi David Rosen, AJC’s International Drector for Interreligious Relations, replied: “ I trust the statement of Cardinal Kurt Koch, President of the Pontifical Council for Christian Unity, that the acceptance of Nostra Aetate as binding would have to be a requirement for the Society of Saint Pius X before its members could be formally embraced by Holy See; and I find it impossible to believe that Pope Francis would expect anything less.

However in addition to accepting the Magisterium’s teaching regarding the Jewish People and Judaism, I would hope that the Holy See would insist on a repudiation of the Antisemitism that has been part of the culture of the Society of Saint Pius X. It was not just Bishop Williamson and one or two others, but the websites of the organization in the past have been replete with anti-Jewish rhetoric. I would hope that there would be some formal acknowledgement of Pope Francis’ statement, in keeping with those of his predecessors, that it is impossible to be a true Christian and hold anti-Semitic views.”  (What Is and Is not Negotiable for Sosciety of Saint Pius X "Reconciliation with the Conciliar Sect of Apostates.)

Rabbi Rosen was referrring to the following statement that Kurt "Cardinal" Koch, the president of the "Pontifical" Council for Christian Unity" who is in charge the conciliar sect's relations with Talmudists, made in 2011 about the necessity of the Society of Saint Pius X's recognizing and abiding by the terms of the conciliar surrender to those who deny the Sacred Divinity of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ:

ROME (CNS) -- The Catholic Church's relationship to Judaism as taught by the Second Vatican Council and the interpretations and developments of that teaching by subsequent popes, "are binding on a Catholic," said the Vatican official responsible for relations with the Jews.

Swiss Cardinal Kurt Koch, president of the Pontifical Commission for Religious Relations with the Jews and a member of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, spoke to reporters May 16 after delivering a speech on Catholic-Jewish relations in light of Vatican II's declaration "Nostra Aetate" on the church's relations with non-Christian religions.

The afternoon speech followed Cardinal Koch's participation in a meeting of the doctrinal congregation to examine the latest progress in the Vatican's reconciliation talks with the traditionalist Society of St. Pius X.

"There are questions to clarify in discussions with this community. I can't say more than that," he told reporters, echoing a Vatican statement saying the reconciliation talks are ongoing.

In addition to the highly publicized position of Bishop Richard Williamson, an SSPX bishop who denies the Holocaust, public statements by the society's superior general, Bishop Bernard Fellay, leave in doubt whether the society as a whole accepts the entirety of "Nostra Aetate," including its condemnations of anti-Semitism and of the idea that the Jews were to blame for the death of Jesus.

"All the doctrinal decisions of the church are binding on a Catholic, including the Second Vatican Council and all its texts," Cardinal Koch said when asked if the SSPX would be expected to accept all the teachings of Vatican II. "The 'Nostra Aetate' declaration of the Second Vatican Council is a clear decree and is important for every Catholic," he added.

At the same time, Cardinal Koch said, "it is very necessary to make clear the difference between the position of the Society of St. Pius X and the negation of the Shoah (the Holocaust), which is a position that has no place in the Catholic Church. It is very clear."

Following the revelation of Bishop Williamson's comments about the Holocaust, SSPX leaders issued a statement saying his position in no way reflected the views of the society. "I'm very happy about this," Cardinal Koch said. "The Holy Father has spoken clearly about this position of Williamson, that it's not possible, there is no place for deniers in the Catholic Church."

In his speech at Rome's Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas, Cardinal Koch said "Nostra Aetate" is "the 'foundation document' and the 'Magna Carta' of the dialogue of the Roman Catholic Church with Judaism."

The declaration highlighted the Jewish roots of Christianity and took "an unambiguous position against every form of anti-Semitism," he said.

The church's theological reflection on its Jewish roots, as well as on the relationship between God's covenant with the Jewish people and the new covenant instituted by Christ have been developed further and authoritatively by Blessed John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI, he said.

God's plan of salvation for humanity began with his covenant with the Jewish people and if Christianity ignores that, he said, "it is in danger of losing its location within salvation history."

Cardinal Koch said that for Pope Benedict, the key to the theological understanding of the importance of a relationship with Judaism and Jews is that the Bible is one book detailing the entire history of salvation.

While Catholics profess that, in the end, all salvation will be accomplished through Jesus Christ, "it does not necessarily follow that the Jews are excluded from God's salvation because they do not believe in Jesus Christ as the Messiah of Israel and the son of God," the cardinal said. "That the Jews are participants in God's salvation is theologically unquestionable, but how that can be possible without confessing Christ explicitly is and remains an unfathomable divine mystery."

The cardinal said, "The Catholic Church neither conducts nor supports any specific institutional mission work directed toward the Jews," but that does not exclude Christians bearing witness to their faith "in an unassuming and humble manner."
(Catholics must accept Vatican II, including on Judaism, cardinal says.)

David Rosen is upset at the apparent contradiction between what Kurt Koch said in 2011 and what Guido Pozzo said last week. Contradiction is a staple of life in the conciliar sect. Minds not formed Thomistically can say one thing at one time and another at a different time (sometimes at the same time, of course) without making any effort to explain themselves. Conciliarism's approach to the Society of Saint Pius X is a strictly utilitarian one as Jorge Mario Bergoglio knows that, regardless of Pozzo's apparent questioning of the binding nature of certain of the "Second" Vatican Council's degrees, a "personal prelature" and possibly a red hat for Bishop Fellay will reap dividends of silence for years to come. The lips of the bishops and the priests of the Society of Saint Pius X will be as bound by their gratitude to "Pope Francis" for granting Catholics access to the modernized version of the Immemorial Mass of Tradition as they would be if required to make a formal profession of belief in Nostra Aetate, October 28, 1965, and  Dignitatis Humanae and Gaudium et Spes, which were issued on December 7, 1965.

David Rosen should put his concerns aside as his pal Jorge has made it abundantly clear that he is on the side of Caiphas in professing firmly and unequiocally what "Saint" John Paul II declared in Mainz, Germany, on October 17, 1980, namely, that the Old Covenant of Moses was never revoked:

247. We hold the Jewish people in special regard because their covenant with God has never been revoked, for “the gifts and the call of God are irrevocable” (Rom 11:29). The Church, which shares with Jews an important part of the sacred Scriptures, looks upon the people of the covenant and their faith as one of the sacred roots of her own Christian identity (cf. Rom 11:16-18). As Christians, we cannot consider Judaism as a foreign religion; nor do we include the Jews among those called to turn from idols and to serve the true God (cf. 1 Thes 1:9). With them, we believe in the one God who acts in history, and with them we accept his revealed word.

248. Dialogue and friendship with the children of Israel are part of the life of Jesus’ disciples. The friendship which has grown between us makes us bitterly and sincerely regret the terrible persecutions which they have endured, and continue to endure, especially those that have involved Christians.

249. God continues to work among the people of the Old Covenant and to bring forth treasures of wisdom which flow from their encounter with his word. For this reason, the Church also is enriched when she receives the values of Judaism. While it is true that certain Christian beliefs are unacceptable to Judaism, and that the Church cannot refrain from proclaiming Jesus as Lord and Messiah, there exists as well a rich complementarity which allows us to read the texts of the Hebrew Scriptures together and to help one another to mine the riches of God’s word. We can also share many ethical convictions and a common concern for justice and the development of peoples. (Jorge Mario Bergoglio, Evangelii Gaudium, November 26, 2013.)

"Pope Francis" chose to have this "apostolic exhortation" published in the December, 2013, edition of the Acta Apostolicae Sedis.

Here are the three passages as found in the Italian language (not Latin, by the way!) in the Acta Apostolicae Sedis as it is published in its conciliar captivity:

Acta Apostolicae Sedis, December, 2013.)

If one professes belief that a particular claimant to the Throne of Saint Peter is legitimate and is indeed the Vicar of Christ on earth, a matter about which no Catholic is free to err or to profess indifference, then one must accept as binding upon his conscience and beyond all criticism even Evangelii Gaudium as part of the Universal Ordinary Magisterium of the Catholic Church without complaint, reservation or qulification of any kind.

Well, "Cardinal" Burke, is the Mosaic Covenant still valid? Has it never been revoked? You must agree with your "pope's" statement as you have not criticized him at all for having made it and caused it to be published in the Acta Apostolicae Sedis. Why the silence on this point of doctrine?

Obviously, Jorge Mario Bergoglio's "teaching" on the Jews is heretical, and it is in this and in so many other ways that he shows himself to be a perfect disciple of the falsehoods promulgated by the authority of his predecessors since the death of Pope Pius XII on October 9, 1958. Jorge Mario Bergolio lacks the Catholic Faith, He has openly denied Catholic doctrine on this subject with great boldness. Although he style is more vulgar, visceral profane that those who have perceded him, he is, of course, merely following those before him who have denied, whether implicitly or explicitly, the Catholic truth about the Old Covenant that was summarized so clearly by Pope Pius XII in Mystici Corporis, June 29, 1943:

28.That He completed His work on the gibbet of the Cross is the unanimous teaching of the holy Fathers who assert that the Church was born from the side of our Savior on the Cross like a new Eve, mother of all the living. [28] "And it is now," says the great St. Ambrose, speaking of the pierced side of Christ, "that it is built, it is now that it is formed, it is now that is .... molded, it is now that it is created . . . Now it is that arises a spiritual house, a holy priesthood." [29] One who reverently examines this venerable teaching will easily discover the reasons on which it is based.

29.And first of all, by the death of our Redeemer, the New Testament took the place of the Old Law which had been abolished; then the Law of Christ together with its mysteries, enactments, institutions, and sacred rites was ratified for the whole world in the blood of Jesus Christ. For, while our Divine Savior was preaching in a restricted area -- He was not sent but to the sheep that were lost of the house of Israel [30] -the Law and the Gospel were together in force; [31but on the gibbet of his death Jesus made void the Law with its decrees, [32] fastened the handwriting of the Old Testament to the Cross, [33] establishing the New Testament in His blood shed for the whole human race. [34] "To such an extent, then," says St. Leo the Great, speaking of the Cross of our Lord, "was there effected a transfer from the Law to the Gospel, from the Synagogue to the Church, from many sacrifices to one Victim, that, as our Lord expired, that mystical veil which shut off the innermost part of the temple and its sacred secret was rent violently from top to bottom." [35]

30. On the Cross then the Old Law died, soon to be buried and to be a bearer of death, [36] in order to give way to the New Testament of which Christ had chosen the Apostles as qualified ministers; [37] and although He had been constituted the Head of the whole human family in the womb of the Blessed Virgin, it is by the power of the Cross that our Savior exercises fully the office itself of Head in His Church. "For it was through His triumph on the Cross," according to the teaching of the Angelic and Common Doctor, "that He won power and dominion over the gentiles"; [38] by that same victory He increased the immense treasure of graces, which, as He reigns in glory in heaven, He lavishes continually on His mortal members it was by His blood shed on the Cross that God's anger was averted and that all the heavenly gifts, especially the spiritual graces of the New and Eternal Testament, could then flow from the fountains of our Savior for the salvation of men, of the faithful above all; it was on the tree of the Cross, finally, that He entered into possession of His Church, that is, of all the members of His Mystical Body; for they would not have been united to this Mystical Body. (Pope Pius XII,Mystici Corporis, June 29, 1943.)

Pope Pius XII's Mystici Corporis was inserted into the Acta Apostolicae Sedis in 1943. Although it was nothing new whatsoever, Pope Pius XII reaffirmed an irreformable teaching that is part of the Sacred Deposit of Faith. The fact that Jorge Mario Bergoglio chose to insert a contrary teaching into the Acta Apostlicae Sedis shows that he is, in perfect communion of mind and heart with his predecessors, a heretic who is outside of the bosom of the Catholic Church, an imposter on the Throne of Saint Peter.

It is indeed supremely ironic that the represenatives of the Society of Saint Pius X and Guido Pozzo, acting in behalf of Jorge Mario Bergoglio, are forging a de jure "relationship"  upon the same kind of methods that were denounced by the late Monsignor Joseph Clifford Fenton, the editor of the American Ecclesiastical Review between 1943 and 1963, as follows:

It is definitely the business of the writer in the field of sacred theology to benefit the Church by what he writes.  It is likewise the duty of the teacher of this science to help the Church by his teaching.  The man who uses the shoddy tricks of minimism to oppose or to ignore the doctrinal decisions made by the Sovereign Pontiff and set down in his "Acta" is, in the last analysis, stultifying his position as a theologian(The doctrinal Authority of Papal allocutions.)

The Society of Saint Pius X has been used its Gallican playbook for over forty years now to oppose or ignore the doctrinal decisions made by men they have accepted as true popes that they caused to be placed into the Acta Apostolicae Sedis.  Truth be told, however, this is the same approach that the lords of conciliarism have taken to anything issued by the Catholic Church in the past that contradicts the letter and the spirit of their false religion. It is thus rather logical, one can see, for both sides in the "doctrinal discussions" to act as if one can be a Catholic without accepting--both privately and publicly--everything taught in the name of the Cahtolic Church as this is what both have been doing throughout the course of the whole postconciliar period.

Then again, I suppose, "life is more than just doctrine" if one side wants "in" while the other wants to let them "in" as a means of keeping them silent about teachings that are contrary to the Catholic Faith and have been the basis of conciliar life for nearly fifty long years.

On The Feast of Our Lady of the Snows

Today is the Feast of Our Lady of the Snows, a day on which snows fell on the Esquiline Hill in Rome whereon was found the trace of what became the Basilica of Saint Mary Major, one of the four Roman archbasilicas, the very place where the Crib in which the Newborn Baby Jesus was placed by Our Lady can be found, the Crib on which Saint Jerome rested his own head in adoration. It is no accident that Saint Jerome's relics themselves are to be found inside of the Basilica of Saint Mary Major, whose history began on this very day, August 5, with the miraculous snows in the middle of a Mediterranean summer:

In the time of Pope Liberius, there lived at Rome a certain nobleman named John and a noble lady his wife, who had no children to whom to leave their substance. Then they vowed that they would make the most holy Virgin Mother of God their heiress, and earnestly besought her in some way to make known to them upon what godly work she would that the money should be spent. The blessed Virgin Mary graciously listened to their prayers and heart-felt earnestness, and by a miracle assured them of her will.

On the 5th day of August, which is that time when the heat of summer waxeth greatest in Rome, a part of the Esquiline Hill was covered by night with snow. And on this same night the Mother of God appeared in a dream to John and his wife separately, and told them that on that spot, which in the morning they should see clad with snow, they should build a Church, to be dedicated in the name of the Virgin Mary, for that this was the way in which she chose that they should make her their heiress. John went and told it to Pope Liberius, who declared that he also had been visited by a like dream.

Therefore he came in a solemn procession of Priests and people to the snow-clad hill, and traced upon that spot the plan of a Church which was built with the money of John and his wife. It was afterwards rebuilt by Sixtus III. At the beginning it was called by divers names, sometimes the Liberian Basilica, sometimes the Church of St Mary-at-the-Manger. Howbeit, since there are in Rome many Churches called after the Holy Virgin Mary, and this Church doth excel them all, both in honour, and because of the strange sign wherewith it was dedicated, it hath come to be called the Church of St Mary, the Greater. The memory of the dedication thereof is kept every year by a Feast-day that taketh name from the wonderful fall of snow which on this day took place. (Matins, The Divine Office, August 5, Feast of Our Lady of the Snows.)

A miracle took place on this day during the heat of the summer on the Esquiline Hill in Rome.

Why do we doubt that such a miracle will take place at some point during the "heat," if you will, of the Great Apostasy in which we find ourselves?

Indeed, this Great Apostasy is witnessing a remarkable and rapid convergence of all of the heretofore disparate forces of Judeo-Masonry make their "official reconciliation" with what most people think is Catholicism but is in fact her counterfeit ape, a sect of Modernism that has been from its very beginning a means to make the events through which we are living at this time possible to come to fruition.

Do not be agitated.

We need to rely upon Our Lady now as did the Roman patrician and his wife during the reign of Pope Liberius. We need pray for the miracle of the restoration of a true pope on the Throne of Saint Peter, a true pope who will then consecrate Russia with all of the world's true bishops in fulfillment of her Fatima Message. The devil fears this miracle as he knows that the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary spells doom from him and his forces of Judeo-Masonry that are preparing the way very rapidly for the ascent of Antichrist.

We entrust ourselves to Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary to help us in this time of apostasy and betrayal as we seek to make reparation for our own sins, which have indeed stained our souls so terribly, and for those of the whole world as the consecrated slaves of her Divine Son, Christ the King, Whose Kingship is so mocked and reiviled by the lordds of Modernity in the world and in the counterfeit church of conciliarism, through her own Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart.

Isn't it time to pray a Rosary now?

Our Lady of the Snows, pray for us.

Saint Joseph, pray for us.

Saints Peter and Paul, pray for us.

Saint John the Baptist, pray for us.

Saint John the Evangelist, pray for us.

Saint Michael the Archangel, pray for us.

Saint Gabriel the Archangel, pray for us.

Saint Raphael the Archangel, pray for us.

Saints Joachim and Anne, pray for us.

urreal is the only word to describe events in the world of naturalism and in the world of apostates who constitute the counterfeit church of conciliarism.

Pope Saint Pius X explained that instability and contradiction were two of the chief characteristics of Modernism:

It is thus, Venerable Brethren, that for the Modernists, whether as authors or propagandists, there is to be nothing stable, nothing immutable in the Church. Nor, indeed, are they without forerunners in their doctrines, for it was of these that Our predecessor Pius IX wrote: 'These enemies of divine revelation extol human progress to the skies, and with rash and sacrilegious daring would have it introduced into the Catholic religion as if this religion were not the work of God but of man, or some kind of philosophical discovery susceptible of perfection by human efforts.' On the subject of revelation and dogma in particular, the doctrine of the Modernists offers nothing new. We find it condemned in the Syllabus of Pius IX, where it is enunciated in these terms: ''Divine revelation is imperfect, and therefore subject to continual and indefinite progress, corresponding with the progress of human reason'; and condemned still more solemnly in the Vatican Council: ''The doctrine of the faith which God has revealed has not been proposed to human intelligences to be perfected by them as if it were a philosophical system, but as a divine deposit entrusted to the Spouse of Christ to be faithfully guarded and infallibly interpreted. Hence also that sense of the sacred dogmas is to be perpetually retained which our Holy Mother the Church has once declared, nor is this sense ever to be abandoned on plea or pretext of a more profound comprehension of the truth.' Nor is the development of our knowledge, even concerning the faith, barred by this pronouncement; on the contrary, it is supported and maintained. For the same Council continues: 'Let intelligence and science and wisdom, therefore, increase and progress abundantly and vigorously in individuals, and in the mass, in the believer and in the whole Church, throughout the ages and the centuries -- but only in its own kind, that is, according to the same dogma, the same sense, the same acceptation.' (Pope Saint Pius X, Pascendi Dominci Gregis, September 8, 1907.)

David Rosen can relax as conciliarism's approach to the Society of Saint Pius X is a strictly utilitarian one as Jorge Mario Bergoglio knows that, regardless of Pozzo's apparent questioning of the binding nature of certain of the "Second" Vatican Council's degrees, a "personal prelature" and possibly a red hat for Bishop Fellay will reap dividends of silence for years to come.
