Naturally Absurd, part one

Although very late in the day on Quinqugesima Sunday, I am able to present to you part one of “Naturally Absurd,” which, according to my Word text indicator, runs about forty pages, although I did do some editing of the text once I had pasted into the Drupal platform on which site has existed for five and one-half years after the Adobe Acrobat platform became unworkable.

Part one of this commentary offers some commentaries on the nefarious no-goodniks who are seeking the presidential nomination of the organized crime family of the false opposite of the naturalist “left.” Its text is filled with lots and lots of facts. However, the principal purpose of this commentary and the one that will follow it by the end of this coming week is to help the few remaining readers of this website not to be agitated in the midst of the current election cycle and thus to be blinded to the supernatural realities that we are only witnessing the logical devolution of a system founded on premises that left no place for Christ the King and His true Church in its official public life and operation.

False premises lead to bad results.

Always.

Inevitably.

Naturalism engenders more naturalism, and the failure of one type of naturalism to stop the evils and/or to remedy the “flaws” of another type of naturalism results in the triumph of totalitarian statism, which is being championed by the atheist Jew from Vermont by way of Brooklyn, New York, Bernard John Sanders, not that those who oppose Sanders are that much different.

The way out?

Jorge's Querida Amazonia: Another Modernist Primer

Time that had been blocked out to write my final lengthy commentary on the sideshows of naturalism for a few months had to be used in the past three days to produce this lengthy monograph that highlights a few of the themes contained in Jorge Mario Bergoglio’s latest Modernist primer, Querida Amazonia.

The next original commentary on this site might not be posted until Saturday, February 22, 2020, the Feast of the Chair of Saint Peter in Antioch. However, the work on it that was suspended to produce the current commentary will commence later today.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Jorge and His Fiends Accept Fables and Myths While Disparaging Cathollic Truths

The late Joseph Henry Garagiola, Sr., related an anecdote about his lifelong friend, Lawrence Peter Berra, with whom he had grown up in The Hill section of St. Louis, Missouri, when he, Garagiola, appeared on The Jack Paar Show on Friday, October 2, 1964, on the National Broadcasting Company television network. The Jack Paar Progam was a weekly interview program that aired on Friday nights from 10:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

On the Feast of the Apparition of Our Lady of Lourdes

Today is the one hundred sixty-second anniversary of the first apparition of Our Lady to Saint Bernadette Soubirous in the Grotto of Massabielle near Lourdes, France. Our Lady explained to the fourteen year-old Bernadette that we must do penance for our sins and for those of others.

Can we do any less in our day?

Indeed, the state of the Church Militant on earth and of the world-at-large has worsened as the sins of men have grown more numerous and more daring and as most baptized Catholics have been deprived of access to Sanctifying Grace by virtue of the invalid sacraments offered in the counterfeit church of conciliarism. God is not going to permit any country that kills the innocent preborn with legal impunity and kills souls in the name of the falsehoods of "freedom of speech" and "freedom of the press" and "freedom of religion" and a general sense of legal and cultural licentiousness to know long term material prosperity. Then again, these merchants of death have been enabled by the conciliar revolutionaries, who believe that signs of "outward penance belong to a different era in the history of the Church." We must indeed take Our Lady's injunction, "Penance! Penance! Penance! Pray to God for sinners," most seriously as we pray as many Rosaries each day as our states-in-life permits.

A new commentary that has nothing to do with the longer one that will not be ready for publication until a week form today will be posted in a short while after this republished reflection.

Our Lady of Lourdes, pray for us.

On Seputagesima Sunday (2020)

Today is Septuagesima Sunday.

Lent begins in but seventeen days.

Easter is exactly nine weeks way.

It is time to start our preparations for Lent, time to start thinking about the penances we are going to undertake starting on Ash Wednesday in order to make reparation for our sins and those of the whole world as we prepare to enter deep into the mysteries of the Paschal Triduum of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ's Passion, Death, and Resurrection on Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday. The purple vestments representing a penitential season of Holy Mother Church make their reappearance today to remind us that we must be deadly serious about the business of making the best Lent of our lives as we do not know whether this Lent will be our last one on the face of this earth--or whether we will even live to see the end of this particular Lent! Let us use this time well as the consecrated slaves of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, praying as many Rosaries each day as our states-in-life permit. Work continues on this site's next original article, which should appear by Wednesday, February 12, 2020, the Feast of the Seven Holy Founders of the Order of Servites.

Our Lady of Dolors, pray for us.

Saint Cyril of Alexandria, pray for us.

Saint Appolonnia, pray for us.

As a supplement to the timely reprise about Willard Mitt Romney that I posed a few days ago, I am appending below a list of commmentaries about the sanctimonious flip-flopper, hyprocrite and big state "conservative" who as born in Michigan, ater went to graduate school at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts before establishing a residence in the mothership of the false, American ethnocentric religion called Mormonism, the State of Utah. A Timely Reprise: Flip-Flopping, Carpetbagging Willard Mitt Romney's Self-Serving Hypocrisy

Although I intend to write about recent events in Washington, District of Columbia, including today’s so-called “National Prayer Breakfast” that is a celebration of political ecumenism and religious indifferentism whose very existence is a testament of the corrupt nature of the American founding principles, I thought that it would be most instructive to republish an article from thirteen months ago that focused on the flip-flopping, carpet-bagging, self-righteous, sanctimonious, “my religion guides my life” Willard Mitt Romney. This republished article is simply being republished as it appeared last year. Readers who are interested will see the direct relevance to Romney’s most recent exercise in preening and posturing.

Again, I simply will not have the time to address some of the events that have taken place in recent days, and I do intend to have a thing or two to say about Athanasius Schenider’s asking his “pope” to rebuke the German “bishops” for their embrace of “synodality,” which the  “pope” has been advocating since shortly after he was elevated to be the universal public face of apostasy on March 13, 2013. This is all so truly maddening.

Anyhow, I hope to have “We Are Governed by Morons” published by Tuesday or, at the latest, Wednesday, of next week. Thank you.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saint Romuald, pray for us.

Living at a Time When Confusion and Contradiction Pass for "Progress"

Here is another commentary that will keep the “vast” readership of the site busy for a few days.

The commentary discusses President Donald John Trump’s address to the March for Life on Friday, January 24, 2020, the Feast of Saint Timothy.

Here is an outline of the article in order to assist you in digesting its long text:

  1. The Sincerity of President Trump’s Opposition to Surgical Baby-Killing
  2. An Analysis of President Trump’s January 24, 2020 Address to the March for Life
  3. The March for Life, Aided by the Conciliar “Bishops,” Seeks a “Consensus”
  4. The Potomac Flows into the Tiber—and Back Again
  5. Jorge Mario Bergoglio’s Willful Ignorance
  6. Concluding Remarks

As is usually the case with commentaries such as this one, I have tried to be thorough while making all necessary qualifications.

I am going to "disappear" for a while as I finalize Volume 2 of To Live in Light of Eternity.

A blessed Feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary to you all.

On the Feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary (2020)

Today is the Feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary, always the humble handmaid of the Lord who humbled herself this day, the last day of Christmastide, which ends after Holy Mass today, by submitting to the rituals of the law although she was not in need of such a ritualistic purification because of her Perpetual Virginity.

This is the day that Our Lady presented her Divine Son, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, in the same Temple where He would be found twelve years later answering questions of the rabbis, the same Temple whose curtain would be torn in two from top to bottom as He breathed His last on the wood of the Holy Cross to redeem us, thereby signifying the permanent end of the Old Covenant and the supersession of Judaism by Catholicism as the true religion. The aged Simeon, who waited patiently every day in the Temple for the fulfillment of the promise that God had made to him, that he would not die before his eyes had seen and his arms had beheld the Messiah, sent the first Sword of Sorrow plunging through Our Lady's Sorrowful and and Immaculate Heart when he prophesied that the Child he beheld would be destined for the rise and for the fall of man, a sign to be opposed, a Sign of Contradiction. We must never fear to be signs of contradiction in our own lives in imitation of the THE Sign of Contradiction, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, as He hung on the wood of the Holy Cross to redeem us as he was mocked and reviled by the very people from whose stock He had taken His Sacred Humanity.

We must be willing to suffer all manner of calumny and humiliation for the many times that we have preferred human respect to fidelity to Our Lord, for the many times we have refused to call upon Our Lady's maternal intercession, for the many times we have refused to "take sides," especially in our day by refusing to reject conciliarism and its ravenous wolves once and for all.

A very long commentary will be posted shortly  after the republication of this reflection.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us!

While I am nearing completion on my next article, which is now over forty pages long, I have another two to three hours of writing to do on it before I format it for posting, a process that can take about two hours in and of itself. The past two days were spent on the new commentary, which was started over the weekend, but the allergic reaction to the medical procedure that I underwent on January 15, 2020, got to be so bad by Tuesday, January 28, 2020, the Feast of Saint Peter Nolasco, that I had to go to a physician who diagnosed the reaction as allergic dermatitis. This is superb penance. Deo gratias. However, the allergic reaction did slow down my ability to write for a while.

Now, as I have noted, I am no longer republishing most of the spiritual reflections that have been published in To Live in Light of Eternity, Volume 1. I am, however, going to provide links to some of these reflections. Today is the Feast of Saint John Bosco, to whom my family has a fervent devotion, and I am thus providing you with a link to a brief and wholly inadequate reflection that was republished last year: Saint John Bosco: Ever Zealous for Souls Until the End.

By the way, has the naturalist circus ended yet? I have had too much else to do with my time.

Our Lady Help of Christians, pray for us.

Saint John Bosco, pray for us.

Saint Paul the Apostle: Converted by Our Lord Himself

It had been my intention to post a new article on January 22, 2020, as well as to revise an existing article about the dreadful decisions rendered by the Supreme Court of the United States of America in the cases of Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton. Although I had gotten a good head start on the new article, the increasing severity of an allergic reaction to something used in a medical procedure ten days ago has made it difficult, if not impossible, to sleep much, and it is generally a “plus” to have one’s wits about him when he writes. This is, of course, excellent penance, which is accepted with gratitude as a very small way in which I can seek to make reparation for my many sins. Deo gratias!

As frequently is the case, however, an unexpected delay sometimes serves to the advantage of a better and more complete commentary. Such is the case with the new article, which deals with the March for Life under its post-Nellie Gray leadership, as President Donald John Trump became the first president yesterday, Friday, January 24, 2020, the Feast of Saint Timothy, to actually address the March for Life in person, noting that the spineless excuse of an ignoramus named George Walker Bush invited two hundred leaders of the establishment pro-life movement to meet with him in the White House on January 22, 2008, when it was no longer “detrimental” to his political career to do so. (Dubya avoided all contact with the March for Life on January 22, 2001, two days after his inauguration, and had United States Representative Christopher Smith, R-New Jersey, read a statement that had been prepared in his name.)

President Trump is to be commended for going to the March for Life. However, he believes that one can be “pro-life” while supporting the execution of the innocent preborn in the so-called “hard” cases (rape, incest and alleged threats to the life of the mother) as a matter of principle, not one of political expediency. He does not see that his position is a contradiction of his statements that “every child” should be welcomed in life as it is illogical say this yet support the destruction of innocent children in their mothers’ wombs as a matter of principle.

Now, readers of this site know that I am critical of President Donald John Trump for many reasons, some of which were discussed last in The Civil State Must Exercise a Reign of Terror When the Social Reign of Christ the King Does Not Prevail six days ago, I always give credit where credit is due, and the president deserves credit for going to the March for Life despite the fact that it does not hurt his political cause with a segment “base” to do so at a time when insane people aflame with hatred for anyone who dares to take exception, no matter how inchoately, to the prevailing uniparty system of false opposite, are trying to remove him from office.

The fact that the president supports “exceptions” to the binding precepts of the Fifth Commandment is not his fault. While he is wrong and such rhetoric is deleterious to a proper understanding of right principles, the real fault lies with establishment “pro-life” leaders who have made at least the “life of the mother exception” ever since Roe v. Wade was handed down forty-seven years ago and actually scoff, not oppose outright, those very, very few candidates for public life who are actually opposed to all surgical baby-killing without exception.

The new commentary, therefore, will be measured. However, it will be unstinting in defense of the truth as the only foundation of a social order premised upon the pursuit of the common temporal good in light of man’s Last End.

Today, Saturday, January 25, 2020, is the Feast of the Conversion of Saint Paul the Apostle and the Commemoration of Saint Peter. Although I am not republishing most of the articles contained in To Live in Light of Eternity, Volume 1, I will do so on some feast days. This is one of those days.

Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ personally intervened to effect the conversion of the fire-breathing hater and persecutor of Catholics, Saul of Tarsus. By so doing, of course, the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity made Man in His Most Blessed Mother's Virginal and Immaculate Womb by the power of the Third Person of the Most Blessed Trinity, God the Holy Ghost, violated the counterfeit church of conciliarism's prohibition of proselytism. Saul of Tarsus did not seek out Our Lord, but was sought out by Him so that he would become Saint Paul, the Apostle to the Gentiles one of twin pillars of the Church of Rome along with the first pope himself, Saint Peter the Apostle.

The next original article on this site, which will deal in part with the persecution of the students of Covington High who were confronted by a professional Native American agitator after the March for Life a week ago today, January 18, 2019, the Feast of the Chair of Saint Peter in Rome and the Commemorations of Saint Paul and of Saint Prisca, and in part with two other subjeccts, should be posted no later than Sunday, January 27, 2019, the Third Sunday after the Epiphany and the Commemoration of Saint John Chyrsostom (as well as the sixty-seventh anniversary of my own baptism at the hands of Father John Dushan at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Queens Village, New York, after spending the first two months, three days of my life after birth as a pagan baby). Thank you for your patience.

Finally, there is little that I can say to those displeased with my last two orginal articles on this site. No matter the agitations of the moment and the "good intentions" of those steeped in one naturalist myth after another, Catholicism is the only means of human salvation and of genuine social order founded in the pursuit of the common temporal good in light of man's Last End. Agitation will always be the lot of pluralist, religiously indifferentist states. The only way out of the mess that the world is in runs through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, and I will keep repeating this until I die or am unable to continue my writing before death.

Our Lady, Queen of the Apostles, pray for us.

Saint Paul, pray for us.

Saint Peter, pray for us.
