Pope Saint Pius X: "Whoever is Holy Does Not Dissent from the Pope"

The title of this commentary says it all.

Although most of the material found in the new commentary is familiar to longtime readers of this website, I am always aware that someone might stumble upon it within the Providence of God on any given day and find what is a reiteration to regular readers some material for them to consider concerning the nature of Holy Mother Church and the reverence, filial respect, love, and obedience that all Catholics owe to a true and legitimate Successor of Saint Peter.

Another commentary will follow in a few days.

On the Feast of Saint John of God: Brother Zero

This article in honor of Saint John of God, whose feast is celebrated today, was written thirteen years ago now. A lot of hard work went into its completion. I believe it to be one a piece that will give great consolation to those who have not as of yet read it.

Saint John of God was little understood during his life. It was the case that even his longtime spiritual director, Saint John of Avila, who knew him fairly well, did not understand his decisions. Saint John of God suffered from all manner of slanders and even beatings in his life. He suffered slanders even up to the point of his own death. It was enough for him to be understood by God. It should be enough for us as well, especially during this time of apostasy and betrayal when so many of us are misunderstood and castigated by relatives and friends and acquaintances as being "outside of the Church" for our refusal to make any concessions to conciliarism or its false shepherds. We should be grateful that we are as misunderstood and hated and calumniated as was Saint John of God!

A new commentary will be published within ten minutes of this posting. Thank you.

On the Feast of the Angelic Doctor, Saint Thomas Aquinas, O.P. (2023)

This is a revised and expanded, although still entirely inadequate, commentary on the Feast of Saint Thomas Aquinas, O.P., Tuesday, March 7, 2023.

The next original article should be published within twenty-four hours as it was delayed yesterday by entirely unforeseen circumstances.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Believing Catholics Pose No Threat to a Just Social Order

As I noticed a few formatting glitches in the revised and expanded version of this commentary, I have taken the time to go through the text again and indented all material that required such indentation. A few other problems were corrected as well. This commentary and several others are being prepared for publication in book format

A new article should appear by Tuesday, March 7, 2023, the Feast of Saint Thomas Aquinas and the Commemoration of Tuesday in the Second Week of Lent;

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Sin: More Deadly Than the Coronavirus, part twenty-one

Yes, this is part twenty-one of “Sin: More Deadly Than the Coronavirus.

Another original article, one that deals with the current madness in the mad, mad, mad, mad world of conciliarism, will follow in a few days.

Non-tax-deductible financial gifts are a matter of great urgency now. Thank you.

Revised and Expanded: Sin: More Deadly Than the Coronavirus, part twenty

This is a revised and expanded version of part twenty of “Sin: More Deadly Than the Coronavirus.”

As I have noted before, it is no longer possible to revise articles once posted because the Drupal platform on which this site has existed for nine of its nineteen years has become obsolete, and I lack the technological knowledge (and the time) to move the several thousand articles this site to another platform.

Thus, the commentary has been revised and expanded in light of some additional documentation that came to light since the original commentary was posted.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saint Margaret of Cortona, pray for us.

Saint Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin, pray for us.

Sin: More Deadly Than the Coronavirus, part twenty

The hour is late, and I am very tired.

Herewith is part twenty of "Sin: More Deadly Than the Coronavirus."

Another original article will appear in a few days.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Memento Homo, Quia Pulvis Es, Et in Pulverem Reverteris (2023)

Our annual Lenten journey into the desert begins today,  Ash Wednesday, February 22, 2023, which is also the Commemorations of the Chair of Saint Peter in Antioch and of Saint Paul. Deo gratias!

The season that begins on Ash Wednesday is the time of penance. This is the time to withdraw from the world. This is the time to be earnest about relying upon the ineffable graces that were won for us by the shedding of every single drop of the Most Precious Blood of Our Divine Redeemer, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, during His Passion and Death and that flow into our sous through the loving hands of His Most Blessed Mother, she who is the Mediatrix of All Graces.

This period of six weeks, four days until Easter Sunday (six weeks, three and one-half days until the Easter Vigil) is nearly one-ninth of an entire calendar year. May we beg Our Lady to help us make the best Lent of our lives as we do not know if it will be our last. Indeed, we do not know whether we will live to see Easter Sunday in this life on Sunday, April 9, 2023.

Part twenty of "Sin: More Dangerous Than the Coronavirus" will be published ether tomorrow or Friday, Thank you.

Our Lady of Dolors, pray for us.

Witnesses for the State

Timothy Michael “Cardinal” Dolan, who is the chairman of the American conciliar “bishops’” committee on “religious liberty, has issued a statement about the leaked memorandum from the Richmond, Virginia, field office of the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The statement begins by denouncing all forms of “extremism,” “violence,” and racism as though anyone associated with the “radical traditional Catholic” “hate groups” smeared by the Southern Poverty Law Center condones violence or racism.

As to what it means to be “extreme,” however, I ask some very pointed questions of the fabled dancer with the Rockettes who has been the conciliar “archbishop” of New York since April 15, 2009.

I was making great progress on part twenty of “Sin: More Deadly Than the Coronavirus” and look forward to resuming work on it later today, but I thought that Dolan statement deserved a little bit of attention.

Seeing the Hand of God in the Chastisements of the Moment

This is a very brief addendum to Revised and Expanded: Believing Catholics Pose No Threat to a Just Social Order.

Steady progress is being made on part twenty of “Sin: More Deadly Than the Coronavirus.” Another three full days writing may be necessary to complete it, but it will be as thorough as the other parts have been once it is ready for posting.

The need for non-tax-deductible financial gifts remains.

Thank you.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.
