On the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, June 7, 2024

Today's feast, which was extended to the universal church by Pope Pius IX, is the result of at least six centuries of devotion to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus that culminated with the apparitions of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque at the height of Jansenism in the late-Seventeenth Century.

None of us deserves the mercies of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Yet it is that Our Divine Redeemer does indeed shower us with those mercies if we approach Him with a contrite heart, especially by making regular use of the Sacred Tribunal Penance to make good, integral confessions of our sins to a true priest as we promise to amend our lives, to do penance and to sin no more. We are loved by Love Himself. We are loved particularly by Love Incarnate, Who died for us on the wood of the Holy Cross to redeem us.

Our Lord's love for us is an act of His Divine Will, the ultimate expression of which is the salvation of our immortal souls as members of His Catholic Church. What an obligation we have to return love unto Love Himself as we seek to serve Him as His consecrated slaves through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Several other reflections on this feast day that have been posted on this site in the past are: Enthroning the True and Unsurpassed Love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Our HomesNo One is a Stranger to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus: Remedy for the Cruelty of a Cruel Age.

I expect that the long commentary I am working on concerning the latest news about the coronascam will be published on Sunday, June 9, 2024, the Third Sunday after Pentecost and the Commemoration of Saints Primus and Felician.

A blessed Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus to you all.

Our Lady of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, pray for us.

Belief in the "Right" to Contraception Leads to the Belief in a "Right" to the Artificial Creation of Children

United States Senators Rafael Edward Cruz (Republican-Texas) and Katie Britt (Republican-Alabama) have introduced legislation to make the artificial conception of children by means of the immoral practice called in vitro fertilization a Federally guaranteed "right." One false "right" leads to the invention of other false "rights." Legitimate rights are bestowed by God, not by His rational creatures.

The next original commentary on this site may take four or five days to complete as it will be another one of my comprehensive studies on the ways in the coronascam lies are unfolding and how the "vaccines" are producing a continuing genocide of innocent human beings who swallowed the bait and have either "died suddenly" or have been stricken with life-threatening conditions such as myocarditis.

Saint Boniface: Apostle to Germany (June 5, 2024)

Today's republished offering is a revised and expanded reflection on the missionary work of Saint Boniface, the Apostle to Germany, who stands as a rebuke to the conciliar "popes" and their embrace of false religions.

The next original article will be published in about fifteen minutes.

The Only Verdict That Matters Belongs to Christ the King

This is a commentary about the conviction of former President Donald John Trump on the bogus charges invented by New York County District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who prosecuted the former president on misdemeanor charges whose statute of limitations had expired but which were brought to life by claiming the misdemeanors were part of a felonious scheme to shield illegal activity in furtherance of a crime whose identity was kept a secret until just before jury deliberations, and even the conflicted judge, Juan Merchan, gave the jurors a choice of which felony they might use to find the defendant guilty even if they did NOT agree amongst themselves about which felony Trump violated.

This manifest injustice, and it is just that, is just the logical result of living in a world where men, untethered from any fear of treating others unjustly and thus from any fear of their own going to hell for all eternity, do not live for Christ the King and His Catholic Church. In other words, this manifest injustice is just another consequence of the Protestant Revolution against the Social Reign of Christ the King and of the rise of the welter of Calvinist-Judeo-Masonic errors that are expressed in the Constitution of the United States of America. There can be no justice when men are personally unjust, especially as they commit Mortal Sins in the objective order of things about which they boast while expressing their belief that the ends justify means.

Many secular commentators have stated their sadness upon the trial and conviction of a former president, in this case a former president whose only real crime was to have defeated Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton on November 8, 2016, and thus interrupted what had been (and continues to be under Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr.) Barack Hussein Obama/Barry Soetoro’s regime of “transformative politics” (Marxism with an American face).

I, though, am saddened that so many Catholics do not see the diabolical farce that is the America constitutional regime and still fall for the tricks of the devil to distract them into believing that the tide of evil that has swept over the world because of the Protestant and all subsequent theological and social revolutions, including of the anti-Theistic French and Bolshevik Revolutions and the anti-Incarnational revolutions upon which the modern civil state, including the United States of America, is founded and that have been aided abetted by Modernism and the lords of conciliarism, by means merely human. Not so.

The world is too far gone.

Conciliarism has made its peace with a world that is at war with Christ the King and His true Church, reviving paganism and institutionalizing practical atheism in its wake.

Sure, it is sad that Donald John Trump has been convicted unjustly, but it is sadder still he does not realize human injustices are a means used by Christ the King to effect his own conversion and thus to make reparation for the many things he has said and done that are injurious to his own salvation and that of others.

Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen once commented that he would say to himself “All that wasted suffering” when he either visited or passed by hospitals.

Well, Donald John Trump has been given an opportunity to use a natural injustice for the benefit of his own soul, and it is truly sad that the does not realize this to be the case. Pray for his conversion to the Catholic Church.

Sadder to me, however, is that only a relative handful of people are aware that courageous Catholics such as John Hinshaw and Joan Andrews Bell have sentenced to and are serving monstrous jail terms for trying to save preborn babies from the baby butchers. They are using their injustice to good purpose as they pray for the conversion of those who have persecuted them and those who continue to slaughter the preborn. They are the ones to be admired as there is no one to admire in the case of New York v. Trump as it was the defendant himself who gave his political enemies the ammunition they needed to bring completely bogus charges against him based upon his notorious disregard for the binding precepts of the Sixth Commandment.

May our daily consecration to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary and our fidelity to Our Lady’s Most Holy Rosary plant the seeds for the conversion of all men and all nations to the true Faith.

Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament, pray for us.

On the Solemnity of Corpus Christi, May 30, 2024

Today is the great Feast of Corpus Christi. This article, written a long time ago now and slightly revised over the years, is an exhortation to the readers of this site to spend more and more time in adoration before Our Beloved before His Real Presence in the Most Blessed Sacrament if this is at all possible in your area.

Adoration is the first end of prayer, including the perfect prayer that is the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in which Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ becomes Incarnate under the appearances of bread and wine when a men man, uttering mere words over the elements of the earth, calls Him down from Heaven. We must adore God with our whole mind, soul, heart, body and strength. To spend time before the Most Blessed Sacrament in prayer is a foretaste of Heavenly glories.

Our goal in life is to behold the glory of the Beatific Vision of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost for all eternity in the company of Our Lady, Saint Joseph, our Guardian Angels (each of whom beholds the Beatific Vision as he tries to guide us home to Heaven!), our patron saints and all of the members of the Church Triumph, whose ranks we hope and pray will include our dearest and nearest relatives and friends.

We must make time for the foretaste of Heavenly glories by means of profound Eucharistic Adoration in this life is we want to enjoy the glories of Heaven itself for all eternity. There are infused graces that are flooded into the souls of those who spend time in adoration before the Blessed Sacrament, those souls who are conscious of the need to make reparation for their sins as they give thanksgiving to God for all of the favors, both spiritual and temporal, they have received and who recognize the need to petition God for the favors we need, both spiritual temporal, starting with an earnest petition each day that we be given the grace to have a holy and sacramentally-provided-for death.

Our Lord stands ready to send us this infusion of graces through the loving hands of His Most Blessed Mother, who is mystically with us when we pray before her Divine Son’s Real Presence. All we need to do is to arrange our lives in such a way as to make time for prayer before Our Eucharistic King and Lord.

We must, of course, be conscious of our need to get to the Sacrament of Penance on a weekly basis in order that our reception of Our Lord’s Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity in Holy Communion will be worthy and fervent. The frequent, devout and worthy reception of Our Lord in Holy Communion gives strength even to those souls who have been steeped in one sin after another, those souls who have refused to surrender to the devil’s attacks upon them over the years:

And then come, and accuse me, saith the Lord: if your sins be as scarlet, they shall be made as white as snow: and if they be red as crimson, they shall be white as wool. If you be willing, and will hearken to me, you shall eat the good things of the land. (Isaias 1: 18-19.)

We must ask Our Lady on this great feast day of Corpus Christi, which, of course, is celebrated as an Octave in those chapels that use the Missal of Saint Pius V before it was “reformed” by the revolutionary efforts of Annibale Bugnini and Ferdinando Antonelli in the 1950s, to help give us more and more graces to recognize the Most Sacred Heart of her Divine Son, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, beats for with great love in the Most Blessed Sacrament.

We must ask Our Lady to help us approach the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through her own Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart with such fervor and devotion that we will consider it as a great loss if ever there is a day we are unable to get a true offering of Holy Mass and unable to spend at least some time with her Divine Son, Who is the Prisoner of Love in tabernacles today just as He was the Prisoner of her Virginal and Immaculate Womb from the time of His Incarnation to the day of His Nativity.

We must also thank Our Lord and His Most Blessed Mother for our true bishops and true priests who make it possible for us to have the Sacraments in this time of apostasy and betrayal, remembering to pray that more young men will have the courage to renounce the world and study to become an alter Christus so that he, acting in persona Christi in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, can make Our Lord present in the Most Blessed Sacrament and to bless us with that Most Blessed Sacrament on great feast days such as this one.

Today, May 30, 2024, is also, quite providentially, the sixty-fifth anniversary of making my First Holy Communion at Saint Aloysius Church, Great Neck, New York. I remember the day well. It was sunny spring Saturday in 1959 (it was also Memorial Day as May 30 was this secular observance's fixed date until around 1971) and we were all filled with such great anticipation before Mass and exileration thereafter. Please pray for my fellow first communicants, living and deceased, as well for the souls of the priests (Monsignor Vincent Baldwin, Father James Collins, Father Robert Mason, Father Christopher Huntington) and the Reverend Sisters of Mercy who prepared us for this day of such wonderful joy.

A new commentary will be published within five to seven minutes.

A blessed Feast of Corpus Christi to you all!

"Traditional" Pots Calling "Conservative" Kettles Black

This is a commentary about "Archbishop" Carlo Maria Vigano's reaction to Jorge Mario Bergoglio's calling "conservative" "bishops" in the United States of America "suidical" because they have placed themselves in what the Argentine Apostate calls a "dogmatic box."

Father Vigano, who was ordained in 1968 but who is not a true bishop, criticized how "conservatives" within the conciliar structures selective quote from conciliar documents. Very interesting, especially since Father Vigano conveniently ignores the many ways the man he has praised, Joseph Alois Ratzinger/Benedict XVI, defected from the Catholic Faith both before and after becoming the fifth int in the current line of antipopes.

I will move on to other subjects for a week or two as I think, with the exception of one commentary, the last five weeks have spent on conciliar-themed subjects. Enough is enough for the time being.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saint Augustine of Canterbury, pray for us.

Revised and Expanded: The "Second" Vatican Council Was the Dirty Work of True Bishops and True Priests

Although I am preparing a new (and relatively short) commentary that cannot be completed at this time, I found one from forty-nine months ago that I think is a useful reminder that it was enemies from within the ranks of the Catholic Church who fomented the conciliar revolution at the "Second" Vatican Council, which did not just come out of nowhere.

Thus, after having posted New "Norms" With One Principal Purpose: To Disparage Our Lady's Fatima Message, yesterday, Trinity Sunday, I am offering you this revised and slightly expanded commentary for your consideration on the Feast of Saint Bede the Venerable and the Commemoration of Pope Saint John I, the only pope of that name to have been raised to the altars of the Catholic Church. Reflections on each are found in appendices below the text of this commentary.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saint Bede the Venerable, pray for us.

New "Norms" With One Principal Purpose: To Disparage Our Lady's Fatima Message

The new "norms" about private revelations issued recently by Victor Manuel Fernandez, who is certainly a busy little beaver chomping at those last bastions of recognizable Catholicism within the structures of the counterfeit church of conciliarism, have one prinicpal purpose: to disparage, demean, and denigate Our Lady's Fatima Message.

This a long commentary. Then again, those who still access this site know that I do not write in sound bites.

A blessed Trinity Sunday to you all.

Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity, pray for us.

Saint Philip Neri, pray for us.

Pope Saint Eleutherius, pray for us.

De Deo Uno, De Deo Trino (2024)

Today is Trinity Sunday and the Commemorations of the First Sunday after Pentecost, of Saint Philip Neri, and Pope Saint Eleutherius, Feast of Saint John of San Facundo, of the First Sunday after Pentecost, and of Saints Basilides, Cyrinius, Nabor, and Nararius, thus beginning the second half of the liturgical year that began with the First Sunday of Advent.

The mystery of the Most Holy Trinity was revealed to us by Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Although there are clear references in the text of the Old Testament to a plurality of Persons in the Divine Godhead ("Let us make man in our own image"), human reason, which can come to the conclusion that God exists, is insufficient to know about the existence of the Most Blessed Trinity. Our Lord Himself, the Second Person of the Most Blessed Trinity made Man in Our Lady's Virginal and Immaculate Womb, had to reveal this to us. The doctrine of the Most Holy Trinity is rejected by all infidels and misrepresented by most Protestant sects.

To wit, many Protestants, especially in the evangelical and fundamentalist sects, are "baptized" in "the name of the Lord Jesus," not in "The Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost," which is invalid on its face. This means that many hundreds of thousands of Protestants are not even Christians despite their thinking that they are. We must defend the doctrine of the Most Blessed Trinity with our very lives if necessary, having frequent recourse to the making of the Sign of the Cross throughout the day. This is a custom that is held dear by many Spaniards and Latin Americans.

Remember, Jorge Mario Bergoglio did not want to give a "blessing," not that he is capable of giving one as a lay Jesuit revolutionary, that is, when address the crowd on the Capitol Mall in Washington, District of Columbia, on Thursday, September 24, 2015, the Feast of Our Lady of Ransom, for fear of offending "unbelievers." We must be afraid of offending the Most Holy Trinity by means of our sins of commission or, like Senor Jorge himself, sins of omission.

A blessed Trinity Sunday to you all.

Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity, pray for us.

Saint Philip Neri, pray for us.

Pope Saint Eleutherius, pray for us.
